Right after stepping off the boat, I have come to a realization.

"Do you think that Mio could've just gone up to Eiichi-san and ask one of the sailors to take her to the mainland?"

Because of that, I decided to call my father.

"What's up, Yuuji? You need any help finding Mio?", my dad asked in his usual cheerful voice.
"Spill it."
"Huh?"
"Spill it out. Where is Mio."
"W-What are you talking about, Yuuji? I-I can't possibly be involved in this, right?"
"No need to make up excuses anymore, dad. Eiichi-san already told me all about it."
"Tsk. That damn old man..."
"I lied, by the way."
"Oi!!!"
"Spill it out, now!"
"N-Never!!!"
"If you don't spill it out, I'm going to call mom right now and tell her about the gravure magazine that you've hidden in the vault."
"F-Fine!!!!"
And that was how I persuaded my dad to give me the information about Mio's whereabouts. Apparently, dad had a friend who is the head of the Black Tiger Gang. They met in college, or so he said. Anyway, he and this friend of his kept in touch with each other over the years, and so when Mio asked for a place to stay in the mainland, he asked this friend of his to give her a place to stay. However,
"Uh... Yuuji... If you're really going to the Black Tiger Gang's base... There's something you need to know..."
"Hm?"
"This gang has a rather eccentric rule. If someone is coming to stay with them, that person is required to have a spar with all the members in the gang first. If that person wins against all of their members, he or she will immediately become the gang leader. And from what I've heard... My friend just stepped down from his position as the gang leader a few hours ago."
"So, wait... Mio's the gang leader now?!?!"
"Yep..."
After hanging up the phone, I told Hanako about Mio's whereabouts.
"What the hell?!?!" was the first reaction she gave when I told her the whole story.
Since I knew that this is going to be dangerous, I convinced her to wait for me at the ship with Eiichi-san. However...
"Yuuji... Didn't I tell you before? I don't want to leave your side anymore. That's why... Even if you're going to the ends of the Earth, I'm still going to follow you there."
Her brilliant smile made me unable to refuse, and thus, Hanako and I went towards the Black Tiger Gang's base.
"Wait a second, Hanako."
"Hm? You got something you need to do?"
"Yea. Just a little."
I dialled mom's number on my phone and called her.
"Hey, mom"
"What is it, Yuuji?"
"I found this gravure magazine that dad kept in his vault, so I thought that I'd let you know."
"Thank you, Yuuji. You dad and I will probably have a long~~~ talk about this."
Then, I hung up the phone.
"Uh... Yuuji. Wasn't that quite a cruel thing to do to your own dad?"
"Nope. He deserved it."
This time around, we really started walking towards the Black Tiger Gang's base.

After walking for a while, we've found the base. It seems that they've taken over an abandoned five-storey building and made it into their base. Once we got into the building, it seems that Mio has already anticipated that we will come and has arranged a 'welcoming party' for us.
"Kiddo. You're Boss's brother, right? Leave now if you don't want to get hurt."
On the first floor of the building, more than ten gang members are already waiting for us with weapons in their hands.
"Tsk. Such small fries don't deserve my fists. Make way now, or else YOU'RE going to get hurt. I'm taking my sister back, no matter what."
"Hahaha. You've got some guts, kid!"
He said that as he swung his axe towards me. However, before the axe connected with my body, Hanako already sprinted out and kicked the axe user's face.
"How dare you point your weapons at Yuuji!", she furiously kicked him repeatedly until he passed out.
As if they've woken up from a slumber, the remaining gang members brandished their weapons and entered a fighting stance.
"Hanako! You take the rear! I'll be the vanguard!"
"Be careful, Yuuji!"
Thus, the battle with the Black Tiger Gang begun...
