Jun started off the engine and waited for Ji An outside his car. He flipped through his phone to read morning news while waiting. Around five minutes later, Ji An ran towards him with the coffee tumbler. Her face was sour. She immediately passed him the coffee tumbler, and he weighed the tumbler before nodding his head in approval. He gestured Ji An to drive while he took the seat beside her.
Ji An hissed and took the seat. 'Calm down, Ji An. You need to endure for 3 months. Perform well and you can enjoy your freedom back.' There was not much to talk about between two of them so Ji An turned on the radio. Light music filled in the silence between two of them and when Ji An knew the song, she would sometimes sing along.
As the car moved nearer to the outskirt of Seoul, the scenery getting more beautiful. The trees along the highway stood beautifully towards the sky. Their dense green leaves had no sign of turning yellow yet since it was just the start of autumn. Even the sun today was giving it's shy lights, not too bright. Ji An rolled her side window and enjoying the breeze while she drove. One arm was driving the car, while the other arm was extended outside the window to let the autumn wind passed through. Even though she only used one arm to drive, her driving skill was stable.
"Your driving skill not bad." The silence between them was cracked open with one sentence from Jun.
"Of course. Most of reporters driving skill should be good. We sometimes need to drive and record live interview or chasing people." Her eyes shone so brightly when she talked about her daily job as reporter. She really took pride on her job and it could be clearly seen through her radiant face right now. Jun, who couldn't bear to resist the temptation to make argument with her immediately responded back,"I am not praising. You noticed your first driving impression not that good, right? I am preparing myself with this car who has more than enough airbags in case we get accident."
"Why don't you drive yourself then? Since you are scared of my driving skill"
"I am the artist and you are the manager. Did you have your brain rotate upside down? Since when the boss need to drive?" Jun's eyes twitched. The company rented a small house at outskirt of Seoul and had their assigned interior designer to redecorate according to the planned concept. Earth and wooden color would be mainly used on the interior.
Jun would act as if he was the owner of the house. He would take a few shots around the kitchen, bedroom and living room area. Since the shoots itself would not require him to say any lines, he was currently visualizing the layout and what he would need to project during the shooting. To be able to visualize his idea better, he closed his eyes.
From sideways, Ji An thought Jun had fallen asleep and they were going to reach anytime soon. Trying to be considerate with the evil creature besides him, Ji An turned off the radio and maintain total silence. She realized that the sunlight might be bothering his sleep, Ji An started to search for sunglasses inside the car. She stopped the car and rummaged through the compartment slowly. Luckily she could find one. Moving slowly with sunglasses on her hand, Ji An buckled off her seat belt and moved slightly towards Jun.
She was observing Jun angelic face with the pointed nose, thick and black eyebrow. 'He really is handsome. If only he has good attitude, I wouldn't mind working through 3-months contract.' As Ji An getting closer to his face, she could not maintain her weird body angle and twisted her body slightly so she could face Jun directly. 'This is more convenient.' Trying to balance her body within the small space, she slowly without making any sound moved her hands closer and closer to Jun's face and successfully put the sunglasses on.
Startled by slightly cold sensation touching his skin, Jun immediately opened his eyes and saw a pair of brown colored eyes which reminded him of autumn leaves staring back at him.
