The usually enthusiastic and cute little sister Charlotte made a face that clearly showed her displeasure today. And as we know, the is definitely not a good sign. Well... I kind of understand the reason for her displeasure though...
"W-What is it, Charlotte?"
Although I already knew the answer to that question, I still asked her timidly.
That, however, caused her intimidating aura to expand even more.
"WHY IS IT EVEN HOTTER HERE IN THIS REGION?!?!"
She bellowed out with all the air in her lungs. Although I've rarely seen her being angry, once she really does get angry, she's even scarier than Mio and Hanako combined.
"W-Wai-"
"SHUT UP, Onii-chan!!!"
Luckily though, she does not tend to resort to violent actions when she gets angry. Instead...
"Since you've successfully managed to anger me, why don't I reward you, Onii-chan?"
She said that with a dark, ominous smile on her face. Only a fool wouldn't realize that she is extremely angry.
"C-Charlotte! Wai-"
"Let's see... How about this picture of when you got tied down and beaten up by Mio and Hanako Onee-chan, hm?"
"P-Please don't!!!"
"And... uploa-"
Before she could press the upload button on her phone, I immediately ran towards a nearby food stall and bought a few skewers of meat.
"Wha? Onii-chan?!?!"
Before she could say anything further, I shoved the meat skewers into her mouth and waited for her to finish eating.
"Thank you, Onii-chan! You're the best!"
"N-No problem, Charlotte... Anything for you..."
With those words finally said, I finally collapsed down onto the sidewalk in exhaustion...
Ah... Dodged a bullet there...
So easy...

After a little ruckus at the bus station in Korat, we found a nearby hotel to stay in and went out for a little walk. On our way to the nearby department store, we found a cat wandering on the sidewalk.
"O-Onii-chan, can I?"
She turned towards me with sparkles in her eyes. Knowing that I couldn't stop her even if I told her not to do it, I agreed to her cute request.
"Sure... But be careful, okay?"
With those words spoken, Charlotte immediately charged forward and cuddled the cat.
"Nyan!!!!!!"
"Mou~~~ Don't run away, little kitty! I won't hurt you!!!"
Even though the cat tried to run away with all its might, it still couldn't compare to Charlotte's reflexes. When the cat tried to jump away from its initial position, Charlotte would always be one step ahead and always managed to catch the cat on the position it landed immediately.
Her speed and dexterity were so great to the degree that I, her older brother, couldn't catch up to her. Since when did she get so dexterous, I wonder...
"NyanNyanNyan~~~~~"
"Purr~~~~~"
"Nya★!"
Believe it or not, all those sounds were made by Charlotte, not the cat. Seeming as if it had accepted its fate, the cat just lied there lazily in Charlotte's arms. It didn't even try to struggle anymore. Giving it a look of sympathy, I gave him (or her) a thumbs-up and then continued to watch Charlotte cuddling it a little more...

That was another mistake I made...
I have underestimated Charlotte's love for cats, because...
"Nee, Charlotte... Let's go find your father, shall we?"
Looking at me in bewilderment, she then returned her gaze towards the cat that she is cuddling in her arms and ignored me completely.
"It's already been TWO FRICKING HOURS Charlotte! It's time to let that cat go!!!"

She refused me resolutely. Why is she being so stubborn at times like these...
So, I decided to throw her some bait.
"Sigh... And I was thinking about treating you to an all-you-can-eat meat buffet after we found your father..."
Her ears perked up in full attention.
"And I really want to eat more meat today... Sigh... Maybe we won't be able to eat it after all..."
Charlotte's will started to waver, causing drool to form at the corners of her mouth.
"Sigh... If only Charlotte would put down the cat..."
"M-Mou~!!! Onii-chan is such a meanie!!! Fine! Let's go find father!"
Fufufu~ It seems that she has taken the bait...
"But I'm not letting go of the cat!"

"Fufufu... It seems that we've arrived, Hanako Nee-sama..."

From an outsider's perspective, two sisters are laughing creepily along the airport terminal. Although they couldn't make out the content of the conversation the two sisters were having, they've already started to feel sorry for the person that incurred their wrath.
"Where should we start, Hanako Nee-sama?"
"Hmm... How about a nearby cooking store, Mio? We should be able to get some decent knives there."
"As expected of Nee-sama! You're so smart!"
