The presence and limitless energy flowing around it are definitely the same as the Heavenly Blade of Eternity \u003cFrosthalia\u003e. Just seeing that dark obsidian sword from afar is enough for me to tremble. Now that the Frozen Soul is the Heavenly Blade of Eternity, I can no longer draw it from Tiara's heart. I don't know if \u003cAethernus\u003e can withstand the attack of that sword either.
"Don't be fazed!" Helena shouted like a real shogun in a war. She gripped her sword tight and pumped her own resolve. "That guy only has a sword. We have a thousand!"
"\u003cEndless Forge\u003e!!!" Hephaestus clasped his hand and several portals materialized that surrounded Hades and Esperia. Each of the portals unleashed hundreds of swords towards their target.
"I may only have a sword, but don't be mistaken. This is the very sword that will end your lives." Hades stabbed his obsidian blade on the floor once again, and shadow wind materialized. The shadow wind whipped out each and every flying sword that tried to hit them.
Soon, the shadow wind slapped the portals out of existence. Lord Hephaestus' attack was rendered useless because of just a fragment of the power of that Heavenly Blade.
"That's just a distraction!" Helena cried as we soon realized that she already leaped forward. Her buster sword is charged with electricity and she aimed to smash it to the enemy's head! "\u003cThunder Wheel\u003e!!!"
"Helena, don't!" Jeanne cried as that's the only thing she can do. She's still restrained by the \u003cUnderworld Chains\u003e which pinned her on the ground.
Jeanne's warning is a little too late. The moment Hades pulled his sword from the ground, a single shadow whip emerged from the blade and made a swift flick towards the charging swordswoman. Helena landed to the ground, failing to hit her target.
"What…" Helena muttered, her eyes opened wide. "What happened…"
"\u003cEliminate\u003e" Hades muttered. In an instant, Helena's body was converted to ashes. It all happened so fast that the poor kendo champion never realized what really was happening.
"Shit!" I cried out loud as I tightened the grip on my sword. I want to do something about that enemy but I'm in charge of defending Tiara. I need to think for a battle tactic fast, or else my allies would be annihilated!
"\u003cFreezing Missile\u003e!!! \u003cPyro Twirl\u003e!!! \u003cTri-Fire Ballista\u003e!!!"
Kristoff unleashed an icicle arrow, a fire tornado drill, and a projectile that has three fire orbs rotating around it. All those arrows are aimed at Hades.
Hades stepped forward and began to walk. He looks so confident that he is planning to catch those attacks head-on. When the arrows are about two meters away, the black wind appeared once again and erased the projectiles from existence.
This will not do! I can't let them spend their lives with this! I have to be in the frontlines!
"Everyone, defensive positions!" I shouted out as I surged forward with the boosters of my awesome armor. "Protect Tiara at all cost! I'll take Hades!"
"Roger!" The remaining Aether Crusade answered. Lord Hephaestus, Kristoff, and Naomi circled the restrained Tiara.
"Oh," Hades said with a mocking tone. I'm pretty sure he is smiling behind that skull mask of his. "You're sick of seeing your allies die, Alaric Eisenhower?"
"I'll never be sick watching you die." I swung my katana to the right and then I prepared my battle stance.
There are about ten meters in distance, but Hades swung the Heavenly Blade \u003cCataclysor\u003e to my direction. The shadow wind followed and rushed towards me. I formed an X-arm pattern to defend myself in case that the Aether Armor shatters. However, it seems that my \u003cAethernus\u003e is not affected by such an attack. The shadow wind was immediately dissolved the moment it touched my armor.
"I knew it. You're still being protected by the Frozen Soul." Hades said with slight disappointment on his tone.
"Heh!" I uttered an arrogant laugh. "That just means I'm invincible and you have no way in defeating me! You may be a god with a Heavenly Blade, but you can still die. How about surrendering right here and now and let Tiara sing the \u003cSong of Salvation\u003e?"
I'm surprisingly forgiving as of this moment. I don't want anger to dominate me as I don't want to become Aeternos or Cursed Cthulhu. I'm just confident enough that we can bring everyone who died once Tiara started the song. \u003cAethernus\u003e can only be destroyed by the Frozen Soul, and nothing else.
"No can do, Alaric Eisenhower." Hades laughed. "It might be true that we have no way in defeating Aeternos, but that doesn't mean that we can't win this fight. Your universe, along with all the universes I've destroyed, will have the same fate."
"Suit yourself then!" I shouted out loud as I spread my sword forward. "\u003cGod Fragment: Cthulhu\u003e!!!"
Tentacles spawned from the hilt of my katana and covered my blade. This buffed my weapon with otherwordly elements that ignore reality and logic. With this, I might match the power of the enemy's Heavenly Blade.
"Haaaah!" I swing my sword to the right.
"Kuryah!" Hades made the very same swing, and he parried my sword. Shadow wind followed his blade, and it whipped my helmet, right shoulder, and left leg. "\u003cEliminate\u003e!!!"
A dark explosion emerged. However, the Heavenly Blade of Destruction cannot destroy or even make a dent on my armor. All his attack is futile.
"\u003cGod Fragment: Mercury, Zeus, Athena\u003e!!!" I shouted. Wings sprouted on the hilt of my sword, and the blade is now buffed with electricity. With this power-up, I made seven blinding slashes in the enemy's body which ripped his dark coat and boney armor. Combining the speed of Mercury and Zeus made him unable to block any of my quick slashes. Blood gushed out from the wounds of the God of Underworld.
"Gah!" Hades coughed out blood that burst inside his skull helmet.
With a final attack of my combo, I stabbed my katana to the center of Hades, aiming his heart. In an instant, my katana transformed into a cybernetic cannon that unleashed a bluish-white laser.
Boom! A pillar of light spawned from my blade and it went through the heart of Hades. It also pierced his back and the laser reached the skies.
"Graaaagh!!!" Hades fell down on his knees, stabbing his Heavenly Blade to the ground as support. Blood endlessly oozed from his wounds like a punctured box of milk.
"This is the third time we've faced, and you lost again," I announced as I raised my blade, ready to chop the kneeling god's head.
"Yes… I lost the battle…" Hades coughed as he spoke. "But I won the war…"

