The next morning, everyone from the Bear Paw guild were gathered at the tavern. They were currently preparing themselves since this was probably the last time they will see the place.
"Jay, why are they so gloomy? Did anything happen?" Bloody Harvest immediately asked Jay the moment he climbed the cellar door that led to the guild hall.
"Some stuff happened. The Bear Paw guild was disbanded by the guild master."
"What exactly happened?" The Chicken Lord asked since he got curious. The disbanding of a guild was not a common thing to encounter nowadays. Before Jay could even reply, Sera, who was sitting nearby, spoke up.
"It's better if you stay out of this, or the affairs of our world."
"Fine, fine." The Chicken Lord said in a casual manner and set his thoughts aside. Before he could even tell everyone in their group to move out since he knew that the tavern will be closed down soon after the people from the Bear Paw guild leaves, Frallia approached everyone and Jay introduced her.
"We have another matter to discuss though..." Jay said before telling everyone about Frallia. He told everyone about her origins, her past, and the troubling question of how she managed to reincarnate into Ashnakara.
"Reincarnation... then I guess getting banished from this plane is not possible anymore." The Chicken Lord said.
"What do you mean it is not possible?" Sera suddenly got interested since she was also troubled over this matter.
"If I remember it correctly, reincarnation is not possible in Ashnakara since it violates a certain law created by the Goddess of Order. Do you guys see where I am going with this?" The Chicken Lord asked since his throat was getting a bit dry from explaining a lot of stuff since yesterday. It's not really a problem if he stops trying to use a high pitched voice. But he was still acting as a female for some reason.
"You seem to know a lot of stuff about our world. But I do not see where you are going with this." Sera said with a confused look on her face.
Just like her, Jay and everyone else listening to the Chicken Lord was confused and did not know where he was getting at.
"Fine. I'll explain it clearly." The Chicken Lord said and massaged his throat before continuing.
"Each of the four goddesses imposed their own law. To what end? Simple. To maintain the balance of Ashnakara and to make sure there won't be a civil war among the citizens of the world."
"What? But how... there are different wars currently happening in Ashnakara!" Sera exclaimed loudly and slammed a table with her palm.
"Then the situation is probably worse than I thought..." The Chicken Lord said softly and sighed before continuing.
"Ashnakara is no longer being maintained by the Four Goddesses. If wars are happening just as you said, then that's the proof behind this thought of mine. And Frallia's reincarnation is another proof of this since a certain law imposed by the Goddess of Order nullifies any kind of magic related to the soul. Reincarnation can be considered as a soul spell since the soul of someone who died gets revived into a new body."
"Impossible! How could our world not be under the Four Goddesses!??" Sera shouted loudly, causing even the Bear Paw guild members to hear it.
"Like I said, there are two proofs that can explain that." The Chicken Lord said calmly and was starting to think of an alternative way for him and everyone else in his group to return to the Fatelord Plane with Jay, and maybe Frallia too.
"Please come with me. I need to deliver these news to Queen Renaline and I need you to be there since she might need your assistance." Sera said hurriedly.
"And why should we do so?" Roasted Boar suddenly spoke up and stood up from his seat.
"What do you mean why?!! Our world is..." Before Sera could even continue speaking, Roasted Boar said what was on his mind.
"We came to this world for Jay. We are not saviors of anything. Besides, this is your world isn't it? We have our own matters to attend to back at our plane."
"You..." Sera became furious after hearing Roasted Boar's words. Just as she was about to speak, Bloody Harvest spoke up.
"Let me ask you this lady. If our plane is also facing threats, will you do the same for us and aid us?"
Sera did not know what words she should answer with, but Bloody Harvest continued speaking.
"Of course not. The Fatelord Plane is ranked as the 999th plane in the Great Millennia. How could a plane ranked above 500 or something help us and 'waste their time' with ants?"
"Look, I'll do you guys a favor in the future, so please just help us this one time?" Sera tried to persuade Roasted Boar and the rest, but Jay suddenly spoke up.
"Lady Sera, please answer me honestly. Is Ashnakara ranked as the 99th in the Great Millennia?"
Sera was a bit surprised why Jay suddenly changed the topic, but she still answered honestly.
"Yes."
"When the planes ranked below 500 fight among themselves, is it true that you see this as entertainment?" Jay asked with a 'smile' on his face.
There was a slight pause before Sera answered.
"No. Of course not!"
"She's lying." Hellson suddenly spoke up. Jay trusted Hellson like his own grandpa, so of course, he believed him.
"I'm afraid you have to deal with your problems on your own, Lady Sera." Jay said with a chilly tone in his voice and gestured everyone in his group to leave the tavern.
"Wait! Don't you dare turn your backs on me!" Sera suddenly shouted and released her Spirit Power and blocked the door.
"Jay has spoken little girl. Please step aside before things get worse." The Chicken Lord said calmly and saw that the members of the Bear Paw guild started to encircle them. As for Frallia, she joined Jay's group since she was still confused about what was happening, and Jay was the closest person she could call as a friend.
"Jessica? Vex?" Jay suddenly glanced at these two women who also released their Spirit Power.
"Sorry Jay. If what the chicken lady said is true, then we must absolutely bring you over to the queen. We are the children of Ashnakara, and children must do everything they can for their mother." Jessica said with a gloomy tone in her voice, as if she did not want to things to end up in a fight.
"Fine. Since this is your decision, then I apologize for this." The Chicken Lord said before telling something else to everyone in their group through telepathic communication.
"All of you, watch and learn. This is your first lesson in using Spirit Power."
Even though Jay knew the basics when it comes to Spirit Power, he still decided to watch whatever the Chicken Lord was about to do.
It was as if time suddenly paused, the Chicken Lord suddenly clapped his hands together and slowly pushed his hands away from each other. Between his palms, a golden ball of light suddenly appeared and at his back, an illusory image of a gigantic version of himself appeared.
"What?!! Everyone stop him!" Sera suddenly shouted in panic as she sent one of the illusory bears at her side rushing towards the Chicken Lord.
"Oh? So you know this move?" The Chicken Lord said as he smirked. Before the rest of the Bear Paw guild members could even do something, before Sera could even stop him, a golden whirlwind appeared.
It suddenly turned into a large ball of wind that covered Jay and the rest, with the Chicken Lord on the center. As for the Bear Paw people, they were slowly being sucked into the golden ball of wind.
"Release!" The Chicken Lord exclaimed as he made the golden ball of light between his palms disperse. The moment he did so, the golden ball of wind suddenly expanded at an incredibly fast speed, sweeping away everything in its path.
The walls of the tavern were blown away together with the rest of the Bear Paw people. Even Sera was not able to save herself from getting blown away.
The golden wind stopped after the Chicken Lord clapped his hands together again.
"Hurry up. We need to leave immediately."
The Chicken Lord said and gestured everyone to run, with him in the lead.
