Chains from the void appeared coiling around the Python like snakes, waking up the beast who had a startled look in it's face.
Seeing the two small insects flying above, it already figured out who it was that disturbed it's sleep. it's gaze immediately locked onto them as a thunderous hiss escaped it's mouth.
The chains locking it broke in almost an instant, as the Python was too strong for them to restrict it too long.
Wang Tao's face turned grim as the Python stared at them with it's pitch-black eyes.
"Run!"
Knowing that the plan was successful, Wang Tao was elated. But in that instant his expression was one of utter disbelief.
The Python crawled at in incredible speeds, almost reaching them in an instant!
"Night Dance, Kiki!"
As soon as his voice fell, Kiki's speed increased ten times as it turned into a shadow that glided through the narrow alleys to escape!
Seeing the two hateful insects that disturbed it's slumber try to run away, the Python was enraged as it's speed increased once more, not losing to that of Kiki's at all.
*bang!* *bang! *bang*
As the Python chased after them through the alleys, it resembled a massive bulldozer that demolished everything in it's way.
"Can you go faster, Kiki?" asked Wang Tao as he peeked behind him, only to find the Python getting closer to them!
"Master, that's impossible! This is the maximum speed i can fly with another person."
Kiki's response caused Wang Tao's face to fall, thousands of thoughts passing through his mind as he was trying to find a way out of this predicament!
The Python was only a few meters away from them causing both of them to tremble in fear as it's disgusting breath and mouth filled with white teethes resembling a chainsaw closed in.
Seeing it's prey so close, the Python hissed in excitement before doing something that left Wang Tao and Kiki slack jawed!
'It jumped! It actually jumped!' cried Wang Tao harshly in his heart
After jumping, the Python's mouth opened wide ready to swallow the both of them alive!
Wang Tao's mind suddenly turned chaotic as countless thoughts filled his mind. His family who held him in his arms when he was little, but died as soon as he reached twelve years old.. , Fire, who he found abandoned in a box in an alley and that girl who helped him escape that gloomy world he was in, yes...that girl who was like a flicker of light inside the darkness that surrounded his entire being.
"Master, it's not over yet!!!"
The scream of a lady could be heard in his mind. Kiki could feel the chaotic emotions he was going through as she screamed loudly in an attempt to wake him up from that trance!
"Ethereal Form!" cried harshly Wang Tao in his mind after he heard her desperate plea.
Yes, how can he give up at this time! If he loses his mind at this time, both of them would die! He still had to find that girl and save Ying Yue and old man Zhang! He could not die yet!!
After Kiki used Ethereal, she turned instantly into a blur entering the dream world before leaving it, allowing her to dodge the Python and let her advance twenty meters ahead of it!

The street immediately turned into a wreck as the ground cracked just like spider webs, leaving the Python into a massive hole.

As soon as they escaped the dream realm and saw the strange actions of the Python, Wang Tao and Kiki chuckled in amusement, all the hard feelings they had were gone.
It might chase them again, but it wouldn't be so easy to catch them anymore! They were just a few hundred more meters from the Goblin Settlements, which means their job was almost done!
'Now's the time to use this..' Wang Tao mumbled to himself before he took out the TypeD Pistol Ying Yue gave him before he left
Aiming at the Python's right eye as it stood in a daze, Wang Tao pressed the trigger!

The chase continued like that as they approached the goblin settlements in the distance.

Alerted, the goblins stopped dancing as all of them picked up their weapons and gathered together in groups with the Elite's in the lead.

Cries of excitement came from the goblins, as their mouths watered at the human carried by the bird.
But in that moment, a humongous creature came rushing straight at them, chasing after those two!
The twin tails of the python descended like the hammer of a god onto the street before smashing into smithereens a group of the goblins.
Seeing their comrades attacked by the creature, it immediately provoked the ire of all the goblin's as they lifted the weapons in their hands before charging at it!
