Chun Hwa’s New Life as Id 12

“Look, Illan! What are we supposed to do if you blow them up so close to us?”

The voice sounded like a young man filled with complaints, and contrary to him, a relaxed and heavy voice responded back. Listening to the voice, it would make one think of a middle-aged man.

“Then what am I supposed to do when the casting time for the spell is long? And, I would have to run really hard if I wanted to place a huge gap between them. I can’t do such a thing. Either way, nobody is hurt. That’s all that matters.”

The voice that responded back to the man this time, was the voice of a bright young girl. That voice began to blame the person name Illan.

“However, Illan. What Grey says is right this time. It was way too close, and we could have been hit with the spell as well!”

Hearing the arguing voices getting closer, Chun Hwa began to laugh. He was finally able to meet some down to earth people. Then, the person named Illan began to speak in a relaxed manner.

“It’s okay. We’re all fine.”

Hiding behind a tree, Chun Hwa was watching them with much emotions.

As the sound of people arguing could be heard, another group of people were coming closer while pushing away the thickets. Among the people who arrived, one was super short, and the other was a woman with a special characteristic towards a certain part of her body.

To begin with, the guy who was short had white facial hair, and an axe attached to his shoulders that was the same height as him. However, this appearance didn’t seem unnatural at all. And, behind him stood a woman who had light green hair, and narrow facial features. Yet, what was most noticeable to the eyes were her pointy ears, protruding out through her hair.

Staring at these 2 unique people, Chun Hwa felt uneasy, but just like Greydrone, he did not feel repulsed. Either way, they were walking on two feet, and they were able to speak. Furthermore, they were in a good relationship with the other group of people as well.

‘Hmm, that short elderly man is a dwarf that’s good with handling metals, and is very skilled with his hands…….And, the lady over there is an elf that mainly lives in a forest, has beautiful features, and is agile. Is that so. And that elf isn’t just a regular elf, but a high elf?’

As if he was reading a book within his head, Chun Hwa had all the information regarding the 2 races.

They were Greydrone’s memories and knowledge. It was also thanks to Greydrone that he was able to understand the language being spoken by this group of people. If he’s able to understand this much, he shouldn’t have any language problems wherever he goes.

The 3 people who were still arguing were genuine humans. One was a middle-aged man holding a staff, the other was a young man with leather armor and a bastard sword attached to his hip, and the last was a cute girl that was near the same age as the young man and was wearing priest robes.

Chun Hwa who was investigating the group, suddenly grew surprised. The elf had turned her head and found him. She stopped the group of people that were arguing, then pointed towards Chun Hwa’s direction. Having their eyes land straight towards his location, Chun Hwa’s face grew red. As they began to run towards him, Chun Hwa turned his back towards the group, and got into an escaping stance. However, he soon realized that there was no point in doing so.

‘These are the humans I was hoping to find.’

Chun Hwa came out from within the trees, and looked embarrassed as the group of people surrounded him. As they stared at each other face to face, the young man with the bastard sword spoke.

“Didn’t think there was anyone out here. Didn’t you get scared from the explosions?”

He had spoken very informally to Chun Hwa, but it may have been because of Chun Hwa’s young look. He wasn’t unhappy with it though, because even in his opinion, the young man in front of him seemed to be a year or two older than him.

“No, I’m fine.”

However, the person named Illan that was standing next to the young man, spoke.

“Hey, Grey. No matter how young someone may look to you, you can’t be talking to them so informally. You need to first ask to be excused. Isn’t that right, strange young person?”

“Chet, Illan. Don’t talk like this is your generation. Who even cares about that kind of stuff nowadays. If someone looks younger than you, you should naturally be allowed to speak to them informally. See. This person has no complaints either.”

However, the middle-aged Illan retorted back with a flushed face.

“Still, to a lady…….”

With those words, the young man named Grey burst into laughter, as Chun Hwa made an intolerable expression.

“A lady you say? Hahahahaha.”

“Sigh.”

Chun Hwa’s sigh was masked by Grey’s laughter.

‘Even in my own country I had to deal with this, and now here……….’

Although Chun Hwa had dealt with this plenty of times in his own country, he could not get used to it. However, it wasn’t completely bad to be misunderstood by the first group of people he met in this new world. This meant that, he looked normal to them, and he didn’t look like a beast or prey. Thinking of everything in a positive light, Chun Hwa quietly said one thing back to the middle-aged man.

“Um, I’m not a lady, but a man.”
