I cannot believe this.
It took a hell of a lot of effort and embarrassment to my parents (Not really, but it's a hassle) just to introduce my girlfriend and let them accept that I'll be living with her, but I never expected that all those things will be for nothing. I thought I can be finally alone with my beautiful adorable Tiara every night and we can do lovey-dovey stuff together, but for now, it seemed to be impossible.
It is because of the blonde runt that decided to ruin all my plans.
Let me start explaining. Right after we left my parents, Tiara and I immediately carried my things towards Tiara's condo unit. It took us one hour of travel time and one hour of setting my things to a proper place, and we're both exhausted. As we were about to rest, relax, and maybe spoon, we were immediately interrupted by knocks on the door.
"Hiya~" Jeanne waved her hand as soon as I opened the front door. She's well dressed in a glamorous semi-formal blouse and skirt, with sunglasses and straw hat on her head. She's dragging huge luggage which made her look like a tourist who just came back from vacation from Hawaii.
"Wha… what are you doing here?" I glared at her coldly.
When Tiara peeked to see the visitor, she was overjoyed as if she's expecting her in the first place. "Oh! Jecchan! So you accepted my invitation to live in this place too!"
"Right, right~" Jeanne sassily said as she put her hat, her luggage, and all her other things to my hand as if I'm her personal assistant. "It would be practical for me to live here since the school is far away from my house. It took a while for my parents to agree with my decision since they did not want to let go of me. But I said I'll be going home every weekend, so that made them convinced."
This Jeannette Amiella Fontaine von Noctis from the other universe has assumed the existence of our Amy. The Noctis residence, especially aunt Martha was overjoyed to see her 'daughter' one more time. Even though I have explained to them that this Jeanne is different from Amy, they still open-heartedly accepted this version of their sole daughter. It made the hole in their heart filled with joy when they saw her, and I'm pretty sure that Jeanne is happy to meet another version of her parents too. So now they're a complete happy family.
That's just one of the reasons I'm wondering why this blonde runt is moving to our place.
"You should go back. Your new parents will miss you." I said.
"As I said, they already gave their approval. I'll be living with Tiara from now on." Jeanne had this bitchy smug on her face. "Oh, are you jealous that I might steal Tiara from you? Don't worry, I'm very much best friends with Tiara in my universe."
"That's not it," I said coldly. "Go away and get lost. Don't go third-wheeling here. Maybe you should try bothering Helena and Lironeo on their love house, but not here."
"Rikkun!" Tiara grabbed my wrist. "I invited her here! It will be okay! Besides, we're the only ones she can depend on! We are her tour guide in this universe!"
"You heard your girlfriend," Jeanne said like a sassy bitch as she started to trespass in this condo unit. She immediately sat on the sofa and rested her feet on the glass table as if she's a queen. When she noticed that I'm still standing near the front door and not doing anything, this blonde runt started to act like a goddess. "Alaric, what are you doing? Set up my things. I want my clothes to be put on a decent cabinet. Don't forget to spray some odor cleanser on it."
I actually prefer Amy than this Jeanne. Their bitchiness is quite the same, but this one is more annoying to me.

This Sunday night, we are all exhausted for moving in so we just ordered pizza for our dinner. I set up the TV to play some Disney movies and I also cooked some cheesy fries for us to have as an after-meal snack (After-meal snack is the idea of Tiara because she can't get stuffed at all). We're planning to watch movies until midnight but somehow, the atmosphere slightly changed when Tiara asked Jeanne about herself.
"H-Hey, Jecchan… What was the other universe to be like? Are there alien zombies and dragons?"
"Hmm?" Jeanne held her chin. "My universe is pretty much the same as yours. Actually, everything here is a perfect copy. The people, the school, the house, even the cities. It's all the same."
"So, are there zombie aliens and dragons?" Tiara continued to ask like an idiot.
Thankfully, Jeanne ignored my girlfriend's dumb question. However, she started to succumb in deep thought, her eyes lifeless and filled with sorrow.
"Seeing things normal in this universe makes it feel like everything happened to me was a dream. No, a nightmare. Whenever I close my eyes, I can see my homeworld being destroyed by the ultimate evil."
I stopped sipping on my cola to lessen the noise. I want to hear Jeanne's whole story about what happened to her universe, how it was destroyed, and who destroyed it. I didn't have to ask. She spilled the beans.
"That Hades… he must be stopped. I don't know where he is right now, or what kind of body he uses at this moment, but I'm sure he'll be coming to shatter this universe too. He took everything from me. He will take everything from you too."
"Hades was the one we confronted back in Hell, right?" I asked. "That one Aeternos dunked to the ground before we escaped."
"Yes, that's him," Jeanne said. "There is only one God Core of Hades in all multiverses so I can't be mistaken."
"I think I'll be able to beat him." I made an arrogant smile. "My \u003cAethernus\u003e is invincible."
I have defeated Lord Hades two times already. The first one is a one-hit K.O. I made back in the Phoenix Incident, and the other was made by Aeternos when we escaped hell. I'm pretty sure I can do it the third time.
However, there is a sign on Jeanne's face that she's not convinced. She had this frown on her face that even the happy fairytale song playing in the background cannot erase. She looks a little bit traumatized and terrified, and her body is shaking.
"That is not his full power," Jeanne said. "He has a more ferocious side that he refuses to reveal. I know he let us escape from Hell. No matter how I think of it, it seems like every move we take is a part of his plan."
The way Jeanne said it gave a chill down on my spine. I remembered that Hades locked Aeternos inside the Underworld Prison. He knew how to contain him. I'm pretty sure he knows Aeternos' true identity. He knew about my future self.
If we talk about power scaling, Hades is pretty much average. I bet Tiara's \u003cDemigoddess Mode\u003e can defeat him, more so with my Aether Armor. We've faced more terrifying enemies than a God of the Underworld. But for Jeanne to be slightly a little bit unconfident, given how smart as she is, it's quite troubling.
And it makes me terrified that we know little to nothing about this unknown enemy.
"J-Jecchan, cheer up!" Tiara pumped her fists energetically to lighten up the mood. "Everything will be alright! Once the God Cores are ready, I will be able to sing the \u003cSong of Salvation\u003e! I will wish your universe to be restored and have that Hades bad guy purified!"
Jeanne finally made a slight smile on her face. Her purple eyes retained its twinkling glow as if hope has repossessed her heart.
"If it is the song of the Frozen Soul, then I guess I can count on that, Tiara," Jeanne said. "The Frozen Soul is the most powerful being after all."
"Yeah!" Tiara cheered. "So just wait! With determination, we will never give up!"
It gave a smile on my face that Tiara's outstanding aura of light cheered Jeanne immediately. It's like not even despair itself can defeat the woman who once became the Frozen Soul.
Yawn. I'm a little bit tired because I'm in charge of the heavy labor of moving our things in this condo unit. I stood up and stretched my hand, preparing myself to bed.
"I'll go to sleep now." I yawned again. I was about to go to the sole bedroom of this unit until I realized that it can only fit two people.
"Oh, Alaric," Jeanne said. "You're going to sleep on this couch." She tapped the cushiony sit she's sitting.
"What!?" Her arrogant command made me revitalized.
"You know that the bedroom can only fit two people, right?" Jeanne said. "Unless you want to sleep together with two girls in the same room… You pervert."
"Why won't YOU sleep on the couch?" I reasoned out. Then I whispered to myself that only I can hear. "Let me sleep with my girlfriend alone, dammit."
