Besides Sasuke acing every test, Naruto demonstrated far superior abilities which were not completely visible from academy students point of view,
Iruka was surprised, but the other supervising teachers were even more so…..
Naruto's written theory answers had completely surpassed the chuunin level thinking in the questions given, such that even if a jonin was given these tests, one could still differentiate the level of quality these answers were provided with.
The Shuriken and Kunai test was more than just accuracy it also tested the body posture, speed, techniques, reaction time, everything which Naruto did way better than his peers.
Cloning jutsu on the other hand was smashed by Naruto as he had summoned 20 clones and had them transform into all of his classmates from the semester.
These records clearly surpassed all, even Itachi could not match up with Naruto in the theory department in his previous records, though both were evenly matched in physical abilities and other records.
Itachi's only advantage was his age factor and intelligence as he had cleared his academy much earlier.
In the 3rd Hokage's room….
The twin doors burst open as a man shows up kneeling down towards the hokage
"Hokage-sama, Naruto, he..."
