Startled, Na Rae threw the cigarette stick on the snowy ground. It hissed as the flames of its butt hit the cold snowy floor.
"Are you really asking me that because you're concerned or is it because you want me to feel like more like a g**d*** failure?" Na Rae bitterly retorted without turning to look at her sister.
If she could only fend for herself, she would've been long gone from her sister's walls. It already hurt her pride to have even asked for Bo Ra's help. But what else is there? She's employed as a lowly servant in a club, her applications for the entertainment industry had all been rejected and lastly... she's f****** pregnant! Worse is that the father of her child doesn't even want anything to do with her!
Na Rae clenched her fist tightly. That stupid man! How could he still be holding on to his dear wife? Can't he just suck it up?! He messed up, big time! Surely that Eun Young wouldn't want anything to do with him after knowing that he got someone else pregnant. Why would he still hold on to her?
Min Jae's words began to echo in her mind again. Since the last day they saw each other, she couldn't forget the way he reacted. The way he boldly declared that woman as his wife... The way he looked so guilty when he mentioned that he was the reason she was hurt... Could it be that he truly loved her? Could it be that she underestimated his feelings for Eun Young?
Na Rae rolled her eyes. She knew Min Jae for being such a coldhearted and work-centered person. Because of these, she didn't think that he would actually be married. He was always focused on his work and she saw him flirt with girls from time to time. What else would she think? Nonetheless, she fell in love with him. All her life no one had intrigued her the way he did. She simply wanted this man's attention. She wanted this man to be hers!
"You could say I was really going for the latter." Bo Ra shamelessly replied. She went to the other side of the terrace where Na Rae also stood. Crossing her arms, she smirked. "It's a shame that things didn't work out the way they were supposed to. You're already carrying his child, his marriage is on the rocks... how could you still not get a hold of him?" Bo Ra mockingly said.
"Don't test me, Bo Ra. I'm not in the f****** mood." Na Rae firmly warned. This b****! Doesn't she have anything else better to do?! She's been bothering her for the past days already! It's like Bo Ra wanted to irritate her to the brink of death! Na Rae picked up the small glass filled with soju. With one gulp, she consumed all its content. The taste of alcohol bitterly ran down her throat.
With that, a scorned expression lingered on Bo Ra's face. "Yeah but you're in the mood of having the baby suck up smoke and alcohol. Have you gone insane?!" Bo Ra exclaimed. She marched up to the table where the half-filled bottle sat. Without hesitation, she threw all the remaining liquid on the ground.
Na Rae scoffed at Bo Ra's actions. "I didn't know you had such a protective side. Moreover, I didn't know that you even had a sisterly side." Na Rae said.
Bo Ra let out a sigh. "Stupid b****. What if Min Jae finds out that you killed his child? Huh?! Even if he doesn't want anything to do with you, he'll still have to take responsibility of the baby." She explained. Bo Ra eyed Na Rae with bitterness and hatred. After all, her sister would never understand. Na Rae was already lucky enough to even carry the child this far... given that their family has a history with miscarriages.
Bo Ra was almost a victim of a miscarriage when she was still in their mother's womb. Being the first child, it was more difficult for her mom. They almost thought that she wouldn't survive when her mother bled after working for so many hours. But miraculously, she did. They didn't come from a well-off family so even as a pregnant woman, their mother would work hard just to earn money to pay for the hospital bills when she comes to give birth.

Bo Ra squinted her eyes disapprovingly. She pinched the bridge of her nose so as to contain her frustration. "So that's it? You're going to throw everything out of the window?" Bo Ra suggested. "You can't blame him for having his doubts! If you're still worried about him not taking responsibility of the child, then why don't you prove to him that he's really the father?!"
Bo Ra crossed her arms and stared into the ground covered in white snow. "Unless of course... he isn't really the father."
Na Rae snappily glared at her direction. "So the truth finally comes out. You're doubting too." She snickered. She wasn't really surprised. With her reputation, everyone could easily doubt her. "Fine, I'll request for a paternity test. We'll clear this f****** misunderstanding once and for all!" She spat.
