"Give me your hand," I say reaching out a hand to grab Envy's hand that still had the knife in it. Blood was steadily trickling out of the wound, it was green...his blood. He didn't object or move as I examined the wound.

Using my other hand, I grasp the poorly made hilt of the knife and quickly pull it from his palm. He doesn't so much as sound much less a squeak as I remove it, giving it one more look I throw the blade to the side. Not the slightest bit interested in the crap weapon.

"Mistress, when did you become the caregiver type?" He chuckles, drawing his hand out of mine and I could see the flesh knitting itself together already.

Rolling my eyes, I look at the two goblins that are dead in front us. Their eyes are wide open an expression of shock etched onto their grotesque features.

"You're still one of my pet's aren't you? One should take care of what is there," I replied calmly. Twisting my head I look around making sure that there are no other goblins that are lying in wait for us.

However, there's not the slightest bit of movement. Looks like we'd killed them... for now at least.

"Tch, touche'..." Envy mutters giving me a glum look.

"We should keep moving, I don't like being down here," I told him moving forward, I step over the dead goblins and continue down the fireline path in front of us.

"I'd dare say that we have stumble into a place that we shouldn't have," Envy laughed as he walked next to me, twrilling one of his knives in his hand.

"Or we've stumbled someplace that we're meant to be," I snorted reaching a hand up to touch the jade neckless around my neck. I knew that time was ticking for my cute little kitten.

"Indeed that is one way to look at things," he chuckled as he tilted his head to look at me with a mischievous smile.

Shaking my head, I walk on feeling a sense of urgency and fear take over my body. Something was telling me that I needed to hurry, that if I didn't something bad would transpire.

Clenching my first, I start to run heading forward.

"Oi! Where are you running off to Mistress?" Envy shouted, but I kept running.

The marble floor made a slight clicking sound as I kept running, the pillars flew by me in a blur as I ran. A couple of ghost flew by here and there, but I quickly cut them down.

If felt like I was flying, it was incredible, it was like I floating I was going so fast. Soon the long marble hallway becomes brighter and brighter.

Till I catch sight a staircase, I come skidding to a stop in front of the stairs.

Thump...

Thump...

Thump...

My heartbeat was racing, my breathing was a little ragged, but I felt like I could run for far longer. Casting a glance around, there was a couple painting that was hanging on the wall and the sparkling lights floated in the air. Illuminating the area as if it was daytime.

Taking a deep breath, I move towards one of the paintings that were on the wall. Getting closer, I realized that it was a very detailed portrait of a woman, her hair was raven colored her eyes the color of fire and sunlight. Her hair covered her boobs and acted as a veil to her body, she was naked and her skin was clear as jade.

A beautiful ruby red neckless hung around her neck, it coated her neck and almost seemed to blend in with her skin as if it was apart of her body.

It was such a lifelike painting, I almost reached a hand out to touch it. However, I stopped myself, I didn't want to incite the ire of anything. The painting that had the deranged clowns coming out of them had been enough for me.

Letting my hand fall to my side, I looked on at the painting for a little longer.

Not long after Envy had caught up, he wasn't sweating but he looked a little winded.

"Next time... give a little head's up... Mistress when you decided to run like that," he breathed out his forest green eyes trained on me. He looked tense as if he was expecting me to run yet again.

"You caught up, in the end, didn't you, stop complaining," I snorted.

Drawing away from the painting I moved back towards the staircase. Still feeling the sensation that I needed to go up these stairs.

"Let's go up Envy," I say taking the first step onto the stair and quickly ascending them.

"Really? You couldn't let me catch my breath first?" He asks, but dutifully follows my lead up the stairs. He was somewhat reliable, was I just lucky with the pets that I've obtained. A frown quickly surfaced on my face, when I remembered how much of a pervert he was though.

Mhm, maybe I wasn't lucky actually. I thought to myself, quickly reaching the top of the staircase, I paused finding that there was a wooden door at the top.

This was rather intriguing, reaching a hand I press against the door. All I get is a slight creek, however, it doesn't budge at all.

"What type of person puts a door in that can't be open?" I grumble to myself, in annoyance I slam my hand into the door, the sharp sound of splintering wood sounds.

Wide-eyed, I look up and see that I've managed to punch a hole straight through the wooden door. Chuckling to myself, I pull my hand back through, looking at it there are no splinters, which I'm thankful for.

"Can't open it, Mistress?" Envy voice sounds from right behind me, turning my head slightly I look down at him. His eyes are turned up into half crescent moons as he gives me a smile, his mouth was creeping me out. It was turned up a little bit too much and he was a little close to my butt.

"I've got it, just don't stand to close, okay?" I tell him a little annoyed.
