The Old madam had already left City S 2years ago, she began to live with her son, which didn't actually end well for her.
Although he promised that he wouldn't tell her husband about what happened between him and Sholana.
Her son has been really distant from her, unlike before he didn't call her mother anymore but old madam, she would be lying if she said she wasn't hurt by his attitude towards her but her pride wouldn't let her tell him that.
Despite the drastic change in her relationship with her children, she didn't regret destroying, yes destroying her son's marriage.
To her, it was a great achievement! although Nathan still didn't pay any attention to Elizabeth, she still believed that he would give in sooner or later.
And as expected, Elizabeth really got tired of waiting, she got frustrated at the fact that the man she had been waiting for all her life was still thinking about that woman he was no longer with, they weren't even close anymore.
Even though he doesn't know the part she played in all this, he was still cold to her, they hardly spoke and if they did it would only be a few words.

Nathan heard his father's words and only nodded, despite the fact that he didn't want to do these things he still did.

"Hahahaha! , you are so good at joking my boy!, you have grown, you are no longer a child but you are acting so stupid, making decisions that will get you killed!" At his last sentence, Old man Lu's voice became extremely cold.
"Lu Mu Chen!, do not think you can back out now!, you will have to finish what you started or else there will be consequences! "
Nathan felt his back drenched in cold sweat, he took a deep breath suppressing all of his fears and raising his head to look his father in his eyes
The man's black eyes were like a black hole, sucking away his confidence.
"I...I I'm leaving the organization, you always taught me to be a man and stay true to my words.
That is what I am doing, I have already made up my mind no matter what you say!"
Nathan turned around and walked away, he left his father's study feeling like a burden has been lifted off his shoulders.
Inside the study the old man let out a sinister laugh
"Mu Chen...too bad, you were so good at your job"

It was obviously Ella making all these noise but the weird part was that, Joanna was joining her

The both of of them pestered Shola till she reached her car and already opening the door to the driver seat
"Mommy, you promised to take me out on weekends!"
Ella puffed up her cheeks to show that she was angry but instead looked extremely adorable
"Yes, mommy you promised us" Joanna said trying to imitate Ella
"Ok, first of all, Joanna when did you even get here?, and I also don't remember promising anything to you.
Ella if you want to go out with mommy today you have to be patient, I have alot of work this morning, try to understand "
Ella shook her head vigorously "A promise is a debt mommy!"
"Ay...Hahahaha, she used your own words against you" Joanna held her stomach laughed, Shola looked at her with an annoyed expression till she stopped laughing.
"Are you done?"
Joanna nodded wiping the tears from her eyes.
"If you want to have ice cream, then fine!, get in lets go.....both of you"
"yes!" Joanna danced a bit before she got in, Shola rolled her eyes at her best friend's behaviour.
She knew that if she didn't accept their request, she would end up not going to the studio today.

Jenner and Nathan were taking a walk, well he was forced to take a walk even though he threatened to fire her
"You can't stay cooped up in your hotel room forever, you need to see the streets of London, it is beautiful!"

her green eyes were sparkling, she looked so cute he couldn't look away, his usual cold look was replaced with warmth
"What is it?" he asked in soft tone
the girl giggled as he spoke, why did he feel like she had a sort of resemblance to him?
"You were staring at the sky, can you fly Mr?" her voice sounded so joyful, she was so cute he couldn't help but laugh and lightly pinch her cheeks.
He suddenly realised something and quickly asked
"Where are your parents?"
"Mommy and god mommy are getting ice cream, so I took a walk "
Nathan smiled at the girl and ruffled her hair "You are really smart, you go back to your mother ok? Don't let her get worried" although he didn't mind spending more time with the girl, he was sure her parents would be worried about her.
The girl nodded and shook Nathan's hand "Nice to meet you Mr" she said before she turned around to leave.

He laughed at his wild imagination, he felt the girl looked like him.

"Sorry I took so long.....eh, why are you smiling?"
Nathan shook his head and took the water from Jenner's hand
"Thank you" his voice wasn't as cold as before, it seemed he was in a good mood.
'Bringing him out wasn't such a bad idea' Jenner thought as she smiled to her self.
"Huh...why is this?" Jenner picked up a pink hair clip with a few yellow flowers on it,
Nathan stared at the hairclip and realised it must have been from the cute girl
"Let me see" Nathan said as he collected the hairclip from Jenner.
He observed it and found a name on it, a smile appeared on his face as he subconsciously said the out loud
"Daniella"
"hmm?" Jenner asked, she heard him say something
"Nothing" Nathan said as he got up and and walked away.
"He is so weird, first he is sad now he is smiling and talking to himself"
Jenner shook her head and tied to catch up to him.

"Don't ever run around like that again you understand?" Shola was almost at the verge of tears when she couldn't find Ella, she and Joanna got confused because she was standing with them just a few minutes ago.
"Sorry mommy" the girl stared at her feet guiltily, all of Shola's anger completely vanished.
"Oh come here my darling, I can't stay mad at you" Shola brought the girl closer to her and tickled her till she stopped frowning

The girl's giggle filled whole house, even Joanna was being tickled as well.

"That's for freeloading!" Shola pounced on Joanna
The trio laughed till they exhausted themselves and fell asleep cuddling each other.
