"This time, the target is extremely skilled. We will need to spend a huge amount of effort to get him, but I know we can. All the data we have on him is present in front of you. We will first lure him out by removing his article from the site. He will surely come back to put it back up, and then we will get him. No. 4 will initiate, and when the fish is hooked, everyone will start pulling the string together."

Each and every one of them was an existence that could take down a whole country through their cyber-attacks, if given enough resources.
Though they could work from their rooms or offices, Mr. Ma has a policy that whenever there is a big task, everyone will work together in a single place. This way, they could coordinate with each other better, and their efficiency would be improved.
There were a total of 13 members in this team. They each had a numerical code given to them, and when they worked here, they would be called by that code name.
"Okay, I have started to remove the article from the site... The article is removed... Waiting for the attacker to come... " No. 4 reported each and everything that he did to let others get ready.
Mr. Ma looked at the data stream on the main screen and suddenly said,
"Okay, he is here. Do what you are best at. Get this fish out of the water, and let me see who it is."
It was then the furious typing noise of the keyboards echoed inside the room.

Qing was doing her work as Fu Yan instructed her, and when the article was taken down from a site, she would hack it again and post the article back. Sometimes in between, she would be attacked, and another party would try to track her, but given her superior control, she was able to lose them quickly and easily. The other party continuously tried to track her IP address, but Qing was always a step ahead of them. But a while ago, the other party stopped. Qing reported this situation to Fu Yan.
"Did they stop because they came to understand that they can't track us, or is it something else?" Fu Yan thought while looking at the data Qing provided.
"They were from the cyber police, so it's not possible that they have stopped, just because they can't track us. It's more like one team gave up, and another team is taking over. Well, that's what it must be."
He sighed and then said.
"Qing! Be vigilant. I think they will start attacking again very soon, and this time their efforts to track you might be more effective than before. Stay on guard, and report any anomaly you find."
"Ok big Brother. Qing will do so." Qing replied in an emotionless tone.
30 minutes passed, and no one tried to stop them. Now Fu Yan was pretty sure that someone else was taking control of the situation.
While he was thinking this, Qing's voice sounded in the room.
"Big brother, the article has been removed from a site. Should I add it again?"
Fu Yan thought for a while and then gave his affirmation.
"Okay, add it again, but stay on guard. Since they moved again now, then they are ready to catch us. Prepare the bot-nets first, and then route through 100 of them to mask our IP. Go in with full caution."
Qing followed Fu Yan's instructions and masked her main IP through 100 different bots that were all from different regions. Some were even foreign. Aside from masking her IP through these bots, she used advanced encryption that Fu Yan had added to her database and encrypted the traffic.
As Fu Yan had thought, the moment Qing re-added the article; she was attacked. Though she was prepared to face the enemies, the attack was too strong, and despite her strong calculation capabilities, she lost 15 bots right off the bat, and the other side was still actively attacking.
"Big Brother, I am being attacked and have lost 15 bots." Qing's voice sounded in the room.
Fu Yan nodded and started to guide her.
Though Qing had strong penetration capabilities, she was still a beginner when it came to defense. She had no data about how to defend and could not handle all this by herself.
Until now, she was only able to stay her ground because of her strong calculation capabilities and advanced technology.
A little time passed, and Qing had lost 12 more bots. She was being pushed back harder and attacks from the other side were getting more robust and stronger, but with Fu Yan guiding her, she started to learn and had started to fight back. Now instead of just backing off and defending, she had started to multitask.
This showed that she was able to use less computing power to do the same task that she did at the start.
She was learning at a monstrous speed and had started to adapt to the attack method of the other party.
Fu Yan nodded when he saw this and continued to give her guidance whenever she needed it. As for how Fu Yan knows about hacking, well, he had read the book on hacking. It was one of the first books that he picked from the Library.
"Big Brother! Should I attack the other party and hack their computers?"
Fu Yan shook his head and said.
"No, don't do that. You just focus on defending for now and try to gather as much data as you can. Improve your database so that it can help you in the future. Also, record all these attack styles and make a profile based on them. I will tell you when to end this battle. Now we will just enjoy it."

Mr. Ma looked at the screen and different data streams. Code was flashing in between, but he did not pay much attention to that.
"Took down the server... found the I… It's another damn bot! Damnit what is this encryption?! We can't lock down the main IP. What's your status, No. 7?" A voice sounded amid the furious typing sound.
"I took down a bot too. You are right. The encryption is too damn strong. I think we need to take down all bots to find out the correct IP address. Let's do that then.I am curious to see who is on the other side of the computer." No. 7 replied.
"Haha, is this hacker really a good one? It's too damn easy to attack him. I have already taken down 5 servers of his. Keep going, he won't have many bots left, because the more he has, the more network lag he will get." Someone said in the room.
Mr. Ma looked at them, talking to each other and making fun of the attacker and smiled.
"Alright, don't take him too easy. Give it your all. I want to know his true face, and I believe you can give me that."
"Yes, sir!" All of them said in unison.
After that, they started to type even faster.
After 15 minutes passed, someone said.
"Is it just me, or it's getting harder to take down the bots now? It's like the difficulty level is rising, just as a videogame or something!"
"You are right. I thought it was just me, but now that you also feel that way, then it is true. What do you think No. 2?"
"Well, I feel as if the opponent is learning as we fight. If it's true, then we have encountered a monster. Also, I feel as if I have seen this penetration method somewhere…." No. 2 replied with a confused expression. After that, he stood up and said, while looking at Mr. Ma.
"Boss, I want to go outside to smoke a little. I need time to think."
Mr. Ma nodded and replied. "Ok, take your time. Freshen your mind."
No. 2 went outside and went towards the smoking area. After reaching there, he took out the cigarette and lit it up.
He took a deep puff and then held the smoke in. After 10 seconds, he exhaled and then started to walk to and fro while thinking.
"I clearly have seen it before, and it was just recently too, but where?. It was not an active attack, but an investigation. Where have I seen it? Where…."
After that, he closed his eyes a little and looked towards the roof. Then suddenly, as if he had remembered something, he crushed the cigarette and hurried towards the computer room.
"Boss, I remember where I have seen this method!" He said with an excited face.
