"I found out about her before you did which means I am obviously her god mother" Nina said with hands on her waist, Joanna scoffed and pointed her fingers at Nina
"I am her mother's best friend!"
"So am I!"
Nina and Joanna stared daggers at each other.
A little girl about three to four years walked into the bedroom, her brown hair made into two pig tails, her big dark green eyes scanned the room like she was searching for something, she wore a baby pink dress embroided with yellow flowers,
She had looked like her mother in all ways except for her eyes, her cute little lips curled up when she found what she was looking for
"Teddy!" her beautiful voice rang out as she picked up the stuffed animal and hugged it tightly.
The scene was extremely cute that Joanna felt she was going to puke rainbows.
"My darling Ella, come to god mommy"
The girl raised her eyes to look at both the women standing there,she stared at Joanna who had just called her and looked and Nina who was smiling lovingly at her.
Her mommy always told her not to choose between the two of them or else there will be trouble.
"god mommy!" the girl said walking up to Joanna
Joanna flashed a victory smile at Nina before bending down and setting her cheek for Ella to kiss.
Ella lightly pecked Joanna's cheek making her feel like she had become the richest woman on earth but her expression soon changed when she saw the little girl staring in front of Nina with her hands raised up
'What just happened?, I'm being cheated on!'
Nina raised the girl to her face and Ella planted a kiss on Nina's face as well.
"hmm, we have to face it Joanna. She considers both of us her god mothers"
Nina laughed before putting the girl down, "come on we have to take her to school early or else Shola will end up giving us a loooong lecture like last time"
Joanna laughed and nodded, "lets go".

"Ella's teacher called me, she said Ella was really late today!, care to explain?"
Joanna and Nina laughed nervously, they definitely weren't going to tell her they argued for over an hour about who was the child's god mother.
"Joanna, I don't mind but Nina, I didn't expect this from you I mean, you're the eldest and you are supposed to act like it and Joanna why are you always so childish?, you should always..."
"Oh my God Shola! can you for one day, just one day stop acting like a grandmother!" Nina burst out laughing while Shola glared at Joanna
"hmph!, I do not act like a grand mother.....do I honey?" Ella stared at her mother with her large cute eyes.....and nodded.
"godmommy says mummy is a gramma " Ella giggled a bit while Shola's face was was as black as the bottom of a pot.
She was upset for a while but it seemed her friends' laughing was contagious!
All four of them laughed till their stomachs began to hurt.

"Mr Lu we have gotten the contract with England, they have signed it and they want you to come over to London and check out the new branch if it is to your taste."
Jenner only spoke to him formally because they were in the mist of other board members.
"That's great news!"
"Finally! this is amazing!"
"As expected of our CEO, he got them to agree in just 2 weeks, and they even invited us over!"
"That's right Mr Lu you are amazing"
While everybody was busy kissing ass, Jenner shook her head in pity.
She was pretty sure Nathan didn't hear one single word from all of them.
Their words and voices kept getting louder like they were all trying to be noticed by the CEO.
"Excuse me!" Nathan said coldly as he got up and walked away.
The whole board were not surprised by this, they already knew their boss didn't care about praises but they were still trying over and over again, maybe one day he will finally notice them.

"Nathan don forget to take your pills"
"Hmm" Nathan's eyes were glued to the laptop like Jenner wasn't there.
Jenner was already used to this cold attitude from him, it had become a norm after 4years.
Since the divorce he had been going in and out of the hospital mostly because of lack of sleep or over working himself.
Jenner did try to convince him countless times to take care of his health but he would only nod but won't do anything about it.
Nathan used his work as a distraction to make him forget Shola, he was now working for his father and still taking care of the company.
He had tried many times to find her but she seemed to have disappeared from the face of the earth, frustration drove him back to his father's organization, he had wanted to forget how horrible his father made his childhood by making him work for him, doing things that were illegal, but he needed as as much distractions as he could have, he was scared of going crazy just thinking of her.
" I am going to my father's house today, you can have a week off"
Nathan said as he closed his laptop and grabbed his suit jacket.
"Nathan, you have to stop going there, that man doesn't care for anything other than the money you're making for him"
Jenner said blocking his way.
"At least its better than living with my mother and sitting down drowning in regret " his eyes showed no emotions at all, he held Jenner's shoulders and moved her aside.
"But.....what about going to London?"
"Make a schedule for next week" Nathan said before he walked out.
Jenner had a slight smile on her face when he agreed to go, 'maybe the both of them could meet again'

"Mommy, I'm sleepy" Ella said, her tiny voice made Shola think she was speaking to an angel.
"Come sit, let mommy tell you a story" Shola said as she pointed at her lap.
The little girl rubbed her eyes, walking over to her mother and sitting on her lap.
"What story would you like me to tell you today?"
"Daddy.....tell me about daddy" the little girl had always heard other children speak bout their daddies, she was curious as to why she was different from the other kids
"Honey, I already told you, your daddy is far away, he isn't coming back!"
".....but why?" tears began to fall from Ella's eyes
"No, no honey, don't cry....ok, I'll you just stop crying okay?"
Ella smiled brightly "Thank you mommy!"
She hugged Sholana tightly making her groan in frustration
"Why do you have to be so cute?"
"Ok....my story starts with a boy called Nathan....."
Shola told the most fake story she ever told in her life, her story ended with them living happily ever after
She already had tears rolling down her cheeks, she had tried so hard to distract her self from those butter sweet memories but she couldn't.
She couldn't help but wonder, what was he doing right now?, is he with the woman he loves?, is he happy?, does he even think about her?.
Ella had fallen asleep a long time ago, she carried the girl in her arms and placed her on the bed, she stared at her sleeping face for a while.
If you looked hard enough you could see the resemblance to her father when she smiled or when she's asleep.
Shola kissed her forehead and joined her in bed, " Even without daddy, mommy will take care you the best she can" Shola whispered, she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

"But.....what about going to London?"
"Make a schedule for next week" Nathan said before he walked out.
Jenner had a slight smile on her face when he agreed to go, 'maybe the both of them could meet again'
