There was no ladder, and the walls were made up of gray bricks as sturdy as the same material that castles of a long time ago were made up.
Chen Linyun found himself leaning on the gray brick wall, on leg outstretched while the other was curled up on the knee. He seemed to be woken up from a nap.
At the sight of his prison, he scampered at his feet, bewildered as he may be, and flustered too, and alternately pounded the walls with his fists and tapped it with his palms. He kicked the walls too.
"Help!! Somebody help me!!! There's a person down here!!!"
