Thallan called the artist over.

"I want it here." Using the dagger in his hands, Thallan pointed to Lula's sternum.

Lula blushed and turned her head away as the artist came to start his work.

"Don't worry. He won't say a word, this will be our little secret. Plus this spot is closest to your heart and no one will know but us, right?" Lula's nodded her head as her eyes took on a dreamlike state.

Thallan decided to keep his sister-in-law around, it'll be fun to use her to torrent her sister later.

"Where will you..ouch!...put my tattoo...ow!...on you? Ah!" Lula asks while dealing with the pain from her branding.

"I won't be getting your tattoo."

"W-what!?...ow!...Why not?" Lula wanted to cry.

"How can I get your mark put on me when her sister will see my body later on tonight?" Thallan had whispered into Lula's ears.

That's right, today is her sister's wedding and her husband is...that means they will...

Lula felt her heart breaking, she didn't want Kamryn to have him.

Reading the thoughts going through her mind from the emotion on her face, Thallan laughed inside.

"How about this, I will let you choose the spot where your sister's mark will be on my body." Lula's eyes brighten up.

"Okay!"

After Lula's tattoo was finished and the artist cleared away the residue ink from her body, Thallan leaned over to place a kiss on his mark.

"Now your mine."

This was the first intimate touch she had with a male, and she relished the feel of it.

Oh, why couldn't I be the one with him tonight? Lula pouted.

"Come now, let's choose the spot for your sister's mark." Helping her off the table, Thallan wondered where she will choose.

After thinking for a while, Lula came up with the perfect spot.

"I got it."

"Oh, yea. Where?"

"Here." Lula pointed to the bottom of Thallan's boots.

"Heh, are you sure you two are sisters?" He said as he took off his boot and showed the bottom of his foot to the tattoo artist.

"You heard the lady, put the mark here." Once again the artist didn't question or show shock and just tattooed the bottom of Thallan's foot.

Outside, Mika had waited for ten minutes before going back to the window to see what was happening inside the room.

Watching from when Thallan had slice opened the front of Lula's gown to where she picked the placement of his mark, Mika had made sure to record it all.

With this golden opportunity, it would make sense if she didn't take advantage of it.

Thinking she should get back to the wedding before all the food is gone, Mika quietly left the area.

Weaving through all the guests present, Mika made her way to the tables and filled up two plates full of food.

Man, I should have told Saavi to come with me. We could have loaded up more plates. Mika thought as she had to leave behind some dishes that wouldn't fit on her plates.

Sadly, Saavi and Jonas opted to study before school start and miss the wedding.

With no one to socialize with and bored with all the talking. Mika decided to turn in early, plus she wanted to show Saavi her little recording.

In Lyra's private garden, Mano sat thinking over his next move. Lyra has blocked his chess piece from making any moves towards her queen, and now he is stuck.

"Have you been practicing behind my back?" Mano doesn't remember Lyra being this good at this game.

"No, I was always this good. I've just been gooding easy on you for these past years that you think you're a genius at this game." Lyra said before picking up her cup of tea and taking a sip.

"Hmph...I am a genius at this game just wait and see..." Mano ran through many scenarios in his mind, but still, he didn't make his move.

When Mika entered the garden, she saw this scene of her father trying to beat her mother at chess and laughed.

"Dad, you should give up." Coming to their side and looking down at the chessboard, Mika saw that her mother had her father trapped.

"It's not over till I say it's over...!" Moving a pawn to stop her knight from gaining excess to his king, Mano thought this was the best move.

Lyra took one look at the board and smirked.

"Checkmate!"

Mano looked down at the board and realized that though he moved his pawn to stop her knight, it so allowed her bishop to take his King.

"Argh! Mikaela, you distracted me!"

"Sure, blame your cute daughter for your bad chess playing..." Mika sat down at the table, to pour herself a cup of tea.

"The wedding?" Lyra asked.

"Very grand and festive. They just finished their...heh...tattooing." Mika smirked.

"So they went through with it after all... Okay, then I should get started."

Mano called his steward on his wristband.

"Yes, Lord Mano."

"Begin."

"Yes, sir."
