Qian’er nodded too. “Yeah, me neither. The roads here are too convoluted.”
“Well, you can come with me if you want to, but don’t blame if you do.”
Jiaojiao narrowed her eyes. “I smell something fishy.”
Qian’er nodded in deep agreement.
“C’mon, we’ll find our own way. I don’t wanna play with him anymore.”
Jiaojiao dragged Qian’er away.
Li Yi shook his head and laughed. Once he found the right direction, he ran for the Sixth Demon God’s residence in the middle of Karan City.
The Search for the Truth quest required players to interview several dozen upper-class demons in Karan City, and the interviewees were not predetermined. While the players were enquiring, there was also a chance that the NPCs could see through their disguise, leading to a battle.
That was why Li Yi did not take Jiaojiao and Qian’er along. If their cover was blown, things could turn ugly.
The Sixth Demon God’s residence was, without a doubt, the scariest part of Karan City. The Sixth Demon God was stationed here, as were his Four Demon Generals, each of whom had the power of a Demon God.
The Sixth Demon God had an extremely large aggro radius, and the moment a player crossed entered it, the Sixth Demon God would immediately kill them.

This was the most dangerous segment of the Search for the Truth quest.
Li Yi checked the Potions of Concealment that he had left and realized that he did not even half of his original stash left. He could only splash three more demons at the most.
Here was to hoping that he could obtain a useful rumor after asking three demons!
Li Yi waited outside for over another half hour before he walked into the Demon God’s residence.
Compared to outside, the upper-class demons in the Demon God’s residence looked even more intimidating. They wore extravagant clothes and walked a leisurely pace, the very embodiment of a noble.
Li Yi found an upper-class demon who walked alone. Once he made sure they were out of view, he asked the demon about Aragon.
Haha, you got the right guy. I know more about Aragon than anyone else. It was the Third Demon God himself who broke his leg, but do you know why? He actually dared to try and steal the Third Demon God’s title. Hahaha, what an arrogant fellow…”
