“Hey, don’t pry into our business, okay?”
“Damn. If you tell us, we won’t be prying…” Black Rock, loyal to his snooping habit, insisted. Qin Ruo finally sighed and gave in.
“Okay, okay. Remorseless Warrior wanted to know how many more Angelic Wings do we own… That is, how many more people from the three Clans here have fused with Divinity crystals.”
“That’s it? That’s enough to spook him?” Permanent Lock suddenly appeared out of thin air, coming out from his Stealth Status and surprising his surrounding teammates.
Qin Ruo gave him a glare and continued, “I don’t know if he’s spooked. But that was all he asked. Then he shook his head and left… That’s all.”
“So, what did you tell him?”
“What else could I have said?” Qin Ruo explained, “It’ll only be a matter of time before the world knows about your wings. So, I just told him everything. There’s no need to lie.”
“Sure, you told him the truth. How did you word it though? How many wings?”
“Can’t you count yourself?” Qin Ruo glared at Subjugator spitefully.
The latter wore a bitter smile. “Boss, how would I know who in these three Clans fused with their Divinities, or how many more Divinities you gifted out? Only you have the full picture…”
Black Rock and the others nodded their heads. “Yeah, we were so surprised to see Xiaoxiao spread out her wings earlier.”

Violet Orchid, Homme Fatale and the others, who were standing outside of their circle, were dumbfounded after they heard that. Apocalypse wiped off the cold sweat on his forehead and stuttered.

Then, Majestic Hero, Black God, and I destroyed two Liches in the Buried City together—so that’s two more Divinities (Majestic Hero and Black God opted to keep the Legendary gears). So, we had four in total yesterday… Subjugator and Snowleaf each fused with one of the two we got from the Galbis; the other two crystals, which I obtained from the Liches, I gave them to Dinosaurcerer and Judge.”

That’s the Divinity crystal I acquired from completing my Tier 5 rank-up mission. The crystal was a Water-type one so I saved it for her.” Qin Ruo was not lying. They knew Xiaoxiao and Qin Ruo were “colleagues and friends”, so it was normal for him to give her special treatment. Besides, the other Tier 5 members from the Fallen Angels, except for Fateless and Permanent Lock, were already in possession of their own Angelic Wings…

They would have owned all the ten keys by then and connected the Buried City to Angel Faction. Entering the Buried City would just require a leap into the Warp Portal.

“I thought the same too. But… there was this other mission in the Buried City that would yield a great prize, and we hadn’t completed it yet…”

“There’s one Revenge Mission. The prize is a Dark Gold Legendary Ring…”

Qin Ruo then briefly told them the stats of Darius’ Ring of Vengeance. After they heard about it, everyone took a deep breath…
“That’s so overpowered!”
“Now that’s understandable… Dual recovery… dual absorption… and it throws in another extra skill that’s akin to Berserk… Mother of God, this thing’s insanely powerful… and it was quite a hassle to get our hands on it too!” Subjugator frowned.
“We’ll have to take on a Tier 6 Megaboss and another twelve Tier 5 Megabosses. Even if we all join in on the battle at the same time, it might not even flinch. And it’s got a time limit too since it’s in the Buried City… This will take up a lot of our time. Why not just activate the Warp Portal and send us all in that way?”
As he finished, Judge interjected.
“No, we have enough time and manpower. Since we’ve completed six Golden Key Missions, we have people from a total of six Eternity Peaks coming together… The Hall of Heroes, Black Prison, and us… There’ll be a militia of up to twenty men… enough to take on a Dark Knight Commander.”
“Judge’s words exactly.”
Qin Ruo nodded and continued, “If we activate the Warp Portal now… everyone from the Angel Faction will swarm in. Then, we won’t be the only ones after the Dark Knight Commander and the Ring of Vengeance… Anyone with a little bit of muscle could join the fight, and in the midst of that chaos, it would be very difficult for us to obtain the Ring of Vengeance.
“Besides, the Demon Faction’s progress in the Buried City’s missions has been behind us. And we haven’t seen anyone from their faction appearing down at the Buried City too… Majestic Hero, Black God, and I have a theory… that it’ll take another two or three days for them to complete their missions and open up their Warp Portal… So, we have two days to prepare our plan to take out the Dark Knight Commander.”
