Erza stood up and flashed her whole body with yellow light as requips into a unique attire.
This armour is a beautiful Japanese/Chinese attire reminiscent of a revealing kimono. It consists of a short sleeveless tunic decorated with many flower motifs, which has revealing openings on the sides and front, exposing much of Erza's chest.
These openings are held closed by a large, dark obi, which has a thin red rope tied around it, sporting a wide closing ribbon on the back. What also closes the openings of this armour is a lighter and smaller white belt, which is wrapped around a pink, flower-patterned cloth circling Erza's waist on the back and the sides.
On the front, her groin is covered by a long cloth hanging down from her tunic, while the back is circled by another one, almost reaching down to her knees, possessing jagged edges.
Another cloth is also hanging down from the sides, held closed by the ribbon on her back. This cloth has a yellow border and is folded to the outside and split into multiple edges at the middle of the cloth, pointing away from Erza's body.
Erza's legs are covered by light stockings reaching up to her thighs, and her feet have simple sandals.
Erza : I don't know the whole story of what he went through but i know that light still dwells within Jellal.
Erza finishing her dialogue, she quickly runs up to Midnight and slashes him with her spear, though it is deflected, undeterred, Erza swings her spear once more, though the same outcome is reached as her spear misses again.
Midnight's superiority doesn't last, however, as Erza immediately follows up her swing with a swift punch to Midnight's chest, sending the Dark Mage flying.
While Midnight is on the ground, Erza announces that she has discovered the two great weaknesses of Midnight's Magic.
Erza : 1. you cannot distort human bodies the same way you can distort objects and Magic, if you could distort human bodies, you would have targeted my body instead of my armour.
Midnight : But it's useless info if i can strangle you with your own clothing.
He started twisting Erza's Robe of Yūen around her however at this moment, a myriad of swords appears above Midnight and rains down upon him, successfully hitting their target.
Erza : 2. a while ago, while you were twisting my armour, you dodged my sword normally instead of deflecting it.
Erza : This means you can only target one thing at a time.
Midnight's hold around Erza is loosened as she breaks free of his Reflector, stating that her armour is made of an elastic material that renders his Magic useless against her.
Erza : Oh, that would be the 3rd one...
Midnight : Hahahaha, then does it matter??? If i had been quicker, then she wouldn't have to face the terror that is to come.
Midnight : When the clock strikes midnight, my distortive powers reach their peak.
Midnight begins to transform into a grotesque monster before he follows and attacks her with a black wave of Darkness Magic, blowing her away.
Following up this assault, several of Midnight's tentacles go forth and stab Jellal and Erza, severely wounding Jellal in the process.
Midnight : I hope that you will not to die too quickly, as the fun is only just beginning.
Erza : It will be better if you look again!!
From the body of Erza, flash after flash appeared shredding the tentacles in pieces revealing her Robe in one piece as it's elastic was strong enough to resist being pierced through but still caused her a bit of pain...
