A sinister and yet sad laughter echoed in this abyss like darkness. There is no light could be seen in here, and yet I still could see just fine.
This is strange in its own right, what kind of place is this?!
I looked around to see where that laughter came from, but all I can see is nothing but an endless darkness.
It might sounded really absurd, but i can see the color of my own clothes… it was like I'm the only thing that have color and exist in this place.
When I was thinking and pondering about this strange place, a sudden and crazed laughter resounded and echoed from my back. It sounded really close that a cold chill filled my spines.
"Hehehehe…."
With a reflex I turned my body toward my back as fast as I could. But when I looked, there is no one in there, that's right, there is nothing but an endless darkness.
The voice is that of a woman, but the crazed and sad voice of her made it like a voice came from a beast rather than a woman.
It was so hoarse that I have a chill and cold sweat poured down from my back and forehead.
I tried looking around again and with a trembling legs, I took my first step toward the endless darkness in front of me.
With a slight tremble of my feet touching the darkness covered floor, I looked around for some kind of sign of life and creature that might possibly live in this place.
"This is really creepy as fuck. Why the hell I'm in this kind of place anyway, is there no other place other than this?! Is this how people awaken their magic in this world? So damn creepy?! Well damn, what a nasty place."
"Is there anyone here?! If you hear me, then answer me! Oooyyyyy~~!!"
"Heeelllooooo… Anybody here!!? I'm the most handsome man in the universe!!!"

After walking while grumbling and shouting in this creepy place for a while, I didn't even find a single soul or things in here.
This place is really creepy damn it… ah, just how many time have I thought that this place is creepy, the word creepy is just an understatement for this place!
Suddenly a cold and freezing hands touched my neck from the back. I yelped in surprise while turning my body to the back.
"AH!"
"Hehehehe…."
Like a ghost appearing and disappearing as it wants, I didn't see anybody when I turned around.
Her hoarse beast like voice sounded far, but I keep looking around as I am sure that the owner of that voice is right here and is very near.
"You creep, can you stop hiding and show yourself!"
Damn, I said it, I fucking said it! You ghost better not scare me to death or I might not play with you after I died!
Like I could play after I'm dead… well whatever, I'm still looking around cautiously, this kind of paranormal activities is not something I experienced even in my previous life, so I kind of excited a bit.
"Damn, what a shy ghost you are. Show yourself will ya, I'm tired of walking with my short legs here."
"… Y… you, stupid, idiotic, retarded…"
A small voice that was like a whisper traveled to my ears, I turned my head to the side trying to figure out where is the owner of that hoarse voice.
It was like she spoke from a very far-away place, I keep looking around and yet, there is nothing in front of me. Only an endless darkness that I cannot see an end… or rather, I can't even see anything but my own body in here.
"You are really rude you know that. Just so you know, I'm not that idiotic as you think I am, you just don't know me well enough!"
"Hahahaha! I have always been with you since you were born in Earth! I know you more than anyone, more than you, yourself! And I know the you before you were born in Earth! I am always watching, I have always, always, always, every day, every time, watching you!"
Her hoarse but loud voice echoed in the darkness as if she was right beside me.
When I tried to joke about her mocking words, I didn't expect such a bomb to be dropped all of a sudden.
She know me in earth!? Before I was born?! Always watching me…
This is strange! What kind of existence is she?! And what the hell did she mean by knowing me before I was born?! Is she my wife in my previous previous life?! A life before I was born in earth?!
This is confusing god damn it! I was sweating bullet at the moment, her saying that she know me more than myself is just too damn creepy!
But I can't help but to believe her words. What kind of existence is she? Why is she always watching me? What does she meant by that? I have a lot of question to ask her, I'm indeed scared but my curiosity got the better of me.
"I don't understand, why would you keep watching me? And how could you know me even before I was born in earth? Just… who are you?"

When I tried to ask her why she hate me to the point where she sounded so crazed and pained like that, a blinding light hit my eyes and before I know it, I was being watched by a cute little girl with a black hair looking from above staring at my face.
She was staring at me so close that I thought she was the ghost in that dark world. If not for my quick mind and how fast my brain rotated and remembered who she was, I will definitely hit her in reflex!
"Too close…"
"Ah!"
With a red face she then ran toward the door before falling to the ground face first. That must've been hurt, I thought while glancing at her with a slight concern.
Oh she got up, without saying anything she then dashed toward the door again while looking down… her ears are red though, she probably got embarrassed.
She then opened the door without closing it again. Shees, if you want to go outside then at least close the door again little kid.
My mind is actually not working properly right now, there is a lot of question and mystery that I want to clarify with her. It should be a 'she' right? Not some kind of 'shemale' that existed back in earth…
Anyway, my magic should be awakened now right? But strange, I don't feel anything or something different from my body.
In fact, I don't think anything has changed from before. Did it fail?! Is it because of that strange thing inside that darkness?!
"Sigh… I feel awfully calm about this… even though I have been expecting it for a long time… Haaaah… I guess this is normal for me?"
Having my expectation betrayed by reality is just something I experienced a lot back then. Therefore, seeing that I can't use magic is nothing surprising anymore…
But the suffocating feeling is still there…

When I was lost in thought and sad, mother suddenly rushed over to my side while running in a flustered manner.
Her face is red and her eyes is wet filled with tears as she hugged me into her embrace really tightly.
