"Hey! What the hell happened? Why did you flee like that?"

As he saw a youngster relaxing next to his sports car without a care in the world, Aldren walked up to him and asked with a frowning face. In response, Bin sighed, shrugged his shoulders and said:

"Nothing, I've won some money and I don't want to lose it."

"Then what about Lady Cass? How come she specifically came to talk to you?"

Bin feigned surprise and lied: "I don't know her, she must've mistaken me for someone else."

Seeing that Bin wasn't going to tell him anything, Aldren didn't pursue the matter although he was still very suspicious. Whatever happened, it concerns Lady Cass and Bin and since neither of them was willing to cooperate, he'll just pretend he saw or heard nothing, as it's always the actions that bring the least amount of consequences.

"Give me your card if you want to cash out."

Aldren grumbled and stretched his hand to which Bin handed him the card while warning him with a serious expression:

"Don't spend my money on the games and don't lose them!"

He seemed to really care about the 4 million won, which really isn't that big of an amount for Aldren, who snorted and left. Bin, who was left alone, leaned on the car and impatiently waited for his money to return.

What happened here seemed like a dream but the pain he feels whenever he pinches is definitely real and this made him happier. His mood was over the moon right now as he joyfully whistled and thought about all the gifts he's going to buy for Mina. As their home got robbed, the little bit clothes she had were either dirtied or disappeared, nevertheless, Jasmine's mother did buy a considerable amount of luxurious clothes for her.

Despite that fact, Bin still planned to buy his sister a lot of clothes, toys and precious souvenirs, as for the rest, it'll be hidden away like the other money.

Fortunately, he managed to get back that stolen money, though at a precious cost, still, his hard word from the last several months didn't go to waste. Add to that today's winnings made Bin consider himself slightly rich. Of course, to secure a good future for Mina, he needs much more money which is why he never thought about quitting his job. Although it's sometimes frustrating, it's by far the best one he'll find, that is, if you exclude the job Melissa offered him.

Anyway, Aldren returned a few minutes later with a stack of bills in his hand. He gave Bin his money then the two got into the car, one was excited while the other seemingly bored.

"Must you act so excited? It's not like you've won a million dollars."

Hearing Aldren, Bin let out a snort, hid the bills deep into his pockets while saying:

"You wouldn't understand."

Aldren glanced at the youth next to him and said: "I don't think I need to. From anyone's point of view, you're poor so gaining that much of money will definitely make you happy, however, it may look like a lot but it disappears as fast as it's earned, trust me."

Bin maintained a brief silence before retorting:+-

"It only disappears if you spend it."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Aldren asked back while lighting a cigarette with one hand and controlling the wheel with the other.

"You bunch, the rich ones, don't count how much you spend because, by the time you actually buy what you want, you would have earned much more from other sources. On the other hand, I am but a servant who gets paid monthly and, as you know, I am sick and I don't have much time left so a big earning like today's is exactly what I need."

As he saw Bin's serious expression, Aldren decided not to say what was on his mind and asked something else:

"I assume it's for your little sister?"

"Indeed it is."

"But I don't get it… even if it's for your little sister, once you're gone, the money would be in the hands of whoever will be responsible for her. They can ditch her and take the money for themselves."

"And that is exactly I'm going to search for an honest family that won't go crazy over a bit of money." So stated Bin with a clear and resolute voice.

Then, a bout of silence flowed between the two young men, who each thought about something. The one to break it was the dandy-looking Aldren who threw away his cigarette across the window and chuckled:

"Funny, I always thought poor people weren't the materialistic type, choosing to believe in God or 'Hope'."

Bin turned to look at the snickering blondie and responded: "Anyone and everyone is materialistic, even if they claim not to be. They say money can't bring happiness but I spit on such sayings because those who say that are the ones born with a silver spoon and don't know what it's truly like to be homeless or to starve for days."

In the end, Aldren chose not to comment and merely focused on the road. It didn't long before the two reached the campus, which was no longer empty.

Fortunately, they arrived at the right time as Bin spotted his 'beloved' master leaving one of the buildings. She seemed to be in a good mood as the classes for today are over, at last.

"Oh I so wish to see my dear Cara but duty calls so I have to go!"

Aldren whined, pointed at his vibrating phone before getting into his car and driving off, leaving Bin alone.
