After entering through the gate it was a whole new atmosphere, the streets are crowded full of people and monsters. There were stalls that lined the whole street, with vendors trying to sell their wares and pull in customers.

I spotted stalls that had food, weapons, and trinkets, also some clothing stalls. Looked like you could find anything you wanted in this place. Plus we'd just entered through the gates but there had to be dozens of stalls that were open and talking to potential customers.

Looking upwards I noticed that some of the stalls had words above their head but I couldn't understand anything. Other just had pictures or symbols above their stalls. It appeared that I would need to learn the language of this place, and also about money.

One would always need money to purchase goods.

Other than the stalls, I noticed that there was also business that had storefronts. They would, of course, have more expensive products.

"Why don't we head somewhere to get the special item appraised," Haru says slipping closer towards me. I give him a sharp look but nod my head in agreement.

"Lead the way," I give a nod and he smiles before we start to walk through the bustling streets. The stall owners looked like they wanted to say something to use, but we moved through the crowd before they could try and rope us in.

Plus even if we weren't moving fast I knew that Haru wouldn't be one to get swept up in schemes, though he seemed like the type you'd suspect would. Looks were deceiving, to say the least, I would have to make a mental note of that.

After we escaped the busy street of stall owners, the town got quieter, we moved to a more upper-class area. All the stores were located in buildings and had fancy signs, hanging above the storefront.

We'd also passed a lot more inn's, plus clothing stores we're on every other corner. It seems that the clothing business was booming, although, it made sense considering that'd I'd burned through my clothes and torn them. One would inevitably need replacements, I would need to stop in and get clothes.

"Alice, I smell the wheel of fortune are at work," Jade's tiny voice whispered next to my ear. I'd almost forgotten that he was there on my shoulder, he barely weighted anything so I didn't take notice of him in less he spoke.

Thankfully, I hadn't lost him in the freefall that I'd taken. Reaching a hand up I give his head a little rub. I really liked the little fellow he was cute and tiny.

"Is that a good thing?" I ask him softly.

"Fortune is always good, but we'll have to see if it'll be because of a bad event or a good event." He stated simply, and I gave a slight nod of my head. That made sense, but the last thing I needed was a run-in with something bad.

We took a left-hand turn and then we started to slow our pace, in front of us was a tiny little hole in the wall store. The sign out front had a laughing head and some characters, that I couldn't read as the name of the store.

"Is this the place?" I ask.

I noticed that this place looked pretty run down from the outside at least, peering into a window I noticed an old man in the store. He had a white beard and beady little eyes, that were looking down at a book. His face was wrinkled from age, but he didn't look old at all, to say the least, his arms were quite thick and looked strong.

"Yep," Haru say pushing the door opening and entering into the store, I follow after him with Callista right behind me. The jingle of a small bell sounded as we entered the door, the old man lifted his eyes from his book. Giving us a quick glance, before his eyes widen as they looked at Haru.

Turning my head, I look at the interior of the store. There are rows and row of shelves, they are full of different things. There a shelf that has a large number of books and pens, although all sort of wedges appear above them, letting me know that they are special items.

Looking at another shelf that full of weapons, more and more wedges appeared. I quickly looked towards another and the same thing happens, I look at the whole room and wedge after wedge appears before my eyes. It looked like everything in this store was a special item, I cast a glance back at the old man.

It looks like I'd met another interesting character, to have all these special items, looks like he wasn't an ordinary Oldman in the least.

"Old friend you've finally come to pay this Oldman a visit," a hearty voice echoed forth from the Oldman. His eyes were warmer now as he looked at Haru.

"Yordrunli you've stayed the same since I'd last seen you. I've brought you something good my friend," Haru stepped forward quickly and they bought reached out a hand and gave each other a hearty handshake. A grin on both of their faces.

I move closer towards the two.

"Oh, you always say that you bring me something good," the Oldman named Yordrunli replied as he let go of Haru hand and gave him a sly look.

An easy expression played on Haru's features as if he wasn't phased at all by the Oldman jest. With a wave of his hand, a snowglobe appears, which he places down on the counter in front of the Oldman.

With a shake of his hand, the old man picks up the item and give it a look. As he looks at it his face transform into a greedy face. A laugh leaves his mouth as he looks away from the globe and back at Haru.

"I take back my words, you don't disappoint my friend this is quite the find. I'd say that it's least a triple AAA item. You've struck it rich as far as this world goes for items, it's rare to find something this good," he solemnly says as he twists the snowglobe in his hand.
