Seeing her so into it, Kiryu knows he can't say anything and takes out a cigarette. At least he was going to when he finds Lila staring at him. He walks over and hugs her from behind, causing soft laughter to escape her lips. "Flirting time!!"
"Recently, it's always flirting time huh? "
"Ah, that's because you bully me a lot."
"Well, anyone would if they get stared at. And what's more, you keep sneaking up and doing things to me."

He tenderly caresses her red cheeks.

He wondered to himself, what sort of man has Lila turned him into? He recalls what the others have been saying about him lately, about him being kind and gentle. Comments like he isn't so scary anymore.
That was unthinkable!
But then again, he had been wondering that for nearly ten years, ever since he had first met her and had him wrapped around her tiny finger by just looking at him with her adorable eyes. Now that he thinks about it, he really did fall for her at first sight. Back when they were children, he thought a fairy descended on to earth. He thought she was some heavenly being, but now it's slightly different. Lila isn't a child, she's slowly becoming a woman and now she's his. She belongs to him. Kiryu moved his head so that he could kiss her pretty mouth.
She tastes so sweet. The girl's phone starts ringing and Lila rolled away from him and picked it up.
"Ah, it's time to get ready," she informed him.

He can't think of work after kissing her like this.
Seeing her hold up the lunch box she just made though, he exhales deeply. Well, flirting with her during lunch is also alright. He extends his hand out and pats her hair, soft laughter escaping her lips. "Let's go Kiryu."

The food really is preserved, the flavors still as good as new. While he normally doesn't like eating breakfast, he should eat since she labeled all of them on days of the week. Even if they are far apart, he has a feeling that she would notice. He takes out one of the labeled containers and puts it inside the microwave.

But, he received an automatic rejection. He does understand why. Whilst he was preparing himself for it, as expected, without Lila. He isn't stable emotionally and his gaze landed in the mirror where his eyes were a deep crimson red. He ought to wear a hat until it goes away.

Sure, enough when Kiryu follows the source of the music. He finds himself at a familiar park and standing right in front of the large tree.
"Sumire-san."
"Oh, my, it's you Kiryu-kun."
He immediately wraps his jacket around her and the older woman laughs, "Such a courteous gentleman. Though, Lila-chan would get jealous if you do this."
"Please, Lila would lecture me more for not helping you." he trails off and spots the bundle beside her fast asleep. "I'm sure Lila would have liked to see her, her new sister."
Sumire chuckles. "Indeed, I was surprised too. I didn't think I was pregnant until last month."

Before he could say anything else, he hears a rustling sound and finds his sensei standing there with a frown on his face.

Kiryu proceeds to leave when Yuhi-sensei calls out to him.
