Noticing that his brother had trailed off, Melting Snow realized quickly that he had screwed up.
He shouldn't have told Frozen Ice about Drifting Cloud buying a farm. Now his brother will think that the man was rich and had some influence outside of the game.
Melting Snow knew that wasn't true, but he didn't want his brother trying to get close to his friend even if it was. Thinking quickly, he knew he needed to salvage this situation soon.
"How do you know farming will be dumb, I think it will be fun. Plus, my friend is going to get tons of cool animals," Melting Snow started distracting his brother before segueing into ridding his brother of his idea.
"Plus, the only reason my friend was able to buy a farm was by saving the coins he got from that special quest in Errinisworth. You should know the one."
"Thanks for reminding me of that. You never did tell me what you got as a reward from it," replied Frozen Ice, wondering if his brother got any rare items from it.
In annoyance, Melting Snow rolled his eyes at the interface screen. He knew exactly what his brother was thinking. It was a little scary how well he knew him, with them being estranged and all. 'Well, we are siblings, after all.'
"Nothing much, just a couple of gold coins. It wasn't a lot. The only thing my friend could buy with them was a very damaged farm.'
Melting Snow hoped that his brother would get the hint and won't try to corrupt his friendship. It already happened once, but he will make sure that it won't happen again.
With just those few words, Frozen Ice's interest with his brother's friend disappeared with the wind, but he became curious about something else.
'Why would someone waste money on damaged property, when they can just save up for a better one. It makes no sense.' deliberated Frozen Ice. 'There have to be something more to it.'
As his brother kept silent, Melting Snow grew worried. He didn't know if he should say something more or not. Why did his brother have to be like this?
Growing impatient, Melting Snow said, "Was this enough of a check-in? I know it's been so long since you last called, but I'm still busy helping my friend right now, you know."
"Yes, we're done, but before I go, I want to remind you that Rose Lily will be coming, so when she calls you, answer her."
"I told you, I don't need her! I have Zixuan to look after me!" Melting, Snow quietly yelled.
"That reminds me," began Frozen Ice, completely ignoring what his brother previously said. "I want you to keep a close eye on Zixuan for me. Tell me what he and his misfits are up too."
This caught Melting Snow off guard. His brother was actually asking him to be near his cousin. Although it was for illicit reasons, it was still a chance for him to be able to spend time with Zixuan without worry.
"Fine, if this is your way of giving me permission to spend more time with Zixuan, I'll take it. Bye." Melting Snow rushed to disconnect the call before his brother could bother him anymore.
'Why must my brother be so freaking stupid. But this way he can't say anything when I join Zixuan's guild. He did want information after all, and the best way to get it is, of course, by infiltration.' Melting Snow snickered mischievously.

Frozen ice gritted his teeth at his brother's insolence, "How dare he hang up on me!"
Angrily closing his interface, he had a very strong urge to log out of this game and shake some sense into his brother. He should do it, and teach that little brat who is in charge around here.
"Don't be upset, sweetie," Rose Lily said while sauntering up to him and wrapping her arms around his neck.
She had been silently listening to their conversation for a while, and the only thing she felt was elation. 'Frozen Ice finally did something useful, by telling that brat to stay close to her Zixuan.'
Rose Lily was glad that she suggested following the boy because it paid off big time. She needed to be close to the boy to watch him, and by proxy, she can get close to her love.
First, she needed to calm down this imbecile before he did something stupid like grounding Melting Snow.
Bringing her body closer to his, she grazes her lips on his collar bone and whispers, "You know how your brother is, but he will always do as you say."
"He better, if he knows what's good for him," Frozen Ice murmurs huskily, heat rushing through his veins as Rose Lily rubs her body against his.
"Don't worry," Rose Lily seductively whispered as she left a trail of hickeys way up to the corner of his mouth. "He will listen to your commands, I will make sure of it."
Losing the last shred of his self-control, Frozen Ice slammed his lips against hers, hard enough to knock all the air from her lungs.
Rose Lily only had a moment to react before he pressed his tongue to the seam of her lips, demanding access. His tongue delved inside of her mouth, plundering the insides as if to swallow her whole.
Tightening her arms around his neck, Rose Lily arched up into his broad chest, moaning in pleasure as their lower bodies rubbed together before she drew back from his lips.
Stopping the man from pulling her back into another intense kiss, she said, "You know there is something we haven't done in this game yet."
"What is that?" Frozen Ice asked, confused as his head was muddled by her luscious scent.
