It was more than just a gory satisfaction vampires got from drinking blood. There were deeper meanings, symbolism, and effects that came with drinking blood. And one of that effect was the rejuvenation of a vampire's body. I woke up a few minutes ago, completely weak and incapable of moving any significant part of my body short of crawling around. But fast forward a few minutes later, and I'm able to take slow shaky steps as I brought Nisi back into the tower.
Much like Teluna she was still hurt, but she was healing. When she was kicked out, the knife was dislodged from her shoulder, and at the moment I could see tiny specks of dust moving all over her body and converging on her wound, seeping into her skin as the injury began to knit itself shut at a speed visible to the naked eye.
This was the first time I've ever come in contact with a gnomes healing factor, in fact I did not even know they had one. But with this discovery, I could not help but imagine how formidable gnomes would be on the battlefield if they were a race that participated in conflicts or wars. The ability to constantly heal themselves as long as they're in contact with the earth is nothing short of extraordinary.
They could stretch a fight a lot longer than necessary, and the longer it carries, the weaker their opponents become. On the ground, they would have been absolutely formidable and undefeatable. Alas gnomes did not like violence, this was probably natures way of balancing their extreme power with the earth, as long as any part of their body still touched the earth, this race was immortal.
I placed Nisi beside Teluna who looked like he would be awake any moment now. The swelling on his head had gone down as he too was healing from his injuries at rate too fast to be called normal.....well normal for a human anyway. Oh! The joys of being unsealed.
My legs were still a bit weak and was prone to shaking erratically every few seconds, but I was keeping a steady pace, so this was not too much trouble for me to handle. However I was worried, who were these guys I just killed, and without remorse. I refuse to believe that I might have gotten used to killing people, before today I've only ever killed twice, at least the killings I remember.
The first time it happened so fast, and everything was just a blury haze of claws, fangs, and yellow eyes that even at this moment I was finding it very difficult to remember, the second time almost broke me. But the third to sixth time just happened, and I was not at all bothered by it, not one bit. Something was wrong with me, but since I couldn't tell what it was, I'm not going to bother with it. In the end this could just be my paranoia.
But then there was still a huge elephant in the room, and by elephants I mean the four, well one corpse and three catatonic bodies lying around in my still dingy looking cave. (Need to renovate this stuff as soon as possible.)
I had no idea who this Cornelius Daneaitani guy was, or what he wanted with me, but I was worried because Asha, Xaseah, Asare and even Dwayne were no where to be found. None of them were outside, and unlike the last time I was privileged to open my eyes, my surroundings was devoid of any sort of vampire crowd, it made me wonder where all those vampires from before went to.
The fact that none of them were here, meant that the tower was left defenseless, which meant those idiots just had to walk in and whisk my unresponsive body away. I was angry at such a reckless course of action, but I was also scared. This looked like it was planned, and it was more probable that instead of being reckless, they're lying down, hurt somewhere.....or worse.
Worse was bad, and I really didn't want to think or imagine what worse could mean, because I don't think I could take hearing that Either Xaseah or Asha were hurt, especially Asha. I've grown attached to those women, call it love, devotion, obsession or care, the bottom line is, the fact that they're not here with me has sent my heart racing at a mile a minute.
There was an electric surge within me, my heart sped up, and I felt them, the both of them. I felt their worry, and their care, and their intentions. They're coming, and they wanted me to hold on. But most especially from Asha I could feel a deep fear, and a worry that seemed to go past just being concerned for my wellbeing.
Something was wrong, but until the two of them get here, I had no idea what it was. All I can do is wait, and hope that Asare was okay, and even hope, that slime ball of a dwarf Dwayne was not dead in a ditch somewhere. But with nothing to do, and Teluna and Nisi healing, I can finally pay attention to this new awareness at the back of my head. I need to know what was the result of the tower bonding with the spirit crystal.

There was a whole lot of change, that much was obvious. And somehow I now had instinctive knowledge about a lot of things regarding the tower. The creation energy, could and should serve as an energy source for the completion of tasks assigned to the tower, and it can also at a specific ratio be converted into any energy within the tower's matrix.
The earth crystal and water crystal had already been absorbed by the tower, now with those energy within it, it could cause their essence to bring forth a physical manifestation. In other words it could now create those elements whose energy are within it's matrix. The earth element energy is the most abundant, for obvious reasons, followed by the water energy, which is mostly due to the water crystal. Wood and metal are something naturally produce by the earth, so trace amounts of it, would be found within the tower's structure.
Now for me to have enough essence, I need to replenish them, and to do that, I either have to buy elemental crystals like Asare had previously done for me, or I had to kill any living thing. All living beings on Shearath have souls good and fine, and as a weaver any one who dies by my hand gets their soul absorbed, but now with my very existence bonded and entwined with the tower, it has given me the ability to absorb the elemental essences from the body of any living thing.
