'Was Kiryu always this possessive?' didn't know whether that was the right word to use. Haruka didn't know what to say but Kiryu continued.
"If it were me, I would sacrifice everything, even the world for her." Kiryu mumbled. "Hey, Haruka. Do you think I understand Lila?"
At that comment he blinked. What is Kiryu trying to get at?
"Well, unlike most people yeah."
Terashima Lila is a complicated person to understand. But among those who do know her, there is somebody who understands Lila far better than

Haruka wanted to say something else but Kiryu ended the call quickly. He looked at his phone with a uneasy expression. What is this strange feeling? Why does he think something will go wrong?
He shook his head. 'If Kiryu does go crazy, then I have people there who could stop him.' Though asking Rikka of all people to help him was sly of him. He contacted her reluctantly despite what happened before they left.
She was a lot calmer than the last time they met. Rikka didn't bring up what happened last time and simply told him that she would help him out.
'I have to sort things with her. When I return to Japan, the first thing I will do is deal with Rikka.' Haruka doesn't want her to misunderstand anymore and think she stands a chance with him.
Haruka quickly exit the balcony area and returned to the room. He noticed Lila wasn't there and frowned. He quickly left the room and made his way down the stairs.
He spotted his wife by the door, she was putting her shoes on.
Lila had changed into a lilac sweatshirt and sky blue coloured denim trousers. She had her hair tied up in a high ponytail. "Going somewhere?" Haruka asked."
"Ah! Just to the grocery store."
Haruka grabbed "Stay here."
Lila looked at him blankly.
Haruka wrapped his arms around her waist and brought his lips to her neck. "I'm hungry."
Lila laughed softly. "I see, okay then."
For the first time he has to force himself to drink when he isn't hungry. But he needs to keep Lila here. 'This is the most stupid think I have ever thought of.' Haruka took a deep breath before he slowly bites her neck.
Haruka has always denied his hanyou side. But whenever he got the chance to drink her blood, Haruka liked it far more than he thought.
"Haruka..."
He scooped her up on his arms and nuzzled his face against her neck. "Sorry, drank too much."
"No, it's okay. It's not like you, did something happen?"
"Nothing."
He walked across the hallway and carried Lila upstairs. Once he reached the room, Haruka paused. "Do you want to take a bath together?"
Her eyes heightened at his words and he chuckled. "Alright, let's take one."
To his surprise Lila shook her head. "No, it's okay. I will take one later."
"Let me see."
Lila frantically shook her head. "I'm okay!"
'She is turning red again.' Lately, she keeps doing that. Why is she getting so embarrassed when he hasn't done anything to her yet? Haruka ran his hands through his hair. "Then I will take one, see you in a bit." He kissed her lips.
Haruka turned to leave but he heard her approaching footsteps. Lila buried her face in his back. "Wait, wait, wait."
"What?"
"Uh don't get me wrong, I am not deliberately avoiding you. Despite what I said, I trust you not to break your promise."
"Then.."
Lila turned redder. "Uh, the bruises look quite bad. I don't want you to see me when I'm ugly."
"...Scars won't make you ugly. Let me see."
She shook her head. "You won't like it."
Haruka lifted her shirt up and he saw a dark coloured bruise and frowned. 'When did she get these?' "W--ait, really, don't look." Lila mumbled.
"No." Haruka refused and slowly raised her shirt.
When he saw the rest of it, Haruka immediately got up but Lila grabbed hold of his hand. "Wait, hubby. Um, alright you can touch me so don't go anywhere."
Haruka sighed when he heard that.
Does she think that's all he wants?
He reached over and flicked her forehead.
"Take a bath without me."
Lila shook her head. "No uh, it's okay. I'm sorry.
He doesn't like it when she makes that complicated face. He pulled her into his arms. "You get changed into more comfortable clothes and take a bath later."
"These clothes are okay." Lila played with his hands. "But okay, I will wait here for you."

The moment he entered the shower, a relieved sigh escaped his lips. He doesn't jump on her anymore because of that promise. But the reality was he was having a very hard time.
His wife is very beautiful and she gets prettier and prettier as each day passes by. Perhaps it was due to the different atmosphere, but she no longer looks as pale as before. She has gained weight and looks very healthy room it makes him wonder exactly what was it that made her unwell.
'I think I have a vague idea--' It was the stress from the environment. The stress from the people around her. Lila would never admit it, but the concern from other people was a burden to her. Her friends must have advised her and said so many things about him to the point it stressed her out.
Haruka didn't want Lila to have a bad relationship with anyone because of him. That's why he urged her to fix things with Iwa Kasumi and the other Goddess four members. But Lila told him it was fine, and that she would stay by his side instead.
It always surprised Haruka whenever she chose him over her friends and family. 'Am I that important to her?' It was a stupid question.
He was obviously more important. Lila already proved that to him when she left Austin Kiryu for his sake.
It still bothered him though, Lila cares for him this much. What will happen if Zane gets to him?
Haruka knew Zane wouldn't leave him alone. Ever since he accepted that man's help, Haruka knew something like this would happen. Zane will never let anybody who was on his side betray him. People who betray him will get punished. 'I just happen to be one of his favourites.' Haruka sighed at the thought. He already saw what happened to the rare people that betrayed Zane. What will happen to him?
When he decided to act as a spy, Haruka already knew what the consequences would be. But, that was fine. 'I didn't value my life then.' It's still the same now, however his only problem was Lila.
Her feelings for him are stronger than he thought.
This should be a good thing and yet if that scenario happened where something ad happens to him. Lila would fall apart. Haruka used to think that it was okay. It's okay if something terrible happened to him since Lila would have Kiryu. But the situation has changed drastically since that time.
