"Are we sure about the Yeti? They say that Yetis are slow but incredibly tough and powerful. They also have an ability that increases their health regeneration which is kinda a problem," I worriedly asked. We are still not aware of the dangers here in Tundra.
"Well, we have you so that lessens the problems. Haha," Oh man... Elou really thinks that I can carry them this time.
I just showed a blank face after that...
"Our plan this time would be to increase Elou's melee abilities and Akko and Lili's defense. The Yeti's area is far ahead north. Let's go!" I excitedly said.
-North of Vanguards Stronghold, Yeti's Area-
We traveled to the Yeti's area without any problems, just some wolves in our way. The more we go farther, the colder it gets. The coldness effect reduces our mana and stamina regeneration. Stamina is used to do fast movements like evasive maneuvers. Stamina is affected by the fatigue status, the higher the fatigue is the lower our stamina. Fatigue is reduced when doing nothing, resting or logging out of the game so from time to time we rest for a bit.
We arrived at the place. We are already using two heaters now but it's still really cold. It's just been four days since they discovered the place so they haven't built any camps in this area yet.
"Should we just go back? We are really having a rough time here," I asked.
"We still can go on. Let's just kill a couple of Yetis," Elou suggested.
"Sure, but retreating is always a good choice, ok?" I recommended.
We still went ahead even with my warnings. I'm not really worried about anything but if for some reason we die here, our items would be buried in snow which is really bad. It will be hard to recover.
This time, the place is full of rocks. It's getting narrower as we go farther. We should be near the mountains with this kind of environment.
"Guys I found a Yeti. Go hide so we can ambush it," Elou found one with his sharp eyes.
Yeti's fur is extremely thick. No wonder it survives in this kind of climate. This one doesn't look a normal Yeti, I haven't really seen one before but I can tell. It must be one of the higher-level ones because it has horns and really tall.
We silently sneaked near it. It's Elou's time to make the first move. Unlike us, archery is one of the best masteries for assassinations.
*SWOOOOOOOSH!* He shot one of his arrows with incredible speed and accuracy.
*BAAAAAAM!* A loud noise was triggered after hitting the Yeti's head!
Ugh! It didn't affect the Yeti! They're really tough as mentioned from the news when they just discovered the area.
"What the?! That should be at least left a scratch!" Elou was really shocked at what happened. He only bought a good bow but only uses regular arrows. With better arrows, he might really inflict better damage.
"IGNITE!" Akko used one of her powerful spells to burn the Yeti. The Yeti caught on fire really fast because of its thick fur but didn't last long because of the weather.
"GAWOOOOOOOOH!" It screamed really loud which make us unsteady because of the shock wave. This one is really strong!
It charged to us destroying huge stones on its way. I decided to meet him halfway and attack it but...
*BAAAAAAAAM!* Because of the coldness, it's hard for me to avoid its attack! After getting hit, I flew and hit one of the huge rocks.
"Scy! HEALING HANDS!" Lili rushed towards me and healed me as fast as she can.
"Sorry, I thought you could dodge it and decided not to use my barrier on you," Lili worriedly said, at least I know that she can really talk.
"It's ok. This weather slows me down and thanks for the healing," I stood up.
The Yeti is preparing to attack again. This time it's aiming for Elou but thankfully because of what happened to me, Elou was more aware of how the yeti attacks and managed to dodge it and at the same time countered with a long-range attack. He used consecutive shots making the Yeti struggle a bit. Akko also fired multiple powerful fire spells which caused it to slow down.
"FIRE BOOSTER!" I used my overused spell which makes me rush towards the target.
After getting near the yeti, it attacked me as soon as I'm at its range but it's dumb enough to use simple attacks again. I dodge it in time and prepared a powerful attack!
"SCISSOR FIERY KICK!" As usual, I aimed for the face.
*BAAAAAAAM!* Its teeth cracked like they were fish crackers. Its horn also broke like bananas. But too bad it didn't die from that.
"GAWOOOOOOOH!" It cried in pain. This time it was angered and for an instant, it charged at me and attacked me again. They were consecutive random attacks! I somehow evaded them.
"GAWOOOOOOH!" It became like a savage and enraged!
*SWOOOOOOSH! SWOOOSH!* Fire spells and arrows from Elou and Akko are flying towards the Yeti. This time the attacks were effective and the damage staggers the Yeti for a moment. Becoming enraged, it decreases the defense of the monsters but increases their power a lot. I prepared a devastating attack this time for the kill.
"OVERHEAD DARK FLAME SLASH!"
*BAAAAAAAM!* I took out my short sword and my attack hit the yeti that created a massive explosion. The yeti died after that powerful attack.
"WOOH! I never thought we could be having a hard time killing one Yeti," Elou said.
"Yeah, well this one is not an ordinary Yeti. I think it's one of the strongest Yetis here," I explained.
"Oh, this time we should really go back and prepare more. My arrows were deflected by its defense and it was really frustrating," He said while pouting.
"Let's go back," I suggested and that ended our little adventure.
-Vanguards Stronghold-
We traveled back to the Vanguard's Stronghold after looting the Yeti. We went to one of the shops around here to sell what we got.
"Wow! You killed the tough Yeti in the tundra! This is great, just wait here for a second," The shopkeeper was really shocked after seeing the loot we got. It's just a Yeti...
"Oh. If it isn't the group of Scythus, this shopkeeper here told us that you killed the Yeti?" It's the blunt soldier who talks to Siegriel.
"Oh, Hello Sir. I didn't catch up your name earlier," I said while trying to ask for his name.
"Oh, you can call me Warden. I'm the trusted right hand of Sieg. Anyways, we came here because of the Yeti. Bounty hunters are trying to hunt it down but somehow, they failed. You are the only party who successfully hunted it down," He was impressed by what we've done right now.
"Oh, sure..." That's the only words came out of my mouth.
"Why don't you guys come with me to the Guildhall?" He asked.
"Ehh? Really?"
