Feeling his stabbing gaze as he looked at her body just like a beast in heat, the woman's temper which was already bad exploded.
"Fire!" Shouted the woman as she pulled a Pistol from her pouch before firing a shot towards the man.
Followed behind was a rain of bullets fired by the other policemen.
As the torrential rain of bullets fell, the smell of gunpowder inundated the whole area. The passer-by looked at the sight and shook their heads before hurrying to evacuate as if the problem had nothing to do with them while the men that retreated earlier heaved a sigh of relief.
'They should've backed off while they still had the chance..why flaunt yourselves just because you acquired some abilities?'
Such thought passed through everyones heads as they looked at the sight, waiting for the dust to disperse.
"Go clean this mess." said the police officer lady towards a squad of policemen
Not wanting to delay her orders, the policemen quickly approached the place where the group was while keeping their eyes shut because of the dust.
"Boom!"
A fireball exploded in one of the officers face as soon as he approached the place. Without even being able to scream - the policeman fell on the floor with his face burnt to the point it that not even his family would be able to recognize him.
"They're still alive! Retreat, retreat!" shouted the woman as soon as the situation changed.
However..she was too late. The policemen started falling on the floor after being pierced by Ice Spikes and Earth Spikes one after another while the ones watching were stupefied beyonde words, gulping down their salivas as they tried to comprehend the situation.
'They're still alive?'

Hearing the words of the man cold sweat poured down on Wang Tao's back.
'Why do you have to infuriate that woman! Fuck!'
Before he could even react and retreat, he saw the woman pull out a pistol before loudly shouted 'Fire!'.
By instinct, he crouched down on the floor to hug Fire, as if to protect him from the bullet rain that's gonna come.
The thunderous sounds of the shooting screamed violently in his ears, making him tremble in fear as he hugged Fire.
'At least it's gonna be a quick death...' thought to himself in self-pity
But the sudden wave of pain never happened. As if to assure himself, he opened one eye to look at the situation. The men that he thought would drop on the floor one after another full of bullets never happened, but actually they stood in the same place. Sensing his gaze, the leader turned around, showing him his row of white teeth as he gave a reassuring smile.
In front of the men stood a transparent shield made of golden light - which seemingly was the unique ability of one of the men.
"You sure are fierce, woman. Do you really think you can order us, judge us, throw us in jails at the slightest discomfort like in the past?" grinned the man with a playful smile before another [Fireball] formed on his hand as he launched it at the policemen still holding the shields down.
The other two men that had abilities similar, yet different, launched their [Ice Spikes] and [Earth Spikes] as well.
Once the fireball landed on the shield, the metallic one meter long shield melted a hole in the middle before exploding on the policemen's chest, as the smell of burnt flesh reeked the air. The policemen that were close to the man trembled at the sight before vomiting their lunches that they just ate as the burnt smell of flesh waffed through the air.
"Wait! Stop!" screamed the police officer lady at the top of her lungs after seeing the sight of her subordinates killed in front of her, not being able to save them at all.
However, swords and blades don't have eyes. Neither do abilities, once cast, the only result would be total destruction. The Ice Spike and Earth Spikes soon landed on another two shields before without the slightest obstruction passed through and stabbing through the necks of another two policemen.
Fountains of blood splashed from the policemen who had their necks penetrated while the woman's face turned deathly pale. How is this possible?
"You..you..demons, black magicians! Spawns of Satan!" screamed some of the policemen with trembling fear as they looked at the men.
Two younger policemen immediately threw down their weapons before fleeing from the pressuring fear from the men!
It was normal for them to be accused of such. Not a lot of people had experienced what they had in the town. The men were former mercenaries that were arrested after a deal went wrong, thrown into the Silver City's Jail. Once the gates started falling, one of them fell just on the courtyard of the jail where the prisoners were having their free time.
Once the small midgets invaded their territory and started attacking, these criminals immediately went on a killing spree killing no small amount of midgets. However, the goblins were not the only things that came out of the gates. After being lucky enough to get different Skill Books from the monsters, the men escaped through the chaos before wanting to run, just to be stopped at the bridge by the woman.
Of course, they could've just broken through in the beginning, but they wanted to gather a few more men before doing that. As the saying goes, strength lays in numbers.
|Don't worry, woman, we'll have enough time to play with you at a latter date. Now make way, this daddy here doesn't have time to waste with you people." Said the leader as he turned to look at the worsening situation in the city where booming sounds could be heard the whole time.
One of the officers immediately wanted to protest, but was stopped by the woman.
"Go! I won't forget this humiliation, the next time we meet, i'll kill you myself." Said the woman as she gritted her teeth in anger.
Not wanting to waste anymore time, the small group went forward. Seeing this, the men who panicked earlier and retreated in anxiety tried to follow.
'Bang!'
A bullet was shot right into a man's feet by one of the mercenaries who had a pistol in his hand.
"Trash like you should just stay here. One more step and the next bullet will be in your brain."
The man who got his feet shot was trembling in pain as his eyes emitted pure hatred for the man.
"Just go!" said the leader with a frown as he looked at his subordinate doing unnecessary things. These man could still be used as cannon fodder for themselves, right?
Just then, something jumped from the river right in front of the man's feet, surprising him greatly!
'Oak! Oak!'
A toad the size of an infant's head with big round eyes stood looking at the man, emitting small sounds from his mouth.
Out of nowhere, a feet flew straight on the frog's face as it flew a few meters away leaving shoe imprints on it's face.
"Get lost!" said the man with a pissed tone after kicking the frog, before turning around just to see the startled and pale faces of everyone present.
"What's wrong? Why are you looking like that at me?"
However, nobody responded. As the man trailed everyones gazes which were directed at his right leg, he immediately broke into a series of blood curling screams. His perfect right leg that has been trained in the jail for the past few years was nowhere to be seen, cleanly severed from the thigh and down.
The surrounding men clearly saw that as the frog was kicked, it extended it's tongue akin to a sharp blade before severing the leg in a swift hit and pulling the leg with it.
Looking at the frog, the people saw a bloody leg which was wrapped in a layer of tongue.
The frog's eyes formed a pleased look before it threw the leg in the air. A gigantic maw similar to an anaconda opened before swallowing the whole leg inside it's mouth! It's size was clearly just like an infant's head, so after eating it, it's round body took the shape of a leg. After that, the frog skipped clumsily a few times before jumping from the bridge in the water under the shocked gazes of the crowd.
This bloody scene greatly startled Wang Tao as he remained dazed for a few more seconds before turning to look at Fire.
What he saw was that it's eyes turned into sparkling stars similar to that of a small baby seeing a bar of chocolate!
'This glutton!' scolded Wang Tao in his heart, clearly knowing what this little rascal was thinking about
It was at that moment.
'Oak! Oak! Oak!'
Frogs similar to the one from earlier jumped from the water on the bridge before landing everywhere. There were so many of them that they could easily number in the hundreds!
Looking at them, information poured inside Wang Tao's head.
"Brutal Frog, level 1. They use their sharp tongues that can be comparable to swords to kill their targets before swallowing them whole."
Sighing in relief, Wang Tao looked at Fire as he saw it drooling at the sight. For all the people present, the frogs were like devils, but it seems that in Fire's opinion, they were just candies waiting to be collected!
'Candies!' a sudden thought was transmitted in Wang Tao's mind as he looked at Fire, startling him greatly.
"Your contracted beast, Fire, has gained +2 intelligence."
