"This is inevitable, Scy. You all chose to fight and we also did. This is a price to pay for the deaths from our side. We won't allow you to do as you please." I can tell that Akko did her best. Warden's shield is broken and Azzie's also injured in certain parts of her body. I'm calming down bit by bit.
"You're right, Warden. Then prepare yourself for a serious beating!" I don't care if my hands are ruined or my body won't listen to me anymore. I just want to finish this war so I can wake up and rest.
"I had enough beating from your girlfriend, yet I want to still fight you." Did he just say, girlfriend?
"Hmm... she's not my girlfriend. She's a friend and a companion. Man... you're ruining the mood." And no, I'm not blushing at all. It's just that the atmosphere supposed to be intense and such but now he said something weird.
"Oh, sorry. I thought she was your girl because of you, shouting like you're her boyfriend. Like, "Akko! Why did you leave me and stuff." I didn't say that!
"But anyway, let's get on with it." He said then once again, he changed to his monster form without any problems. Though, I don't think I can use my monster soul anymore. The more you use them in succession, the more they eat mana and it's not a good choice if I want to last in this battle.
"You look injured yourself, Scy. You won't be giving us a good fight with that condition but I guess you have to." Azzie uses almost the same spells as Akko and their firepower is almost at the same level. If I want to defeat her, I need spells to counter her wide range firepower. I may have high fire resist but if she can use powerful ones, then I don't think I can survive at all.
"Don't worry, Octopus. You have me, we can win this." Uhmmm, this Osia girl calls me Octopus now...
"This is not the right time to ask this but I don't think I can fight with this in my mind... Why did you call me Octopus again?" I asked curiously.
"Well... because you fart blackness and octopus do the same, right?" Well... she kinda made sense. But oh well... I don't think that's how it works with the octopus...
"Oh... ok... Anyway, I need to take someone's life first so I will talk to you later. I can take both of them so just rest for a while." I said it but it will be hard.
"Wait... I will take on the fire girl there. I'm sure you can defeat that shield guy easily, right?" She suggested. With her power, I can tell that she might be able to win against Azzie.
"Well, revenge is just a word of pleasure which I would like to share with you today. Be careful." I accepted her help because I know that I can't really win against both of them combined.
I can feel my arms a bit but it's not healed. Still, the only thing I could do right now is fight warden with melee combat because of his anti-spell abilities. I can feel a slight pain which tells me that I'm still not in a good condition to fight. But who cares, they killed Akko and I will do the same thing to them.
"FIRE BOOSTER!" This is how you start a fight!
I charged at Warden with great speed but it looks like someone doesn't like me to reach him.
"BLAZING FLAME WAVES!" Azzie used a high-level fire spell which created a wave of flames moving towards me.
"GLACIAL TERRITORY!" The field was embraced by ice and the flames were frozen solid and disappeared after it melted creating a cloud of steam. I can't deny it but Osia's pretty strong too.
"GLACIAL PRISON!" Thorns of ice pierced the ground below Azzie but she was agile enough to dodge them by dashing using almost the same as my fire booster!
"GLACIAL SHATTER!" Osia created a ball of ice near Azzie and suddenly, it exploded making a powerful ice burst!
"PROTECTOR'S MAGIC REFLECTION!" Warden dashed towards Azzie to help her! He created a magical shield that bounced Osia's attack back at her!
"GLACIAL WALL!" She made a wall of ice to protect herself from her own spells. Warden and his annoying reflect spells.
"Woah! Did that guy really do something like that?! That is seriously awesome!" Osia was amazed by his protective magical shield.
"Well, it's not that awesome. To be precise, it's annoying." I replied.
"BLAZING METEOR!" A large ball of fire is coming down from above!
"GLACIAL WALLS!" Osia created layers of walls made of ice to protect us! She is trying to prepare a better defense because she still can't measure how strong Azzie is.
It looks like this is how they won against Akko. Warden protecting Azzie while she does all the damaging.
*BOOOOOM!* The meteor collided with the walls and it was completely stopped. Osia's defensive and offensive abilities are pretty good. It's like she's almost invulnerable with her abilities, not to mention Shiv and Venum's status effects didn't affect her which is really weird.
I tried my best to get closer to them and readied my dagger. With both of them vulnerable to physical attacks, I can do huge damage without even using my monster soul.
"FIERY HEAVY SLASH!" Finally! Warden is going to defend my attack but your shield won't help you!
*CLANG!* What?! Someone stopped my heavy attack!
"I'm sorry but that's not enough. Huh?" It's Azzie! She saw my face! I never expected that she would get near me and use a sword to stop my attack!
I hopped back out of panic and covered my face fast. Good job trying to be obvious... damn it.
"You... you look familiar. I can't tell because of that ugly face but somehow... you remind me of someone." I knew it!
"DARKNESS!" I used my spell to restrict their eyesight in the area. I should divert her attention!
"I SUMMON YOU, GLACIAL SERPENT!" Suddenly, a large dragon-like creature appeared from above! It's Osia's monster soul!
*ROOOOOOAR!* Suddenly, it charged towards them!
"PROTECTOR'S REFLECTIVE BARRIER!" Warden tried to block the ice dragon! He was able to stand his ground but it still slowly pushing him back!
*ROOOOAR!* The ice dragon opened its mouth and then tried to bite him!
"PROTECTOR'S ULTIMATE BARRIER!" He created a sphere barrier to protect himself from physical attacks this time! The ice dragon suddenly bit him! I remember that Warden doesn't have a good physical defense so, with the bite of the ice dragon, it will be hard for him to defend and that would be good news for us.
*SHATTERS* Suddenly, the head of the ice dragon shattered upon trying to bite Warden! Does that mean he has a better physical defense now? If so, then I was absolutely wrong!!
*CLANG!* Ugh! I wasn't paying attention... I'm still fighting with Azzie. Once again, our swords collided.
"You shouldn't take your eyes off from a lady of beauty like me," Azzie whispered. I don't think it's appropriate to say things like that now when I'm about to kill you.
"I can say that beauty doesn't matter to me, beat me and maybe I'll change my mind,"
"I would love that! CHERUFE'S BLAZING BLADE!" She infused flames to her blade. Just like I do but it's not just regular fire mastery flames but with her monster soul aura.
*BAAAAM!* Oh jeez! She tried to slash me but I know that I can't possibly block it without my monster soul so I dodged instead by hopping back. Her sword hit the ground and suddenly made a powerful expyowsion!
"You really are fast when running away huh." Is she really trying to trash talk me?
"Can we just fight and not talk? This is really making me uncomfortable..."
"If you say so, CHERUFE'S PRISON OF FLAMES!" Flames were created around me, making a wall of flames trying to cover me! I thought I used darkness, how can she know where I am?!
And upon checking the area... the ground is covered in flames which I think she created when I was checking the ice dragon and Warden. It also melted the ice covering the area. It's not that inflicting much damage that I didn't even notice. She's using the flames to track me down...
*SWOOOOSH!* I used my fire boosters to get away from above. This time, she won't be able to know where I am. The only thing that can make her track me is the small explosions created by my fire boosters.
"LET THERE BE LIGHT!" Supports nearby all together chanted at the same time! They're trying to dispell my darkness! There's no time to stop them!
In just a second, the darkness disappeared and with bright light, she can see me now...
"Damn it! Get away! GLACIAL WALLS!" Warden won't leave Osia alone too...
"It looks like you won't get away this time." And I thought I'm strong but I guess I still need to train more or maybe I just die too much...
