"Everyone! Do not panic! We are in the middle of an astroid field. The Captain and the pilots are navigating us through the problem. Though we received slight damage to our engines, the rest of the fleet are towing us out of the danger zone."

A soldier yelled at the top of his lungs to the hall. As medics and crew helped people off the floor.

"What we need everyone to do, is remain clam. Do not get in the way off the crew and mechanics. We need all our attention on the repairs of the engines."

After he was done, he immediately left. Leaving no one to ask any further questions.

Lila helped those around her, as well as offering to assist the medics.

"At seems not everyone on the ship was woken up." Lila stated to a medics who was rapping a broken arm on a women.

"Yes, when navigating through the field, only this side got hit with little astroids, which made some of the sleeper cells fall and cause engine trouble. Thank you." The medic finish and ran to help the next person.

With the situation pretty much calmed and handled by the crew. Lila went to back to her room.

Do to her sleeper cell falling, she couldn't be put back to sleep. Until put back in its place, and diagnostic check of it's functions are running properly. She'll be staying awake for the time being.

Having nothing else to do. She picked up the calendar in the room to see how much time has past since they put her to sleep.

Two years. Two years had passed. Lila looked the calendar a dozen times over. Making sure her calculations are correct. She lost two years of her life. Two birthdays. Just sleeping.

"Had they not found any planets within these last two years?...Or if they did, would we even know?" Lila didn't know how she felt about sleeper cells anymore, now missing two years of her life.

For the next couple of days those that could be put back to sleep were. While to rest had to wait for the mechanics and technicians to finish the engines before taking a look at their cells. In the mean time Lila and those like her. Who had to stay awake were put to help.

Not only their ship but many ships in the fleet were damage in the astroid field. Because of this the Commander General decided to connect the ships' docking points together. Making one big mothership.

Lila was excited to be able to help on the vassals. Until she found out they only wanted her to count the inventory.

_____

Seven-two days had passed and still they couldn't get the damage ships running at full capacity.

"Are you kidding me! You are supposed to be the smartest in your field. We can not keep going like this. Why haven't you been able to fix the problem?" The Commander General wanted answers. If they stayed like this any longer, they will have to settle for one of the semi-habitable planets they passed.

More people being awake meant more food and water supply being used. Rushing off their world, losing one ship meant less supplies were packed. We needed to get moving.

"Everything should be running fine. We have ran all the tests, repaired the crushed parts. But still the engines won't start....Sir, the problem we are having right now is that we do not know what the problem is. We need time to further asses the situation." One of the head mechanics rushed out the explanation.

"WE DO NOT HAVE TIME! The supplies are already less than what they should be with the extra people awake from their cells. If we continue on like this food supply will be depleted before we reach the next galaxy."

Everyone in the room knew of the bad situation they were in, but no one had a solution.

"What if..." A tiny voice in the back broken the silence. People looked this way and that for the person talking.

"What if, we asked some the young adults to help. Maybe new eyes looking at the issue might see the problem?" a women wearing the technician's uniform said.

"Mmm...that's right. We have a couple of geniuses with us right." He look towards his a secretary for conformation.

"Yes, sir we pacifically passed out three..""Yes, yes I remember." He cut her off before she could finish. "Go, see if anyone of them are awake if not, wake them. At this point we need all the help we can get." Everyone left the room in relief knowing it won't be their problem anymore.

___

Kara had been woken up by the medics and told of the situation the fleet was facing. At first she had no idea why they were telling her this information.

"Shouldn't they tell the technicians this problem. They didn't need to wake me from my sleep." Kara though while receiving a check-up from the medics.

"The crew has updated you three on the situation at hand." Kara sat in the conference room, with two other people. "I'm aware that you all have just woke up. But we need your minds. You three are the best in the physics field. Especially you, Miss Kara if you can find a way to get us back on course. You will be our savior." The Commander General stood up shook their hands before dismissing them from the room.

"Oh! F*** me!" Kara thought, while her face held nothing but smiling confidence.
