Selena was in her room; her hands were both busy hiding all the dress she had.
Kirby sent her a message that he will come later and help her choose a dress for her birthday. She already made a plan on how to get his attention. Even though tomorrow will be her birthday, it's also the company's anniversary. Evan promised her that he will introduce her to all the employees.
She was so excited for tomorrow. She giggled and lay her body on the bed.
A knocked on the door took her back to reality. With a heavy foot, she stood up and opened it.
She sighed and plastered a pissed off expression. When she lifted her head, her face went blank while her hand slammed the door closed.
Her eyes widened as she run back to her bed, she grabbed the blanket and covered her whole body.
"oh! my gosh!!! ghost!!!!" she screamed on the top of her lungs.
Underneath the blanket, she saw the door opening and a man figure started walking towards her.
Her skin shivered as she remembered the horror movie she once watched, where the serial killers played with the victims first, before killing them.
Terror flashed in her face when she remembered her uncle Evan.
(Oh my god is uncle Evan dead?) She exclaimed in her mind. Her lower lips trembled and thought of Matthew.
(Nah that man will survive.) she was about to shut her eyes when she heard a familiar voice calling her name.
"Selena, it's me, your daddy Nate" the husky voice rang to her ears. She was only six since the last time she saw him, and she barely remembered his face, only by the pictures.
With her jaw clenched, she uncovered her body. When her body was free, she sighed and opened her eyes.
"Daddy? Are you a ghost?"she asked with a trembling voice. When the man laughed, Selena pressed her lips together while her brows snapped.
Then man shook his head and sat down beside her. He grabbed both of her hand and rain it with kisses.
Then his hand coped her cheeks and place a small kiss on her forehead
"I am alive, and so as Danny and Daniella and the triplets" Nathan laughed when he saw the shocked on her face.
But deep inside, his heart was tightening, he watched her all the time, but he never once touched or kiss her.
Meanwhile, after Selena heard Daniella's name, she stood up and grabbed her father's hand.
"where is she?" she asked while both of her eyes widened. Nathan patted her head and pulled her to hug.
"They are in Evan's room. Don't you have questions?" Nathan was confused by Selena's reaction. He thought the girl will starts questioning him the moment she saw him, but it was opposite.
"You can explain it later daddy Nate. I want to see Daniella" Nathan poker his face. Seems like his daughter was more excited to see Daniella's instead of her father.
When Selena saw the pain in her father's eyes, she hugs him again. Her face lifted and smiled at him.
"daddy Nate, don't be jealous, you and I, we will have a heart to heart talk later" Selena giggled and pulled his father's hand to Evan's room.

The door in the master bedroom slammed opened and tears fell in Selena's eyes, her feet rushed towards the bed.
Her sobs went louder to see her uncle Evan sitting on the bed holding his wife's hand. She sniffed and wiped the tears from her cheeks.
"un-uncle "she spoke in between her sobs. Evan stood up and hug Selena.
"she came back" Evan spoke in a faint voice. He still could feel his nerve shaking and his mind still hasn't processed the situation. When he turned at the man standing by the door. He let Selena go and walked towards him.
"Nate " he called out his name. The man rushed to him and hug him.
"Evan I missed you brother" Nathan said and patted his back. Evan tighten his hug and shut his eyes.
The brother's both exhaled and let each other go.
"Did you explain it to Selena?" He asked. Nathan shook his head and looked at his daughter.
"We will explain everything once our family and Daniella's friend arrived. We prefer to explain it only once" he laughed and lay his arms on Evan's shoulder.
Evan emitted a deep sighed while Selena clung her arms to Nathan's other hand. The three walked out of the room leaving Danny alone.
Danny walked to the bed and caressed his sister's hand.
A faint smile plastered on his lips.
"I am glad that I made the right decision" Danny felt relief with his decision. He lowered his face and placed a small kiss on Daniella's head.
His eyes gloomed with sadness when he checked her pulse, still nothing.
When the adrenaline disappeared, he felt exhausted. Slowly, his body lay next to his sister and snoozed off

Downstairs
Matthew was running back and forth assisting the General. Kirby had arrived and accompanied Selena who didn't stopped talking about her father.
The girl was standing at the back of the couch and excitement made her eyes shines.
Both of her hands were on Kirby's arms and shook it with enthusiasm.
"My daddy Nate is back Kirby. He's alive!!!" she jumped with joy while her voice roared around. Her blood rushed like a river making her body trembled with happiness.
Kirby could see her sparkling eyes. To stop the girl from destroying the floor, he coped her cheeks with both hands and smiled at her.
"Yes, I know. I've seen him. So now calm down" he spoke in a soft voice. Selena nodded and hug him.
Kirby was stunned
Military and strangers were around the place, the whole villa was in chaos, everyone stopped and looked at them, after Selena embraced him.
His eyes widened when he saw the dark shadow around Nathan. He gulped repeatedly and pushed her away
"ok i- I am .—I have work to do" he spoke in stuttered voice and left Selena alone, puzzled.
After Kirby turned his back, Selena shrugged her shoulder and run towards her father
"daddy Nate" she squealed and wrapped her arm to his. The man chuckled and patted her head.
"Can you check on Danny upstairs? Evan was busy talking to the general" Selena nodded obediently and run towards the stairs. She stopped mid-air when Nathan shouted to slow down.
She turned her face and smiled from ear to ear
"Danny Nate. You will not leave again right?" she spoke in a sweet sounding voice. Nathan smile and nodded. After getting his response, Selena went upstairs

As soon as the little girls figure disappeared, Nathan looked around to find Evan and the General standing by the door. As he walked closer, he saw the serious expressions they both have.
He overheard their conversation.
"I already assigned some soldier within the parameters; some air force will be checking if there's choppers coming or anything. I will let you know" Bing said and patted Evan's shoulder.
Evan sighed and turned to his brother. A small smile plastered on his lips
The general followed Evan's eyes. Even his lips smile after seeing Nathan.
"I can't believe you're alive" he spoke and shook Nathan's hand.
The man chuckled and tapped his arm twice, while his other hand accepted his hand.
"I have been watching all of you, and I saw how my brother abused you" he laughed and shook his head after remembering all the help the general did for his brother.
"Evan has been helping us financially. I couldn't complain" he said teasingly and bump Evan's arm with his fist.
Evan smile and turned his eyes outside to see Ken rushing down to his car. He called him earlier and informed him about Daniella. His face went poker when he remembered how rudely Ken hung up the phone before he could even finish his sentence.
The man run towards him with his eyes widened.
"where is she?" he asked.
"masterbed---" his expression flattened when Ken disappeared from his sight and just like the wind, his body rushed upstairs.

"well... remember the chip Kierry was asking at the funeral?" Nathan spoke and jammed his hands in his pocket.
The general's brow raised, after a moment of silence, his eyes narrowed.
"Wait- don't tell me it was you!" Suspicion was on the general voice as he speaks. Nathan chuckled and nodded.
"so, what about the chip" the general asked while his face turned outside after another car parked in front.
