Chapter 5 Slime
It turned out that the Wolf King’s neck was completely broken, and had finally died, the previous hit before was with the rest of it’s power.
“I finally won!” I shouted loudly.
And then the level up golden flash and system prompted me that I had risen to Level 8. The BOSS’s experience was pretty good. My body grew stronger as it emitted a white light. Shrouded in the white light my body repaired it self. It was one of the small benefits of leveling up.
I looked at the BOSS as it dropped things onto the ground. I couldn’t help but be overjoyed by the very simple armor and glove.

F*ck! A piece of blue equipment that adds +5 attack power and a point of attack speed is pretty good. The important thing was that the Wolf was rich and had dropped a gold coin. It took a lot of smaller values to make a gold coin. BOSS I love you. After I put on the equipment I looked at my stats.

The most important thing is that at other villages monster will not take the initiative to attack but the monsters there are exceptionally cruel. You stupid brat.” Ye Shuang said.
“Am I wrong, the novices monster are terrible, and will take the initiative to attack. The village is named appropriately Idiot Village. Only an idiot would go there.”

Haha, Good thing. It’s worthy of being red grade. I like. I immediately replaced the Iron Sword and Shield with the gloves. The gloves looked like boxing gloves and I checked my stats.

Seeing the equipment was worth last night’s death match, and my pocket now held 3 gold coins, it wasn’t to bad. The Village Chief said: “Youngster you’re strength isn’t low, and you can go to other places to practice. You are rapidly taking life’s first step.”
I saw that my Level 9 wasn’t low, but I going to other villages would be impossible. I still needed more experience so I’ll go to Gloomy Forest first .On my body was a mantou, and 5 bottles of potions. Thus I went to finish up at Gloomy Forest.
[TL: Mantou is a steamed bread that doesn’t have anything in it and taste pretty bland. I didn’t want to put bread since it was pretty specific kind of bread but steamed bread seemed too long so I kept the pinyin. Mantou’s are pretty good even though they are bland I would recommend trying them out.]
All along the road I didn’t see a lot of monsters. Don’t tell me that monsters only come out to play at night? Then I saw that at the forest there were a lot of players. There were about 30 players and they seemed to be in a confrontation. I went over to have a look.
But then out of the brush beside me a green little guy popped out. I hit a -230 onto the little guy and saw it’s information. A green slime Level 10 Ordinary Beast. Slime was a green like mud kind of monster. At the same time a slime, obviously attacking me excitedly ran over to me, and at a distance of a few steps away it paused and its body bent down. Then a green juice splashed onto my body and a burst of pain came. My HP actually fell by 70 points!
This guy was really a headache for its long range attack, such a cunning thing.
Thankfully I also had the Wolf Bone Armor’s defence or else it would’ve been a lot worst than ⅓ of my health.
Without saying anything else, I went forward to punch it and unexpectedly it jumped back a step. My hit went into the air!
I couldn’t help but secretly complain and quickly stepped forward to catch up. This time not acting rashly and seeing the Slime spit out a mass of green juice. I immediately dodged and punched. The Slime changed shape and a venom came out of it’s wound. It’s health also dropped down 254 points.
It seemed that the Slime’s attack was high but it’s defence was bad. It was one of the high attack low defence types of monsters. Very good for leveling! Of course that was on the premise that you have enough health potions!
I was slightly proud of myself. To have this foresight of using lots of potions.
After the slime dodged a few times., I had completely figured out it’s action of trajectory. As the slime moved its ass, I knew that it was trying to escape to a corner. My fist was 100% effective against the slime. The Slime’s HP was about 800 and after 4 punches it made a ‘zhi zhi’ sound before falling and bursting into coins.
[TL: Slimes had butts? If you say so author..]
At the same time I gained 260 points of experience.
But then there were a lot of people around me and the slime. They cursed at each other but I ignored it and continued to concentrate on the Slime and punched to kill it. I was afraid that the slime would hit me to hard and even while drinking potions I would still not be able to stand it and die. After all the Slime’s attack was not low. Even level 5 defence players would fear being killed.
Time passed bit by bit and every Slime took me about a minute or so to kill. They would come one by one and when they formed a group I would escape in the confusion and drink a potion to recover.
I trained for 2 hours while the group behind me argues for 2 hours. Everything was fine until after a while they stopped giving me any loot. Before they would give 20 copper coins but now they gave nothing.
And then I finally leveled up to Level 10. It was a reasonable level to get a profession.I could also leave this damn Idiot Village.
I heard screams behind me and saw a huge green slime in the crowd. It’s green juice splashed out of the white light.
I saw excitedly, a BOSS appeared!
