I woke up when the sun had already disappeared behind the horizon, allowing the chilling light of the moon to rule over the land. I think I could've probably sleep till the next morning, but...

"That dream again... It's been a while." I let out a heavy sigh. When I first tried absorbing chakra, those nightmares stopped and I could sleep soundly at night; however, there is a saying 'everything good ends at some point.' I sat up in my bad and gazed outside of the window. Clear, but starless night sky had only one supreme ruler, the white jewel of the sky.

I got out of the bed and walked out of my house. Stroling lasurly down the road, I drowned in silence of usually busy streets. Here is the playground where I often play with kids and teens who have nothing to do. The hospital, where many diseases can be cured. No one knows, but right beneath this building, there is a huge research institute where diseases, poisons, medicine and many other things are thoroughly researched.

Passing by many places, I reached the main road. During the day, it is brimming with liveliness. Stalls, shops and other facilities are mostly located on this road. Living district is now much bigger than it was when the village was just founded. Clans, be they small or even some of the big and well known, joined our ranks and brought prosperity over this land. Lakes, rivers and the forest provided us with materials and protection from all sides; and at the very edge, a mountain was covering everything with its massive body.

"Hashirama is insane... If someone's face is going to get carved into this huge thing, it will be seen from every corner of the village. I really hope I won't get chosen... I have enough of those statues of me back in my world." I whispered under my breath. Honestly speaking, I really would like to destroy all of those statues, but the Queen forbade me from doing so.

*A small flashback*

"This is the recognition that people give you. As the crown princes, as well as someone they respect and admire, you should just accept this with a graceful smile." My adoptive mother told me.

She bend down and whispered into my horse ear, "I was shy as well when my statue and paintings were made." She smiled with mischief and hugged me tightly.

"I would have never approved of your candidature, if you didn't make me. You were too exceptional."

A small tear escaped her beautiful hazel orbs.

*End of a flashback*

I reached the top of the mountain and sat there in daze. Whenever I have something troubling me, I would come here and think. However, I would never be alone. Somehow, Tobirama always appeared here at those kind of moments and would talk to me about my problems or just sit and keep me company. I heard a rustle in the bushes, but didn't turn my head. Tobirama isn't here. He have had left with his brother. I looked at three handmade bracelets on my wrist. They were made out of strong, soft strings that formed a beautiful patterns.

*Another small flashback*

"Malika, Happy Birthday!" When I walked into my house, I was greeted with this deafening shout. In the room Hashirama who was wearing a party hat, Tobirama who was holding a small cake and Madara with Izuna and a little reluctant Fukushū were holding party cannons.

"We remembered that it was your birthday today, so we wanted to make a little surprise for you!"

"Elder brother, it was you who decided to do that."

"Oh, now Tobirama, don't be shy. You were the one who gave the idea for the present." Madara was laughing at embarrassed Tobirama and Izuna was smirking quietly in the corner.

I stood there and a wide grin formed uncontrollably on my face. It has been a year since the end of the war and we were slowly building our village in this forest.

"Thank you, guys! I'm really happy that you remembered about it. Actually, I kinda forgot about my birthday." I scratched my head.

They smiled back and the party started. It wasn't all that big, but we had a lot of fun. They gave me their presents by the end and left. I looked over them and felt a warm feeling spreading through my body.

Fukushū gave me a set of training weights. He has been mocking me from the very first meeting, but now he only gives short comments about my training and it seems like he decided to increase the difficulty... Does he think I'll listen to him? Well since this is a present, I'll use it sometimes.

Izuna gave me some copies of books from his collection. He knows that I like everything new and especially books. They were mainly stories about great shinobi of the past and some fairytales were mixed in. Thanks.

And lastly, I was holding three beautiful bracelets. One of them was made out of red strings and had a pair of small pale pink wings. The other one was brown with few golden string mixed in and the last one was blue with some pink semi-precious stones hanging on the strings.

"I didn't know they would make them... So they did like my handy work, hehe. Now we are matching!" A few months ago, On one of the sleepless nights, I made friendship bracelets for the four of us. When I give them to their respective owners, they were a little surprised and accepted them. My bracelets are stored in the storage space so that I wouldn't lose them when I'm playing with kids or work on he village. Now they made bracelets for me.

I was about to but them in the space as well, but decided against it. This bracelets were way more precious and dear than the ones I made for myself. I put them on and casted multiple protection spells

*End of a flashback*

I studied each and every bracelet and in the light of the moon, I saw a small mark on a blue one.

"So that's how you appear here." A small, almost unnoticeable Hiraishin mark was carefully drawn on the inside of the bracelet.

I sat on the cliff until the first sunrisers hit the sky. I teleported back to my apartment and made myself some breakfast.

**************************

A few days later, Hashirama was officially titled as the leader of the village, The Hokage of the Konohagakure. It was a joyous occasion and the celebration that was held, will be remembered by many. We had a lot of fun and later went back to our duties. Everything was really peaceful; however, this was the beginning of the storm that laid ahead of this village.
