Hu Cheng Se shook her head. "Master Shou's condition is getting better, but there is no sign of Fourth Brother waking up again." Hu Cheng Se explained that Hu Ye woke up before but immediately went back to his comatose state a moment after.
"I see." Hu Bai was very worried. Their parents were not home so she felt that she was responsible for her younger siblings.
Just like the attack on Hu Ye yesterday, their parents were also ambushed by a group of assassins. Fortunately, Hu Bai had advised her parents early on to bring more than half of the house guards with them—three times the amount they usually traveled with—so their parent got out unscathed.
Hu Bai hanged her head and sighed heavily. Ever since Hu Zi suddenly fainted when she saw Hu Ye's body, Zhi Yu prohibited anyone but Fa Sui and himself from taking care of Hu Ye; Hu Bai was no exception to that rule. Zhi Yu only feared that Hu Ye's strange ailment might be contagious, so he was simply taking preventive measures.
"Sister, do you think that just Doctor Fa is not enough? Should we call another doctor?"

All of the girls were so pretty, wearing the best clothes and using the best perfumes.
"Hmm… It seems that they are not here yet." Jin Lei said, his face holding a disappointed expression.
"Give me a break, will you?" Jin Min said, brushing away Jin Lei's hand. "They are not here. Let's go back now."

"The First and Second Young Miss of the Qing family." The servant announced.
Hearing this, Jin Lei looked back and saw the two young girls walking out of the carriage. His breath caught in his throat at the sight of them.
Jin Lei could not help but praise their beauty silently. Jin Lei then grabbed Jin Min's hem and pulled him. "Look, brother, those are the Qing Sisters! Look, both of them have a different level of beauty than the rest of the guests! Which one of them you like the most?"
Jin Min turned his head and saw both girls standing beside Jin Yin. His eyes widened and his gaze immediately focused on one of the girls.
Jin Lei, having never seen his brother like that, immediately tried to trace his line of sight and guess which one person was lucky enough to be able to get the attention of the crown prince. "Ah, I see. That girl, right?"
