For hours upon hours, Yoona didn't get a single call from Eunha.

She was curious what the outcome of the confrontation would be, but the short haired girl wasn't sparing the details. Therefore, Yoona waited impatiently for any response. For them to be talking for so long, what could've happened?

She sat in her room trying to distract herself, browsing through her phone and watching dramas. The time would come. She had to be patient.

After a long wait, her phone finally buzzed against her desk. She quickly grabbed it with her hands and the screen lit brightly.

At first she was disappointed to see the message being short, but once she read the contents, she freaked out.

Eunha: He kissed me.

After a few seconds of hyperventilating, another message came.

Eunha: I'll tell you later. Right now, we are on a date!

My god. What an escalation. Clearly something happened last night and Yoona was right. This was big news. In fact, this whole situation was drastically turning all their friendship to another level.

There was so many emotions running in her chest from excitement, disbelief, to worry. Was this a dream? For a moment, she even thought that Eunha was playing with her and saying a joke. However, the moment of 'I fooled you!' never came.

By the time reality hit, all she could do was wish luck to her two friends. They deserved some love in their lives and both were the greatest people in her life.

But damn, it felt weird seeing this happen so quickly. It took her and Minhyun ages to get together and have their first kiss, yet for Lucas and Eunha it came so easily. Besides, they were clearly fighting like cats and dogs yesterday! What a development.

Yoona couldn't wait to get the full details.

---

For the next few days, the atmosphere in the office was different and not as bad as Yoona thought it would be. On the day that she found out her friends were both interested in each other, she worried about being third-wheeled.

Sure she had a boyfriend, but it would be weird hanging out with a potential couple. Not only that, but a break up would tear things apart.

Little did she know that this whole situation would light up their conversations.

She had never seen Eunha and Lucas talk so happily before. And both had the largest smiles on their faces.

There were times when they would flirt or look at each other teasingly, but overall, they didn't make it too obvious. It was nice to see. Work was so much easier with them getting along. They were able to create the presentation quicker without many issues arising.

The two, however, weren't dating yet. They were in the phase of "getting to know each other". Plus, they decided to take the focus off of dating and more towards Lucas's career and work. After getting the ball rolling, then they would really focus on themselves.

It was great to see them prioritizing work over love.

After all, the timing of their relationship was at the most hectic part of Lucas's career. This week, they really needed to focus on the presentation that confirmed Lucas's business timeline.

If they could make this go smoothly, then they would be able to proceed with Lucas's restaurant and the marketing plan that they have. Therefore, a lot of stress was put onto Yoona who took on the role as the presenter.

The presentation itself was going to be performed in front of Kihyun, the Head of MH foods and some other managers that worked under him. Since Minhyun was way too high up in the ladder, he would not be taking part in the process.

Yoona was happy he wasn't - it was a tad bit embarrassing doing a business presentation in front of her boyfriend/boss. Way more stress too.

"Do you have everything ready," Lucas asked. They were going to be presenting in an hour so everything had to be perfect.

Yoona nodded.

The content itself was ready. The problem was herself. She was freaking out.

Usually she was good at presentation and speaking in front of people, but this would be the first presentation of her work career. The work place was different from university. In school all she had to care about was marks. Here, It was all about the outcome.

Plus, she needed to do well for Lucas's sake too.

Yoona was confident in her content but that didn't mean she wasn't feeling nauseous from being nervous. What if she couldn't answer a question? Struggled to speak? Forgot what to say? That would be horrifying!

Lucas stared at her for a moment before patting her back. "Just make sure to not throw up."

Was her distress that evident on her face?

She raised her hand. "I'll try not too."

Eunha's ears perked up. "Yeah don't worry about it. Kihyun is really nice remember? Our presentation is great from what I can see. He's going to approve guaranteed."

Yoona weakly nodded. Even if he was nice, this Kihyun dude was still their boss. It didn't guarantee that their idea was going to be liked.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom," she said with a groan.

The two looked at her with worry, but did not stop her when she walked out.

Yoona knew she was going to do fine, she just needed a little bit of space.

Her head was down and her hands were clenched as she walked down the hallways. However, since she wasn't focusing on her surroundings, she bumped into something hard.

All she could see was a pair of classy shoes. It was a man.

A pair of hands grabbed the side of her arms. "Woah, are you okay?"

"Sorry," she said with a nervous laugh.

"It's alright. You should watch out though. You can hurt yourself."

Feeling slightly embarrassed, she carefully lifted her head up to make eye-contact with whoever was speaking to her. What he was saying was true. She really needed to pay more attention.

"Alright, thank-"

And then a gasp escaped her lips. Dear Lord.
