Jun was utterly speechless and could only gaze at Ji An's head who was currently lying on his lap. He sighed and patted her cheek.
"Monkey. Wake up." No movement could be detected from Ji An lifeless body. He could see her slow breathing from her chest movement. The other crews who were initially speechless from Jun's bold actions were now laughing hard.
"Oh my goodness, poor Jun. The girl fainted. What did you do?" One of the drunk staff commented and his comment was greeted with laughter. To ease the silence, Jun played around with the crews.
"My kiss might really steal her breath away." And he winked to the rest of the staff. The games continued again, and Jun excused himself with Ji An to go home since Ji An was heavily drunk. Jun brought Ji An to sit on his car while he returned back to settle the dinner party payment.
To his surprise, Kim Anna was waiting for him just outside the restaurant. Jun was planning to ignore her when Anna stopped him again.
"Jun. What are you thinking? How could you kiss Manager Song?" Anna emphasized on the word manager to remind Jun that Song Ji An was a nobody. A mere manager.
"Stop it, Anna. How many times would you like to repeat this pointless conversation?"
Anna heart broke. Pointless. To Jun, conversing with her was pointless? "Jun, how could you say such thing? We were together the whole day today, as if last time. We were perfect and we still are to be together."
Jun smirked,"Perfect? If we were perfect last time, then why did you abandon me for your career? Why did you leave me behind with just a text message? How could that be perfect? Is love some kind of jokes for you?" Jun lost his control and fired rapid questions towards Anna. His heartbroken soul who he tried to keep it hidden was forced open by Anna. It was painful, but necessary. He wanted to end his relationship with Anna.
"Listen to me. You must understand. At that time, I have tried so hard for both of us. I still love you, just like your Anna. I was selfish but I am coming back again. For you." Anna moved closer to hug Jun. To calm his angry heart like what she used to do. She hugged Jun tightly and rained down a tiny kisses on his cheek, jaw before she even landed a kiss on his lips, Jun evaded her kiss so Anna could only kiss his corner lips
Jun slightly pushed her away and could see she was crying hard now. "Jun, why are we like this now? I want my Jun to come back."
"I am always like this, Anna. I waited for my Anna to come back before, but she never did. I kept giving you chance over and over again, but you threw everything away."
"Can we still fix this? Please, Jun. I promise I will be back to be your Anna, back to our good old days. I will always stay by your side."
Jun could only shake his head. He no longer felt the pain. He was at peace now, it felt like a burden had been lifted off his shoulder. The past stayed in the past, he had moved on, bravely and courageously and he was ready for his next phase in life.
"No. Stay where you are, always be the proud and arrogant Kim Anna. We are no longer lovers but we could still be friends. I wish you success in your career. Goodbye." Jun walked away.
Anna could no longer hold her tears. It was falling down rapidly. Her Jun was finally letting her hands. He freed himself from her. Jisu, Anna manager, who watched the whole scene, felt sad for Anna. He took out his coat and covered her trembling body, hugged her to give her much needed warmth while she was crying on his shoulder.
It was not only Jisu, who witnessed the whole scene. Ji An suddenly woke up, feeling confused since she was left behind inside a car. Feeling unfamiliar and nauseous, she got out from the car and saw Kim Anna was kissing Jun, asking Jun to come back. Her sentences was loud and clear in the middle of the night.
'They were in relationship. Are they still together?' Ji An couldn't witness any longer and she decided to get back inside the car and closed her eyes, pushing away the memory. Within minutes, Jun had come back and started the engine. He drove away in silence, thinking Ji An still fell asleep.
Ji An who initially pretended to fall asleep, really fell asleep deeply and did not realize they had even reached her house. Totally out of it, Jun had to carry her and her handbag up to her house. Oh Ha Na who was still awake heard the sound of door knocking from outside and opened her door when she suddenly stood there, her mouth wide opened to see Ji An was carried by Lee Jun, her favorite actor of all times!
"Um, excuse me, this is Song Ji An's house right?"
