Natalie finished her degree in University along with Abby.
But for some reason, no company wanted to employ her. Maybe due to her background.
Natalie stopped using social media for five years, and it was Abby who told her about the competition for the aspiring fashion designers. And thanks to her skills, she won the said competition.
One week later after the competiton, the TTCC called her and offered her a work as one of the company's fashion designers. Of course, Natalie didn't waste the opportunity, she grabbed it quickly!
The company allowed her to choose her own assistant.
Natalie choose her cousin/best friend to be her assistant.

When Natalie calmed her self, she got out from the cubicle and washed her face before she get back to her office.
"Sis, you're back! How was it going?!" Abby asked excitedly.
Natalie looked at her cousin .
Abby was stunned to see her cousin's swollen eyes!
"What happened? Why your eyes are swollen?!" Abby asked.
Natalie weakly take a seat.
"Abby, he's here..." Natalie replied while looking at Abby with her blank expression.
Abby thought that Natalie is going to tell her a creepy story, so she slowly tilted her head and looked beside her and asked, "Who?!"
"Natalie don't scare me!" Abby said.
"My ex boyfriend ." Natalie replied.
"Oh!" Abby have a sigh of relief but then she froze. "Your ex?!" She asked.
"Yes! I saw him!" Natalie said.
Abby knitted her brows, "You only have one ex boyfriend! So , you mean that Jian?!" Abby asked.
Natalie nodded her head.
"Really?! Where did you see him? " Abby asked out of curiosity.
"He's the boss..."
Abby was stunned for a few seconds.
"The...The boss?! You mean... Your ex-lover is The CEO?!"
Natalie lightly nodded her head.
Abby gasped with her eyes wide opened!
"My! Is this just a coincidence?!" Abby asked.
Natalie shrugged her shoulders.
"I don't know either, I don't know what's his intention for employing me. Maybe to face slap me?" Natalie replied. "Abby, Jian is a different person now, he turned cold. The way he look at me is full of hatred. He's so cold towards me. It seems like I don't know him anymore." Natalie said with sorrows in her eyes.
"Oh! Natalie, you don't deserve to be treated like this! You only did it for his sake !" Abby said.
"Sis, what if you talk to him?! Tell him what really happened five years ago!" Abby suggested but Natalie shook her head.
"No! It's useless!" Natalie replied." It'll only make him think that I want to reconcile with him for his wealth. And besides, everything between us are over!"
Abby sigh!

Abby was afraid that Natalie might have anxiety attack again, so she tried to find a way to make her cousin feel better!
"Don't worry! I am here to back you up if he will bully you! I am willing to kick his a** if he did that!" Abby said.
Natalie smiled, this cousin of hers really know how to make her smile whenever she felt bad!
"Are you sure you will do that even if you get fired?!" Natalie asked.
"Why not?!" Abby replied.
"Alright! I know it! I know that you're a loyal friend! C'mon let's get back to work!" Natalie said.
She took a deep breath and tried to fucos on her work! She will prove to Jian that she deserved the tittle of being the champion on that competition!

It was already ten in the evening when Jian decided to go home.
He turn off his laptop and fixed his things before he get up from his seat and go out from his office.
He walked towards the CEO's elevator in front of his office.
But Jian's foot steps froze, he tilted his head on the ally.
There's another elevator for the employees a few meters away from him, and he need to pass by Natalie's office if he choose to use the employee's elevator.
Jian changed took a steps towards the employee's elevator.
When he was about to pass Natalie's office, he didn't expect that Natalie and her assistant are still there.
The surrounding was quite, so, he can hear their conversations.
Jian' s foot steps automatically came to a stop!

Natalie decided to finish one of her designs.
It's already late but she has no plan to go home yet!
She and Abby live in the same house, so, Abby waited for her.
Abby felt bored, and when she felt bored, her curiosity will come to her mind again!
She's staring to Natalie and then she called her name.
"Natalie, brother Henry has been away for five years , have you not missed him?" Abby asked.
Natalie glanced at Abby." Why did you asked suddenly?"
"I was just curious! The two of you are so close to each other."
"Of course I missed him!" Natalie replied while she continued to do her sketch.
"Can I ask you another question?" Abby asked again.
"Enn..." Natalie nodded without looking to Abby.
She knew Abby is just bored. So, she let her ask questions.
"Umm... But it's alright if you don't want to answer this question. " Abby said.
"What is it?" Natalie replied.
"Do you regretted it?" Abby asked.
Natalie froze...
"I mean , now that you learn that your ex boyfriend become successful, have you regretted your decision for "dumping" him five years ago?"
Abby emphasized the word "dumping ".
Natalie tightened her grip to her pencil.
She took a deep breath and she looked up to Abby.
Jian on the other hand held his breath while waiting for Natalie's reply.
He did not dare to move , afraid that the two woman inside the office might notice his presence.
But Natalie's answer only awakens the hatred and the pain that she caused to him five years ago!
"No! I never regretted anything. " Jian heard Natalie said.
Jian's expression instantly turned dark and he clenched his teeth and balled his fist.
He don't have the reason to stay there any longer, so he continued to walk towards the employees elevator with his dark expression. He never get the chance to hear Natalie's next words.
