So, how to dispel the character from the paper?

I thought about a few theories:

1) Do it the same way than with a normal paper. I thought about an eraser, as the group said a giant eraser was their main enemy.

2)Write "erase all previous sentences" or a similar thing on it.

3) Mix the paper with water.

We're Saturday so I got a lot of time. I'll write everything that's happening in my logbook, as if it was a serious scientific experiment.

1.1. Erase everything on the paper. Done in about an hour, I didn't let any single piece of paper not erased.

1.2. Try writing a new character. Failure (fuck it actually spilled the ink on my face, gotta wash it).

1.3. and 1.4. I tried to use a bit of tippex, didn't work, no reaction. Actually it was stupid on my side: tippex is essentially putting something on the paper, so you don't write on the paper but on the tippex. My bad. Now I have to scrub all the tippex… Great. This should have been the 3 not the 1.

2. I wrote it. Nothing happened. The ink just stayed on the paper with no reaction. It seems the paper only takes in what's related to the character description. At least I learnt something.

3.1. I mixed the paper with water. I made it liquid like some kind of papier-mâché.

3.2. I molded the liquid into a page. I tried to make it as thin as possible but it is quite hard, so in the end the paper is even tinier than before… It was already one tenth of its size, and it diminished of 20% more… If I succeed I'll have to write only short sentences with a tiny writing ha ha ha! I'll be like Link with his watch. But I won't lose my Death Note like him, my cult will pray to me alive! Strange how a change of position can change someone too… Before I was like a powerless lamb and I was acting all prudent and timid. Now that I am close to hold the world in my hands, I am all cheeky and planning my world domination… I won't be stopped by things such as ethic. Oh, I'm rambling, I should go back to my experiment. Is it dry already?

Took all the day and the night to dry. Maybe I put too much water. The weather is quite cold too so is not really conducive for drying, in the end I put it aside a radiator for the night, it was enough. While I'm thinking about it, it was quite dangerous to do so, what would I do if it burned?

Anyway, there's only one step left, my last idea before I am forced to join the group yet again to infiltrate them to get the recipe. I hope it works. I'd like to keep my independence.

3.3. I tried writing on it. It absorbed statements contradicting the original character, so it seems it was erased.

3.4. Just to be sure, I wrote a sentence contradicting the new character I just wrote. It didn't absorb. Everything seems to be working just fine.
