Jay was outside the academy and was currently inspecting the contents of the silver ring Lord Tygon gave him.
"No way! 100 Gold Crystals?! (Lord Tygon, what a generous man!) Let's see, what else is in here..."
The space inside the ring was so large that it can store 3 large towns if Jay wanted. After looking around for a while, Jay saw a mountain of Moonsilver Crystals.
Moonsilver Crystals looked like a jet black diamond. The only difference was that it can shatter easily if exposed to any heat.
"Let me guess... 50% of this will probably be needed to forge the equipment required in some secret manual I have yet to find in this ring and 50% will be digested by me to increase my affinity with light and dark magic..."
After muttering for a while, Jay went around again and found 300 balls of Moonlight Essence. Just like monster essence, it looked like a small blob, but Moonlight Essence was a bit cold to the touch.
"Another thing for absorption... Next!"
Jay did not know how long it has been, but he just went around and made sure to look at everything. He found so many valuable things, it was as if he raided a guild or city's treasury.
More than 100 types of different minerals, 100 gold crystals, 3 types of essences, 400 large bottles of different potions, a s**tload amount of pills, 7 books, 5 Skill Enhancing stone tablets, and 3 small crescent moon tokens that is gold in color.
"Amazing! I do not even know how I am going to use all of this. (But he told me only to contact him if I use all of this... Well then...)"
Jay knew it was impossible to do so at the moment since he had many things to bother with; the tournament which is two days away, the stuff he and the Chicken Lord need to talk about, how everyone in the guild is doing, and Nuggets.
So he stopped fiddling around inside the ring and went back to the cave he was on before the tribulation interrupted him.
"I am too lazy to find Nuggets. Let me just use that spell then."
[Jay used 'Call Nuggets']
Nuggets suddenly appeared in front of Jay. Fully awake and was excited to the brim.
Bawk Bawk!!! ("Finally! Are we heading out again?")
Jay shook his head and replied, "Not really. I will be staying in this cave for 30 hours or something then head back to Greengarden afterwards for the tournament. The reason why I summoned you is because I know you have experienced some changes within your body after all of the things that happened recently. Just wanted to check if you are fine."
Nuggets was really touched that Jay cared about her deeply so she flapped her wings and stood up firmly afterwards.
"Don't worry Jay. I am fine and kicking. Just do whatever you have to do. But, let me first show you some new tricks I learned."
After saying that happily, Nuggets suddenly transformed herself into a small but majestic phoenix. Her phoenix transformation just looked like what a phoenix looked like. The only difference was probably her small size and the small sparks of lightning around her.
But sadly, she only managed to use this transformation of hers up to 20 seconds before returning to her normal form.
"Hehehe... So, what do you think Jay? Isn't it amazing?"
Nuggets said proudly as she flapped her wings.
As for Jay, he was a bit surprised and thought, "It looks like she still cannot harness the full potential of her bloodline. But at least she can transform into a tiny phoenix already."
After that line of thought, Jay praised Nuggets and told her to do whatever she wants now since he needed to talk with the Chicken Lord.
"But... I am not done showing off yet! How could you just let me leave like this?"
Nuggets stomped her cute feet and pouted at Jay.
"Alright fine. Go ahead and show me what's new. (Did her attitude change that much?)" Jay did not know what to do and just laughed it off and told Nuggets to go ahead with what she is planning to do.

Nuggets performed skill after skill and Jay watched. The Chicken Lord even acted as some kind of commentator since he was starting to get intrigued with Nuggets.
"Nuggets used Thunderbolt!"

"STOP! I can see she is doing it! (Why do I feel like the first three skills sounds like it came from Pokemon? Hmm...)"
After that showcase of skills, Jay praised Nuggets and asked someone from Golden Phoenix to treat her to some food. He also gave Nuggets a gold crystal for whatever she will eat later on.
Bawk Bawk!!! ("Yay!!! Food! See you later Jay!")
Nuggets flapped her wings happily as she flew back towards the academy while humming some kind of tune in her head.

"Hahaha!!! What a nice companion you have there Jay. I hope you take care of her well. (Hmm... Maybe I should also teach her some chicken skills in the future if she is a bit older...)" The Chicken Lord exclaimed and laughed as he and Jay finally settled down and went do business.
"So, that thing with Hellson, the Origin Core, and whatever you want to add. Want to start talking about it first or should we continue were we left off from my chicken training?" Jay asked.
"There are too many things I need to tell you indeed. But not now. That tournament you are going to participate in is just 2 days away."
Just as Jay was preparing himself for some kind of rigorous start, the Chicken Lord suddenly said, "First of all, go to sleep. Sleep is important if you want your mind to be relaxed. You had enough troubles for the day. (Even though the sun is going to rise soon.)"
"You should have said so earlier when I was near the academy's dorm! Damn it!"
Jay felt like the Chicken Lord was toying with him at the moment so to save up some time, he used the fast travel option in the Fate System to immediately get into one of the rooms of the academy's dorm.

--- Golden Moon Academy Dormitory (???) ---
Jay was currently in a normal sized room. The room was painted in a light blue color and had golden trims on it. There was a nice bed near a squarish window. As for the rest of the stuff in the room, it was just the regular stuff you see in a normal teenager's room. A wardrobe, lamps, desk, chairs, etc.
Jay did not know if the room he was in was occupied or not, so he opened the door and checked if there was a name tag on it.
"Whew! Looks like I got lucky this time and got an empty room. (Strange. Are the dormitories of the academy actually this clean?)"
Jay first looked around and saw that the corridors the stairs leading down to whatever floor of the dormitory was really clean. There were even nice and light-colored furniture that complimented the white paint and gold trims of the walls.
"Well, that's that. Time to sleep."
Seeing nothing else is strange besides the cleanliness, Jay went back in the room and closed the door.
"Okay. Time to sleep! (It is a bit weird sleeping in the morning but who cares.)"
