Another bonfire was lit. The big pot was placed over the fire, half filled with water from the stream, and covered with a wooden lid. Soon, the water was boiling.
The small pieces of meat were thrown in, followed by the mushroom. Some salt and spices were also added. When the big pot of meat soup was giving off a good aroma, vegetables were thrown in to boil for a while, and it was now ready for eating.
The timing was just right; the roasted meat at the side was also cooked.
