"You...you're saying I'm childish?, look who's talking!" Weiwei didn't know what to say anymore, if it was before Shola wouldn't say anything and it would be like talking to a brick wall which was very frustrating but now, she is talking back but rendering Weiwei speechless.
Shola looked at the girl and was just not in the mood to speak to her. She noticed the girl was dressed up like she was going somewhere but, her make up was really too heavy.....
Just when Weiwei was about to explode because of being ignore her phone began to ring, she stared at the Flashing name on the screen 'Kevin'
a sincere smile appeared on her face as she answered the call
"Hey...erm yes I'm ready.....30 minutes?...b..but we agreed yesterday...." Weiwei's expression started turning ugly as she hug up annoyed "the nerve of that guy!" She said through gritted teeth.
Shola couldn't really hide her curiosity as she saw how angry the girl had become "What happened?, boy trouble?"
Weiwei didn't even think twice before she started speaking "That guy, we promised to have our date at the five star restaurant in the capital but now he says that he's changed his mind!"
Weiwei looked at her clenched fists as she said "He said he wanted to come here and taste my cooking, but....but...."
Shola saw that she was hesitating and asked "But what?"
"I lied to him that I know how to cook just to impress him but now....he's going to be here in 30minutes...what do I do?"
Shola stared at the frustrated looking girl and a smile appeared on her face, this was her chance!
"Do you....need help?"
Weiwei finally realized that she was blurting everything out in front of Shola like a little child, her face flushed but as soon as she remembered why she was there in the first place she harrumphed and got up from the couch
"Why would I need your help?"
She was about to walk away but immediately thought of something and halted in her steps, she turned to state at Shola with big innocent green eyes, no trace of the disdain that was there before
"Can....Can you really help me?"
Shola was surprised at how the girl's expression changed so quickly, she nodded her head with a smile as she stared at Weiwei "I can help you in the kitchen but....first if you want me to help you you have to do everything I ask you to!"
Weiwei looked conflicted before she forcefully nodded, this was her fourth boyfriend but her feelings for Kevin were sincere
"Ok, I will do everything you ask"
"Good" Shola nodded as she stared at the girl from head to toe, 'I can totally fix this in time'
Shola almost yelled out loud when she stared at the girl's appearance 'Why was her dress so red and revealing?'
"First of all....your look"
Weiwei was confused as she stared at her clothes
"What's wrong with my look?"
"Who told you wearing so much red on your first date with a guy was a good idea?, your clothes are too revealing and your makeup is too heavy, and what's with those red lips, you look like a vampire who just drank the blood of a goat!"
Shola said everything on her mind in one breath shocking Weiwei, she could finally see the fault in her choice of appearance.
"W...What do I do now?" She asked panicking.
"Don't panic!, if you have a light blue dress that covers your cleavage then go and put it on"
Weiwei nodded as she ran towards her room, Shola stared at the girls back and suddenly remembered something
"And try to apply lighter make-up!" Weiwei nodded her head and went upstairs, Shola couldn't help but whisper to hherself "Young love. ...."
She went into the kitchen limping, she sat on a high bench and got busy.
Weiwei's room was already a mess with clothes by the time she found the dress she was looking for, she used make-up remover to clean her make up and applied a lighter one. When she stared at the mirror she was shocked.
The blue dress really looked nice on her, it complimented her skin and the light make up made her look warm and gentle, she looked really pretty.
That sister in-law of hers really helped her, despite all the insults she still helped her, she was sort of....sort of! beginning to like Shola, maybe her mother was wrong about her?.
