Yuvraj unlocked his fingers and poured a glass of water and stretched out his hand towards her and said " If you are crying for that reason then i think you need more water to cry " there was an annoyance and anger in his voice which he tried his best to hide but Manya understand the meaning of his every tone .
Manya looked at him with her wetted eyes , not expecting from him to reply her sarcastically. Her tears stopped flowing while her body temperature started to rise in fraction of second and she don't understand why maybe , she is angry at him for mocking her emotions or for realizing how childish she's reacting.
Yuvraj was still holding the glass in his hand he stretched forward a bit and noticing her frozen state he gesture her through his eyes indicating her to take the glass. Manya took the glass from him and emptied the whole glass in an instance without stopping .Yuvraj shook his head lightly at her actions. 'This idiot girl. Sometimes... she really drives me crazy... ' he thought to himself and the one corner of his lips lifted up slightly.
After drinking the water Manya somewhat felt a little better smacking the glass on the table she closed her eyes started to take deep breathes slowly she calmed herself.
Opening her lightly blackish brown eyes she looked at him demanding an explanation for his words.
Yuvraj chuckled at her transformation from a cry baby to a demanding person as if he had done a crime and need to explain his deed. He breathe out and opened his mouth.
" Manya..!! Why do you think , i'll do that ? Don't you know me!! .To think that i'll break our friendship just because you scored 6th rank!!...That's really pathetic and absurd" Yuvraj sounded very irritated and troubled , as he would never think about doing something like that .
Manya's eyes soften after his words entered her ears but then her brows furrowed while remembering about his bet , not wanting to trouble her brain to think she question him "Did you lied at that time? "
" No. I didn't " he replied firmly .
" Then according to you ' only the best deserve the best '. "she argued with him.
" Manya , you don't have to take , literally every word i said . I just wanted to shut them that doesn't mean that i doubt your ability " Yuvraj answered her patiently and continued
" I said that because , i know..that your the best and about the bet..trust me , dear....No one can beat you ."
Manya felt puzzled at his explanation . ' He said best deserve the best in front of everyone while staking our friendship and challenging everyone to compete with me and now he says i am the best then , why did he challenged ? he should have just announced it to everyone that i am the best or at least should have tolled me earlier. i wouldn't have cried that much and i don't even care about others think. '
Manya humped while thinking about this she gritted her teeth's and pressed her lips staring at her hands.
Yuvraj was totally shocked at her puzzled expressions ' She really thought that i will break our friendship and leave her forever. Oh yes...and she wasn't crying because i am leaving she cried thinking that she was not the best for me . My God!!....I am having a headache again ' then he started rubbing his forehead and temple with his long fingers.
After thinking hard about the situation for about five minutes both of them lifted their heads and said
" Chinna!! "
" Chinni!! " simultaneously and their eyes were locked on each other. Pausing for two seconds slowly their lips started to curl upwards and they burst out laughing uncontrollably.
The sound of their loud laughs echoed in Naina's ears who was walking through the corridors , heading towards the stairs .
Naina got a call from her school friend and they decided to meet up , she was feeling irritated not able to make a plan for Yuvraj. After all it's not that , easy to trick him and she can get some advise from her friend .
While heading out she heard their loud laugh.
She quickly walked to the Yuvraj's room and standing at the door she was utterly shocked to see the scenario in the room.
Manya was sitting on the sofa with her upper body resting on the side cushion holding her stomach with both the hands , laughing till the , tears came out from the corners of her eyes and Yuvraj was leaning back on the couch , his face facing the ceiling with the wrist of his one hand kept on his eyes and he was also laughing continuously. ' ' Yuvi is laughing non-stop , there must be a problem ' thought Naina .
"Hello...we need an ambulance"
