When I opened my eyes, I was still sitting down with Nisi's hand in mine. Regardless of its wrinkled look, the skin of the gnome was actually soft to the touch, like freshly molded mud. I was covered in sweat, and everyone was all around me, looking at me with concern in their eyes. I was feeling really thirsty, and my fangs painfully slid out of my gums, making me moan in pain. A bottle of blood was give to me, and I drank it down, like it was the last time I was ever going to eat anything.
"How long have I been gone?" I asked as I wiped my lips clean of the blood on it.
"Gone? You've been right here the whole time." Nisi replied
I opened my mouth to say something, but quickly shut it. In a manner of speaking I think I understood what had happened. My consciousness, or to be more precise, my soul had been the one to go into the seal, and in a seal, made from runes and rune circles, it becomes something that's no longer constrained of governed by the simple laws existence. However one thing I also understood was that time to a soul is relative and dependent on a number of factors that could just be broken down to one simple thing...….the mood or perception of a soul.
For a soul, an entity that exist outside the natural laws and the very forces of creation and destruction, time is both slow and fast. A minute can be a thousand years, and a thousand years might seem like a minute to a soul. All those hours I spent in the rune circle, talking, running, fighting and even singing, was just a simple five minutes in the outside world. I felt t was funny and sort of cool, but I also realized something, this was dangerous.
My soul literally left my body, any number of things could have gone wrong during that span of time. My soul could have gotten stuck in the seal, or someone would have harmed my body or taken me away without my consciousness in it. Wow the risk with such an action now scared me, and I realized I had to do this for over five million plus vampires, and that's just the ones who are counted. The thousands of her vampires in the bloodline covens Asare never included in a census, and since they accounted for half the population, I'm talking about ten million individuals, and with any one of them, something could go wrong.
"What the fuck was that?" Nisi asked prompting a raised eyebrow from me at her choice of words.
"Language miss Nisi!" Asare warned with a deep voice making Nisi duck her head into her oversized shirt in sheepish embarrassment.
"what the fuck was what?" I asked back earning me a glare from Asare, now it was my turn to look embarrassed.
"It was so cool!, creepy and scary but cool!. As soon as you touched my seal, it lit up, but it wasn't just the seal. Your eyes went white, like you were blind or something, then there was this glowing blue veins that stretched from your head all the way to the hand you were using to hold me and the seal. But you were like that for like five minutes, and everybody was scared. Can you do it again! Pretty pleaseeeeeeeeeee"
I looked at Nisi and gave her the most honest answer I could possibly muster at that moment in time.
"No, never, nope, not. A chance."
Then I ignored her hurt look as I took her hands back into mine. The seal was messed up and it's normal glow was dim. The rune circle was missing chunks of its structure, it did not look like a circle now, mod like a ruin of broken pieces place in the shape of two concentric circles. I could feel that there was a tiny wisp of soul energy still lingering in the seal, and it was trying to repair the damage I had caused. The rate of repair however was quite slow, but given enough time, it would be possible for the seal to completely fix itself.
I shook my head as I wrapped my hand around Nisi's wrist, then I pulled my soul energy though it was a little hard to do so since I had just advanced to a new circle In just five minutes. My soul energy had not settle down enough or gotten used to my new level of strength. Then I weaved [BREAK] onto Nisi's arm, willing my intent into the structure of the rune, to make sure that it completely shattered the seal on her wrist rather than her bones.
As soon as I did that, What there was a hot searing pain coming from Nisi's wrist, I pulled my hand back quickly as the pain became unbearable. Then I watched the seal glow and pulse for like five seconds before suddenly with pop, the seal exploded into a cloud of dissipated dust, and Nisi's hand was seal free.
There was a thick silence in the tower, everyone was watching Nisi's wrist like it was the most important thing in the world. And maybe right now, it was, but all of their looks were making the gnome uncomfortable. For a moment I was worried that maybe it had not worked, that somehow I had failed In breaking the seal, and that everything that's just happened was nothing short of a simple light show. Then Nisi started crying, and with her tears, a yellow brown aura began to seep out of her body.
"I can see it!, Kael I can see it!. The WAY is open to me, it show! It shows!"
Then the gnome ran to me in her excitement and wrapped her tiny hands around my legs. Because of her two feet tall stature, Nisi was not even as tall as my waist, and her head came up to my crotch which made it quite awkward. I had to cough multiple times, before she pulled herself back and pointed at the ground beneath us and said.
"let me show you."

Everything about her own stat page was different from mine. I know I'm unable to do or experience a lot of effects from my stat page because I disconnected from the system. At this point in time I was just like Nisi in that I can see, but I can't touch. While for Nisi, she could use everything the system had to offer her, but she couldn't see it, so her growth was controlled.
Nisi even had a level, something I didn't have, but I think all this would come to me the moment I broke my own seal. Then Nisi waved her hand, and the diagram of her stat page disappeared from where she made it appear on the ground. From the looks of things, her abilities and strength seemed to have increased by double her previous, because she could now access the system.
I looked up, and this time they were no longer staring at Nisi, they were staring at me. To be honest I felt really self conscious, then the vampires began to go down on their knees, one by one. Even Xaseah and Asha did so too. I was shocked, what the hell was going on here! Then a vampire I recognize, the very first vampire to swing one of my rune mining picks, walked forward and bowed down until his head was touching the very ground, and to be honest I was horrified by such an action.
"My Lord Kael, first of his name, Son of Thenetis Cor, son of Videlius Cor. First son of a first son. I, Magellan Dusivaru Meon do so pledge my heart, my body, my mind, my soul, and all of my strength to you, and to your house of Cor, to serve and to protect, in the brightest of suns, and under the darkest of moons. Me and bloodline, this oath shall we keep, for all of our existence until mine and my owns blood become dust on the Earth. Glory To the WAY, Glory To the Coven Cor, and Glory to the Master, Lord Kael, of House Cor."
