His body emits a red strong aura. It was horrifying!
This is troublesome, I think it's better to just run and leave him behind. Wearing armor like that would just slow him down.
"Hey, guys... want to just run? This will be a tough fight. If he attacks me with that I'm sure I'll get killed." I am now trying to convince them to just run away.
"This is the first time you said something like that. Are you going to back out now?" Elou raised his one brow.
Really? Are you telling me that now? Damn it Elou, I thought you would just say ok...
"Fine! Don't attack him yet. He will just absorb your attacks and buff himself." It will not be good if he reaches the same power as Handy. That attack would be a taste of hell.
"Hey, midgets! Are you just going to stand there? That archer looking guy looks dumb, I'm pretty sure he loves to eat a banana with that face. BWAHAHAHA!" Haha. You think it will work? Provoking us won't...
"DON'T MAKE FUN OF MY FACE! TAKE MY ARROWS!" Jeez. Elou! He's too easy going. I never thought he will get mad so easily.
Elou shoots arrows like a speed of light. Damn it!
"Elou! Stop that you'll just buff him up!" I shouted but... he doesn't look like he wants to stop at all.
The boss' HP is still going down. He can only use rage mode if his HP is below fifty percent. That's good news to us but the rage mode effects are really bad. The lower his HP is, the more powerful his attacks are.
"Don't get near him! Spam your long-range attacks!" I said while charging my mana.
"Your attacks are pitiful! You think I'm going down without a fight?" Yeah, yeah, you can't even get near us and you talk like that.
"He's just bluffing. Just spam your long-range attacks and don't let him make a move. BWAHAHAHA!" Now it's my turn to piss him off.
I can see that he's having a hard time. Defending from multiple attacks without support is like just being a punching bag. He may be strong but if he can't get near us it will be useless.
He glows even more! This time I'm sure his HP is almost out.
They are almost out of mana and ammo too.
It's time for some explosion!
I rushed towards the boss and prepared my attack.
"I know you would run for the kill! But do you think I'm going down?! Take this!" From the position of his sword, he will use a side slash.
"SONIC SLASH!" Eh? That's a different move. In a panic, I rolled down to avoid the attack. It created a massive wave which cut the trees near us. But thankfully my reflexive instinct saved me. The others are pretty much scattered and none of them got caught by his attack.
And now he's preparing an overhead strike. But I anticipated that move...
The moment he slashes his sword to the ground, I spun fast enough to avoid it.
"SCISSOR FIERY KICK!" I furiously kicked him in mid-air creating a powerful attack fast enough to attack him unguarded. It was so powerful his face hit the groundbreaking every bone he has. I know it's the end at that time.
Player killing is normal to the game. It's not considered illegal or bad but Order of Light Protection Squad is one of those groups who maintain the peace in the city. They are like the police but in medieval costume.
"Are you guys ok?" I asked them. From the looks of it, they are exhausted. It's almost morning already. We can see the sunrise from here. The battle happened near the lake.
"Yeah, we're alright. Thank God, we defeated him because he can't use long-range attacks. He was a monster! " He said while sitting down with a look of relief.
He and I looted the dead bodies. It will be such a waste if we just leave them, right?
After that, we headed back to the city.
-Lake Near the Hobgoblin's Area-
Meanwhile, the lake that was clear as crystal is now as red as a ruby.
A patrol from Order of Light saw the abnormalities of the lake.
"Holy crap! It's really red! I'll need to go and check it out!" He said to himself and rode his horse to the way the red water came from.
There he discovered the remains of the players who got killed. The bodies of dead players will remain for four hours until they re-spawn.
"This should be reported to the higher-ups. Bandits are still players. If you can capture them alive it would be better. But it looks like they're not just bandits. They are the Wild Lions Bandits! They should be High-ranked party to do something like this!" He exclaimed.
-Order of Light Tavern-
I feel so tired. I want to relax and eat some good food.
After reaching the city, we rushed to the tavern.
"Hey, you're back! Did you find the dungeon?" The tavern keeper's smiling as usual.
"Bring us some food and we want to rent a room. Also, you've got the wrong information about the dungeon. It was a hideout of bandits. I'm pretty sure they created that rumor to attract victims. Thank God we escaped from them." Better to lie now, because we killed them. It'll be bad for us if the guild hears about it.
"Oh, is that so? I should be more careful giving out information like that. It might affect my reputation." Just bring our food already.
After eating our meal, we rested for a bit. We checked the loot we gained from the bandits and most of them are high quality. We might sell them for a good price. I don't need the longsword because I only use light weapons. The shields are too large for my back to carry. I only use light shields so I can hide them at my back.

"Is Scythus and his party here?" A group of guards came to our room looking for us.
"It depends on what reason and who are you guys?" I know who they are but it's better to ask them. They might give us the name of the one who ordered them or the purpose why they're here.
"Order of the light's Guild Leader is looking for you. You need to come with us." Why, the heck, is he looking for us? Is it about the bandits? Jeez.
"Sure, sure, let's go guys."
