Jay was currently in front of the beast tamer classroom. "I wonder how much academy points I need for a class promotion? I just hope it was the same as before, which was around 500 academy points."

The moment Jay stepped into the room, it felt like he was transported somewhere else since the first thing he saw was not the same setup as any classroom has. Instead, it looked like a pub. A bar counter, bar stools, some tables and chairs, tapestries on the walls, broken clay pots, and some drunkards.
When these drunkards saw Jay, they ignored him. Then after a few seconds, someone that looked like the barkeep spoke up. The barkeep had dark skin and a crew cut. He was wearing white clothes and leather pants. The most eye catching thing about this guy was probably his arms which were replaced with ebony steel prosthetics.
He scrutinized Jay for a bit then spoke up. "Good afternoon new kid. You here for a lecture? Go to the second floor of the pub."
Just as he was about to lead Jay to the second floor, he suddenly received a message through his golden moon emblem. After receiving the message, he suddenly double checked Jay if it was him, one of the guys the academy was giving a special treatment.
He suddenly broke out in sweat when he realized that Jay was the one who they were supposed to give the highest priority, so he suddenly changed his attitude and suddenly acted as if Jay was some kind of nobility.
"Jay... Young master, please don't scare me like that. You should've introduced yourself earlier."
Jay did not know what was with this guy acting weird. So he said, "Okay... Anyways, did you see a small girl with a golden chicken come in here? They're with me. I would also like a class promotion. And if you guys are not busy, I hope that you can train and help my friends."
Oblivious to the fact of everyone from Golden Phoenix has a special treatment, Jay was full of questions in his head right now.
The barkeep introduced himself while being very polite before he proceeded with Jay's request.
"I should first introduce myself young master. My name is Podrick. But you can call me Pod. I am the Elder of the academy in charge of beast tamers. The little girl and her chicken is upstairs listening to a lecture of one of my colleagues. As for the class promotion, please follow me."
Jay was really weirded out why this 'Elder Pod' was being polite. He could not take this weirdness anymore so he asked what's up.
"Young master does not know? Umm... hold on a moment." Pod was not sure if he should tell Jay about Lord Tygon's orders so he asked Elder Magnus through the golden moon emblem. After a few seconds, he told Jay about it.
"Young master, you and your friends have special privileges within the academy. But as for you young master, we received orders to allow you to utilize our academy in any way you want for free. No academy points required."
Jay's jaw dropped when he heard this and thought, "Then why the f**k did I receive all these gold crystals? Oh my god... Just as when I thought I am a rich guy, this happens. Oh well, at least everything is free. I can just spend this gold crystals for the guild in the future..."
After having that thought, he told Pod to proceed with the class promotion. Pod nodded his head and led Jay towards the pub's cellar located at the back of the bar counter. The moment they descended into the pub's cellar, they were again transported into a different area.
--- Beast Tamer Guild Hall, Golden Moon Academy ---
This place looked really different from the pub earlier. The place looked like the Colosseum from modern times, an large arena with large stone walls. As for where Jay and Pod was teleported, it was somewhere inside the walls, which looked like a spacious and winding corridor. The inside of the walls was also deeper than the arena itself so large stairs were constructed in order for people within the walls to exit the gates.
There were a lot of people in there as if it was a market. There were stalls selling different beast taming items like whips, food, love nectar bottles, etc.
Pod and Jay was currently near a stall near the stairs. Pod signaled Jay to follow and asked him to hand over his beast tamer emblem, the one he received earlier in time at Murkwood Town.
"Oh, a silver bear's paw huh? Let me guess, this emblem is from John the dwarf. Hahaha!!! That dwarf actually softened up a bit and gave you a tier 2 emblem... Hahaha!!!" Pod cannot help but start laughing since he and John were old friends and John was usually the quiet and introverted type of dwarf.
But he remembered to act politely since Jay was the academy's 'esteemed guest' so he stopped laughing and led Jay towards the gates.
When they arrived, Pod began talking about the class promotion.
"Young master, in order to get promoted to a higher tier, you must be able to tame stronger monsters. I suppose you already know that since you are a tier 2 beast tamer already. Well, good luck young master. Just signal me to open the gates when you are ready."
Before Jay proceeded, he first checked his stats and equipment in the mind room.

"Young master, don't worry of getting killed by the beasts. The academy's safety formation will activate when you are in a near death situation and teleport you out of the arena. May Luna's grace fall upon you."
Jay thanked him and proceeded.