I was slightly distracted when I heard barrages of explosions, shouts, and grunts about twenty meters away from me. Kristoff, Naomi, and Lord Hephaestus are busy battling the white flower witch. From a distance, I can clearly see that Esperia now has a melted left face, burnt right arm, left arm pierced with swords, left leg full of arrows, and stomach filled with holes. I'm pretty sure that the girl's brain and heart have been destroyed, but for some reason, she is still standing and has this demonic smile on her face.
"Damn it! Why won't she die!" Kristoff cried.
"\u003cOlympus Smash\u003e!!!" Hephaestus jumped forward and smacked the zombie Esperia with his axes into three huge chunks of flesh. Blood splattered all around, and it stained the body of the God of Smithing.
"Lord Hephaestus, get out of there!" Naomi cried.
It was too late, as the slabs of meat immediately converted itself to a black gooey substance that spawned hundreds of hands. The hands restrained the macho god's movement.
"Graaaaaaaaaaah!!!" Hephaestus cried as he tried to brute force out of the molesting hands but he can't get free. He tried chopping the hands off, but it would just grow again in a second.

"Ha...Hahaha...Hahaha!!!" Hades laughed as he mustered his remaining strength to stand up.
"Laugh all you want in the afterlife." I coldly said as I brought down my blade to the God of the Underworld's neck.

A loud clank of metal echoed. My blade failed to cut the enemy's throat as he managed to make a swift slash at me. However, thanks to my Aether Armor, that attack is rendered useless. I did not sustain any wound at all, nor a scratch on my magnificent armor.
"Futile," I muttered coldly. "No matter what you do, you can't kill me."
"I'm not planning to kill you, Alaric Eisenhower. I know I won't be able to." Hades talked as if he has recovered his strength. "I know that I cannot take your life, so I took your deaths instead."
To my surprise, the boney armor and the shadow cloak of Hades healed. The skeleton armor started to change shape as it started to get spiky. The skull mask started to reshape itself like those of a skull of a dragon with two looping horns.
At the forehead of the dragon-skull helmet, a third eye popped open. And this third eye has this terrifying glare as it contains layers of colors that looked like a rainbow.
Hades whispered which gave the coldest chill in my spine.