Every living being on Shearath is a composition of different elements, sometimes it's more of a spiritual or magical composition, than it being literal, like in the case of the gnomes or golems who could be said to actually be made from earth. Some people might just have the kind of character you would attribute to the element of earth, sturdy, firm, rigid and defensive.
Automatically those individuals would have trace or even numerous amounts of the elemental essence their characteristics embodies. Sooooo, if they die, it's not just their souls that leave their body, but also those elemental essences, as they flow back into nature and become threads in the very fabric of reality.
But assume they get killed by me, then those elemental essences will find their way into the tower's matrix, and be used as materials for any improvements or ideas I need the tower to implement.
The tower skills looked normal, or at least its what should be there since the tower can convert essences into physical form of the element. Energy conversion had to do with the fact that the tower can transform one form of energy to another, like soul energy to earth, or creation energy to soul, making it possible for the tower to recycle it's own energy. Energy gathering was exactly what it means, the tower can gather energy as long as it's in it's immediate vicinity.
All in all it was a very stellar improvement, and even more so for myself. Control over my soul energy was no longer basic even though I was still in the first realm, the fact that I could manifest my soul energy in a physical form, and control it to a certain extent had made it very possible for me to have soul energy manipulation at the advanced stage.
Other skills had grown rather normally, though I had completely ignored anything that had to do with my swordsman class and it's outlay of skills. Of course the class itself was sealed, but it's passive skill was not.
Mental energy manipulation was level five, which was actually quite normal since I'm still in the second circle of the opening mind realm. I felt that the growth of this particular skill had to be in conjunction with my advancement in skill level. Weave was still level five, no doubt about it.
It's my main mode of attack, but I have not began to explore the intricacies behind it yet, but this was not my fault, life has been a bitch lately. And finally, there's the soul conversion skill, that's not too hard to explain considering I had just used it to brutally take the souls of three unfortunate vampires, and how the fact that it was just at basic level 3 shows that there's still a lot of room for growth. But now that all this was out of the way, I had one thing that I had to worry about. And that was which tasks I could assign the tower.

And somehow I now had instinctive knowledge about a lot of things regarding the tower. The creation energy, could and should serve as an energy source for the completion of tasks assigned to the tower, and it can also at a specific ratio be converted into any energy within the tower's matrix.The earth crystal and water crystal had already been absorbed by the tower, now with those energy within it, it could cause their essence to bring forth a physical manifestation. In other words it could now create those elements whose energy are within it's matrix. The earth element energy is the most abundant, for obvious reasons, followed by the water energy, which is mostly due to the water crystal. Wood and metal are something naturally produce by the earth, so trace amounts of it, would be found within the tower's structure.Now for me to have enough essence, I need to replenish them, and to do that, I either have to buy elemental crystals like Asare had previously done for me, or I had to kill any living thing. All living beings on Shearath have souls good and fine, and as a weaver any one who dies by my hand gets their soul absorbed, but now with my very existence bonded and entwined with the tower, it has given me the ability to absorb the elemental essences from the body of any living thing.Every living being on Shearath is a composition of different elements, sometimes it's more of a spiritual or magical composition, than it being literal, like in the case of the gnomes or golems who could be said to actually be made from earth. Some people might just have the kind of character you would attribute to the element of earth, sturdy, firm, rigid and defensive.Automatically those individuals would have trace or even numerous amounts of the elemental essence their characteristics embodies. Sooooo, if they die, it's not just their souls that leave their body, but also those elemental essences, as they flow back into nature and become threads in the very fabric of reality.But assume they get killed by me, then those elemental essences will find their way into the tower's matrix, and be used as materials for any improvements or ideas I need the tower to implement.The tower skills looked normal, or at least its what should be there since the tower can convert essences into physical form of the element. Energy conversion had to do with the fact that the tower can transform one form of energy to another, like soul energy to earth, or creation energy to soul, making it possible for the tower to recycle it's own energy. Energy gathering was exactly what it means, the tower can gather energy as long as it's in it's immediate vicinity.All in all it was a very stellar improvement, and even more so for myself. Control over my soul energy was no longer basic even though I was still in the first realm, the fact that I could manifest my soul energy in a physical form, and control it to a certain extent had made it very possible for me to have soul energy manipulation at the advanced stage.Other skills had grown rather normally, though I had completely ignored anything that had to do with my swordsman class and it's outlay of skills. Of course the class itself was sealed, but it's passive skill was not.Mental energy manipulation was level five, which was actually quite normal since I'm still in the second circle of the opening mind realm. I felt that the growth of this particular skill had to be in conjunction with my advancement in skill level. Weave was still level five, no doubt about it.It's my main mode of attack, but I have not began to explore the intricacies behind it yet, but this was not my fault, life has been a bitch lately. And finally, there's the soul conversion skill, that's not too hard to explain considering I had just used it to brutally take the souls of three unfortunate vampires, and how the fact that it was just at basic level 3 shows that there's still a lot of room for growth. But now that all this was out of the way, I had one thing that I had to worry about.
