"Here you are, Onii-chan.", she said that as she handed me a bowl of katsudon.
When I was in London as an exchange student a few years back, I taught Charlotte how to make Japanese food as well. I mean, who wouldn't miss their home country's food when they're staying abroad?! Anyways, I am really grateful to my younger self for teaching her how to make it back then. I really don't have any energy left to make food now.

Even after hearing my thanks, she kept standing there as if she was waiting for something. Thus, I reached out my right hand to pat her head.

I heard the sound of the clicking of the tongue somewhere close by.
"Mio? Did you say anything?"
"Nothing~~~"
"Araara, miss Mio. Are you jealous of me? Are you that jealous of me who received your brother's patting?"

The atmosphere immediately started to get tense. Why do I have to go through this kind of atmosphere every day?!?!
But thanks to that, I have developed some kind of immunity towards this kind of atmosphere.
"There, there Mio. Don't be angry at her. Here, I'll pat your head as well."

"Meow~~~ Nii-shyama ish the byest~~~", she said those words in a dreamy voice while cuddling with me.

Like the last time, just in the right moment, Mashiro-chan appeared once again.
"Mashiro!!! If you help me this time, I'll even forgive that time when you had forsaken me!"

Instead of walking away like last time, she actually walked towards me.
"Mashiro! I'll forever be in your debt!"
Just as I was hoping that she'd free me from Mio's grasp, she walked right past me and stopped in front of the door that leads to the basement."

I quizzically looked at Mashiro.

As I was trying to figure out what Mashiro was going to do, she immediately jumped and latched onto the doorknob.
"Don't tell me..."
Mashiro turned to look at my face. That cat face of hers looks as if it was mocking me. I suddenly felt a chill running down my spine.
*Meow*, she meowed for one last time before turning the doorknob, resulting in the door being opened.
"Mashiro! You damn cat! I'll get you for this!!!"
Just as I was about to go and bash Mashiro in the head, I heard a chilling voice coming from above me.
"Nii-sama... I believe that it is time for us to go as well~"
"No!!!!"
"No need to worry, Onii-chan. I will take care of Mashiro for you, and in the case of you being seriously injured, I have already contacted a nearby hospital for you. Their ambulance is ready to come and fetch your corps-, ah sorry, I meant body anytime!"
"You were going to say corpse, weren't you?!?!"

"Miss Charlotte, I believe that we have minds that think alike. Would you also like to join in on our family's 'discussion'?"
