They were on the road. Misha seems to be back at herself. She looked at Lyndon who's been sitting beside her silently.
"Where are you staying?" she asked him.
"I have a house here. So, I'll be staying there. And you?" he said. He's been reading the same book from the plane. He asked her the same question without looking.
"I planned on staying on a hotel." she said. She forgot to book herself a room beforehand and she wouldn't dare say any word to him. She's been embarassed enough.
"Well, have you booked already? We will head there first." he asked and then suggested. He knew that she didn't book a room beforehand.
"No, actually I changed my mind. Can I stay with you? I don't have my friends here. They're both on location for their jobs." she lied. Her friends are all in this city and very much available.
"Sure." his short reply and resumed reading. He make it looked like he's unfazed by her request but the truth, he's the happiest at this moment.
"Really? That's great and thank you. I have to trouble you now." she couldn't believe the man. For her, its invading one's privacy.
"No. And that being said, we can fulfill two of your conditions too." he sounded like forced to obliged their conditions but God knows how willing he is.
He pushed a button beside his armrest and began speaking, "Let's directly head to the manor. Misha will be staying at us." He was speaking to Mr. Raynolds. There's no answer in the other's end so, he pushed again the button of the intercom.
However that middle-aged man has own thoughts.
He was taken aback when he saw his master pushing a trolley for a woman. He never saw any woman that can stick to him like that much more like to make him leave work. Thinking about this, Mr. Dan Raynolds can only hope for the better for his master. He viewed Misha as a nice girl. He didn't sense any malicious intent from the woman so, he's thinking if the woman truly like his master. If so, it will be a huge celebration. For him, finally he can see a normal Lyndon Lincoln from now onwards. He's been serving him since he was first sent here by his parents. He watched him grow colder each day. He was afraid before that his master will turn into a vile individual. Today he can just finally feel relief when he finally saw his master today bringing along such beautiful woman with him.
He was even surprised when Lyndon said that he will bring Misha along to the manor. To him, it is really such a huge development and it's worth celebrating. He then informed Butler Chen about his arrival through a text. He emphasized in the text that the master had a companion and it's a woman.
While Mr. Raynolds is lost in his thoughts while driving carefully on the steep roads of Paris, his passengers at the back seems to back at their awkward atmosphere.
They really can't get rid of it despite of having some random conversations from time to time. They are under such a dilemma in the beautiful city of Paris.
'How can I talk to her without getting awkward?' Lyndon has been asking himself quite a while now.
