Tailing Karashima Haruka was easier said than done. Or rather it seemed to go so well at the beginning. But, the problems crept up bit by bit and before they knew it; the skies dyed orange. The two of them sat down collapsed on a nearby bench on the sidewalk, utterly exhausted.
"That's enough tailing for now," Miu suggested. Only 40 minutes have passed since they started tailing him. Barely an hour, but it was enough.
"Although I'm not one to admit defeat easily. I agree," Maaya sighed.
"Maaya-chan, you don't have any work now, right?"
"A rare day off since I'll be busy with a drama for the next month. . . "
"A drama? Oh, the one Kasumi-san is staring in? That's great, the director is really popular after all," her sentence fell short when she hears a growling sound. It came from the ginger hair girl, who immediately turned red. Miu smiled, "I have work now. But you can go grab a bite in the building's cafeteria. They won't mind."
"Then, I'll take you up on that offer," just as Maaya said those words. Miu saw Karashima on the other side of the street entering a bar. Ahhh? Maaya followed her gaze, "Another time?"
Miu nodded, "Right."

Miu thought they were doing an excellent job at being stealthy. Really, she believed that. Because even when that blonde hair woman who Karashima called Sophia kissed him, and Maaya let out that large yell, Karashima didn't notice them. But it looks like that wasn't the case at all. He was buying time until that woman left. The moment she did, Karashima stood up and made his way over with an annoyed look on his face.
"Tachibana, what are you doing here?" Haruka hissed, "Kira too."
Her sweat fell, "You noticed us."
The man lets out a massive sigh, "Of course I did."
"We're here to see that you're not cheating on Lila," Maaya exclaimed, "But just now you let that woman kiss you."
"It's just a kiss."
Just a kiss?!! Miu couldn't believe what she was hearing. But no, she shook her head don't be judgemental. She has to try to understand Karashima's situation, this whole time he's lived his entire life with these corrupted values and mindset. It's not something that can be changed overnight. Before Miu could say anymore though, somebody tapped Karashima's shoulders.
Miu immediately recognized the woman, so this is the one?
"Haru-kun, you're here too."
"Mei," he scanned the woman up and down and sighed, "Weren't you hurt? Sophia said it was an emergency."
"Hurt....oh no, I just drank a bit too much."
"Geez, I worried for nothing," Haruka sighed and flicked the girl's forehead, "Don't get careless with your drinking. You have an important live show soon."
"I understand manager."
"Hey, that hasn't been sorted yet."
"But why can't it be you?" Mei questioned while pouting and reaching out to touch Karashima's arm.
Miu silently watched the situation for a while and held back a fuming Kira Maaya. So that's what's going on. Karashima's company plans on using this woman to make Lila jealous. Lila's hanyou state triggers when she is emotionally distressed about something. Those people are cruelly using this method so Lila can break down and lose control. How despicable.
"Because Karashima-san here wants to focus on his girlfriend. With a diamond-like Terashima Lila in your hands, who needs a rough gem," Miu made sure to raise her voice as she said this. The people in the surrounding immediately started to whisper and sent mocking looks over in Aizawa Mei's direction. Indeed, she may be gathering influence. But to boldly ask Karashima Haruka to be her manager, the very same Karashima Haruka who has never taken anyone as his artist before. This girl has guts, or she's plain stupid.
Karashima accepting Lila as his talent isn't surprising. Anyone would want to be Lila's manager. Who is Aizawa Mei to make such a request? A nobody.
"My wife," Haruka corrected.
Hey, does that really matter? Seeing how Karashima was looking at her, Miu sighed, "You heard the guy, he wants to focus on his wife."
Aizawa Mei's whole face was red, and she kept her head low clearly embarrassed, "S—sorry, I didn't mean to offend you."

After that, Miu thought the girl would go away, but not only did she not do that. She boldly took her seat beside Karashima. Seeing how this situation would end up, Miu told Maaya to go outside. Aizawa Mei wasn't particularly pretty, her looks at most were average. But the girls singing was above average. Miu heard rumors that Karashima Haruka acted differently towards people with talent. However, there is something different about this woman. Karashima acts differently around her; why is that? He's able to talk so casually with her too?
Miu catches a glimpse of Aizawa's screensaver; it was a picture of Lila during her latest concert.
"Your Lila's fan?"
"Yes."
Yes? And yet..' You like your idols boyfriend?' Miu thought as she looked at the girl in utter disbelief. How can somebody sit there and calmly say they are Lila's fan, and yet actively pursue the person that makes their idol happy? What an eyesore this woman, she ought to do something about this situation. Not just for Lila's sake but, it would be bad if Kasumi-san hears of this. The two may be having a falling out right now, but it doesn't change the fact that they are best friends. Before ruthless Kasumi gets on this case, she ought to deal with Aizawa Mei first.
Before Miu could say anymore, Karashima returned with her ice tea and Aizawa's order. He took a seat beside the woman and turned to her, "How is she?"
"When I left, fell asleep. She," Miu hesitated but shook her head. If this man is serious about Lila, he deserves to know, "Fainted right after you left."
"I see."
'I see?' Miu looked at him, but sadly, she couldn't read his expression. Exactly, what is this man thinking? More importantly, her gaze fell on Aizawa, who was leaning onto Karashima Haruka. This dammed woman, she's way too sly!
Karashima, however, didn't seem to notice since he was fiddling with his phone, "Hey, I was wondering. Want those onion rings, cheeseburger and fries, and chicken salad?"
Karashima probably didn't realize it was on loudspeaker since both she and Aizawa hear the other person. A cheerful voice, "Ah?!! You'll get them for me? Alright!!!"
"Mmm, I know you like them."
That's Lila's voice. Her gaze softened, so Karashima came here not really because of the call but to get food for Lila? Sure he could have gotten Lila food anywhere. But this is the only place that specializes in those dishes he mentioned. 'So far, so good,' Miu thought. Karashima cares enough for Lila to go out of his way to get her food like this. It may seem like a simple thing, but that amount of consideration should be good enough. She still needs to observe a bit more.
