This is such a heartfelt story, and ended up being really deep; tackling serious issues. The MC is strong, the real “strong” female lead. Usually Chinese storries mistake “strong female lead” as arrogant, to the point of the world owing them something, and Mary-sue (also, their assassins). Not this story, she true strength. Not physically,  but mentally. Confident without being overbearing, enduring, and sure of herself. She know who she is, and she doesn’t need anyone to tell her anything. She would die before she let’s anyone take her dignity, and makes her fell less than. And most importantly, someone needs to add a ‘protect the children’ tag. Lowkey, I’ve read female leads that has done terrible things to characters that were essentially children, and justified it because maybe they were bullying the previous inhabitants of the body or something. As if people ccan’t redeemed, they judge based on some pre-written book. But this MC is such a strong mother figure, I adore it. If they hit her, she will hit then back without going overboard. She will occasionally give them life advice, and she acts like the ADULT she is. In the end, their children, waiting energy being upset is stupid. She is perfectly imperfect, I love her. Someone give this author a medal!
