Li Wei got out of his car and entered into the mansion. The servants bowed him and Butler Gong took him to the room where Wu Lang was at. The room was at the top floor. It was the room where he and Xu Zhuya had spend their eight months together. Ever since she had left, the room had been kept closed and no one had the permission to enter the room.
But since, Wu Lang was with him, he stayed with him in that room only. He had promised Wu Lang that he will bring his mother back and so he was going to bring her back. Everyday after putting Wu Lang to sleep, he would go to the washroom and cry. In the office, he was a cold-blooded person, but at home, he was a soft-hearted person. He had loved her so much that he was never able to forget her.
Now, today when she had slapped him, he felt that his small world had broken. And he felt that he wouldn't be able to fulfill his child's longing promise.
He knocked on the door "Hey!! Dad is back... Won't you open the door, now ??" He bought his ear close to the door and listened carefully to the sounds coming from the inside. It was some kind of a song, a woman's voice. It felt like a nursery rhyme.
When Wu Lang heard his dad speak, he hurriedly got out of the bed. Stopped the song and stood near the door. He then asked "Daddy, You are late... You had made a promise to me today, did you..." "Now, let's go and eat. I'm hungry and you are also hungry." With that Li Wei took him in his lap and they both headed towards the dining table.
Since, the servants were calling Wu Lang for food from quite a long time, the food had already been set and was cold. Li Wei ordered the dishes to be heated again. He made Wu Lang sit on the chair and neatly tucked a napkin inside his shirt. He also sat on the chair which was beside his son and kept the napkin on his thighs.
Two young girl and boy came beside Li Wei and hugged him "Daddy!!!" They were the children of his first wife and Wu Lang's step-siblings. Li Wei smiled and hugged them back "How have you guys been?? How was school today??"
Both of them were now 11 years old and were the eldest in the family. They took care of Wu Lang as their own brother and they always played with him. Li Man replied "It was good, Daddy. We both have been studying hard."
While they were hugging Li Wei, Wu Lang complained "Daddy, Big Brother and Big Sister are bad... They don't play with me anymore." He wailed and slapped his hands on the table.

Seeing the three standing together, he asked "What's wrong?? You guys won't have your food??" Wu Lang replied cocquettishly "We will, if you feed us..."
Li Wei chuckled at their behaviour 'three little brats...haha.' He filled up his plate and started feeding one by one. The three were playing while, their dad was feeding them.
